KILLING5PR33
Why not? I just finished my first playthrough in about 45 hours. And that includes the oleander xp boosting witch takes a couple of hours when you are not online like myself and have to dupe your weapons to make money. i just compared my tag to yours. you got 835 on it not the full 1k. All im saying is that it takes more then 40 hrs to complete all the achievements in this game.
The Pants Party
love the guide but like i said before you need to put guides up for people that never played the game before, it is no where near 40 hrs, that is too laughable!!!!!!!! I am at 38 total hours, directly before the point of no return. I have done every single side-quest in the game except for those at Overpass. Gonna guess maybe two hours for those. From what I've read the prison is only two hours max. Then maybe four hours grinding out level 50 depending on how I do it, and hopefully getting the last orange weapon I need won't take too long. Another four hours maybe for Right 4 Life and the few miscellaneous achievements I need. That's 50 hours at the most, plus the two hours I spent getting co-op achievements. So 52 hours for the full 1000. For people who aren't as thorough as me, it would be considerably less. Your original post suggesting 80 was fine since the game had just come out, but with all the glitches and shortcuts we know about now, it is way too high. 40-60 is perfect if you use the guide, which by the way, IS written for people who have not played it. It is here specifically to instruct those people on the fastest way to complete it... which again, is way less than 80 hours using the tricks listed here. KeepEmRolling
I did some checking, menage a trios is not cumulative, it's similar to together in the light in that you gotta do it in one shot. At least, the few I had done with 3 partners before (plus myself) didn't carry over. It was cumulative for me. I did 3/5 in one sitting with some friends, then the other 2 three days later. Also, the spot that I used for setting fire to 10 zombies at once was down on the southern part of the city map where the boat is. There's alot of them there, and I ran thru the group, ran back towards the boat, and got on top of one of the smaller boats on the beach and shot at the few zombies who didn't chase after me, drawing them to me. Maranatha666
10 Headshots is easy if u going in the City Hall 2nd time. There are a mounted gun on the balcony were u can Headshot the Zombies. It took some time cause u have to wait for respawns.

PS my gamer tag is now GoddessBastet You can't use FURY/RAGE mode while going for this achievement. Simply go for INFECTED to earn this. Godstar
TPP - A bunch of friends and I discovered THE fastest way to level to 50 using the thug method. 1.) Have a level 50 create a game at the resort who hasn't done the quest for the molotov cocktail at the Thug house yet. 2.) Have 3 more people join - level doesn't matter, the more that join the more experience the person leveling gets. 3.) Have the lower level person you want to level join the game - as long as their progression is further along they should be able to join. 4.) Progress to leveling.... My friend at level 10 was getting about 3k+ (150 exp per person) *3 a hit on the thug. The number of people in the game directly affects the bonus experience each player receives for the bonus, and the level differential between the character and the zombie your fighting also improves the experience game. To my knowledge, the highest level Zombie I was able to get was a level 47. I had to keep reloading until the zombie level I wanted popped. Not sure if you want to mention this in your leveling guide, but it might be helpful to some people. Note, that even if the person drops out of the game, they should be in that 'instance' of the game and have a high level zombie that was in the co-op game, just in a single player version of it, so it's not necessary for the higher level person to stay their unless the zombie gets killed. I'm not sure if reloading would reset the level of the zombie, or if you left the area and the zombie 'reset' (though I don't think it's possible to leave once you're there). evo_4
Nice guide brother, thanks... It helped much. Im at the end of Act 2 btw. Half of the cheevs. 24/48 i got. I have a question. Is there any way to track the 72 locations of the game? I mean, do i have a chance to know which location on which act i've missed? If not, it'll take too many times to explorer whole map. The Pants Party
Unfortunately there is no list in-game of what locations you've found, no.
MeonOner
I just finished my first play through at level 46 Purna. Need a few more levels to reach 50. Wortsenawl
Regarding the difficulty, you give it 5/10, is this based on playing single player or multi-player as by all accounts they are wildly different. I have yet to try MP, but SP can be a BITCH! Nice guide by the way, thanks.
BUZZARDIO 1080
i just wanted to say, your commonly missed locations guide (under the there and back again achievement), is probably the most helpful thing ive ever read on this site, awesome and thankyou. The Vinilui
Does a Deo-Bomb counts as a grenade?
B0seiju
No, though you can get your kill a suicider achievement with a deo-bomb, you can't kill an infected with it for the cheevo. You'll need a real grenade for that.

That's how long that it took me to get my 990 and then I'm waiting another to get 28 days later legit.
Revolverrr
Another good way of getting quick XP but a bit more of an effort than the one posted on here, just before you get into the parking lot you have 2 thugs to fight, and I was ranked 49 and received 2000+XP from each thug, after you have killed both of them, go into the parking lot, wait for it to load, and turn around and go back outside, the 2 thugs will be there again! so if you don't have the perk that has been posted on this thread, this is also a very good way to get quick XP. TheRealPoonJab
Later in my game, one of the merchants in moresby city (more specifically, the one on the way to the police station) began to sell grenades. I got these as early as Act 2. So where ever you happen to come across grenades, travel to the church. Head out the gate to the right if you are exiting the church, down the steps and into the street. Continue straight, passing the Police Truck (love that song :])...Hang an immediate right, where there is a bridge that crosses over the sewer wash. Now about 5-7 zombies congregate here, and I have ALWAYS had an infected run at me at this same spot. Jump up onto the truck on the small bridge, let them all pile up at one end, infected included, and then drop your nade. Make sure you stay still for a second, so they don't change position when you get out of the way of the blast radius. Viola...Easy Catch

Necrophage33
Hey Pants, do you think it's worth putting in a warning of some sort in the Oleander XP boosting method about carrying too much Oleander and quitting? I've had two friends now who bought ~$400k worth of Oleander, had to leave and didn't give them to the guy at Ope's Cave, and their games wouldn't load when they tried to continue. I'm assuming it's because of their massive Oleander inventories when they quit, and the game couldn't handle loading it all. It would freeze on the loading screen for them. I know it isn't confirmed to be the cause, but I just thought it might be worth it to stick a warning in there, just in case. I always made sure to submit all my Oleander before I quit my session, just so I didn't have an overwhelming inventory. Can never be too careful with this game. Tanaki Khan
Agreed. Very useful guide! Now got to try kill this damn Ram with a tackle! ARGH! If you head to the Abandoned House fast travel in Moresby, and then head to the shore there is a RAM you can safely toy with there (I think he is on a small back street that connects with the beach and he sees you as you run passed). You might have to remove 1-2 zombies first. Beat him to an inch of his life with your favourite weapon then start ramming him *cough* from behind at his weak point.
