FXH Reaper
Ok I have played through the game roughly 4 times (twice with 2 different characters) and each play through I have gotten all the claptrap's but it still wont unlock any suggestions? The Filthy Goat
Do you have the DLC? I'm not sure if it affects the achievement, but if you do, you may have to get the claptraps in the DLC as well.
FXH Reaper
ok, ill see if that is the problem
fuzz n ga
did you actually apply the backpack upgrades to your character make sure you do that once you get them. all i can tell you is to use the claptrap guide in the forums thats what i did and you can only get the one in old haven with the quest "not without my claptrap"
vetteindreams
i admit to having the problem that fuzz suggested there were two that i had forgotten to apply in my pack.... so my lack of the achievement was my own fault

The Filthy Goat
theres enough claptraps in the original game Yeah, I just reread the achievement description. I was remembering it as a "save all claptraps" achievement as opposed to a "get 42 inventory slots" achievement. I'm most likely wrong then. I guess in this instance, I'd have to ask whether the OP does in fact have 42 inventory slots? It is easy to miss some of those claptraps.

I know I'd saved at least 5 Claptraps before I applied the upgrades since I thought it the space went up automatically.

MundyGG
this has to be done with one character, and is easily done by finding all 10 on play through 1 and equip them so you have 42 slots, you can also get 5 on play through 2 and 2 from the zombie dlc (1 on each play through) and 1 from knox on play through
Milimanci
I noticed you can only get the backpack upgrades if you're on playthrough 1. If you rescue a claptrap on playthrough 2, you'll just get some mods. So make sure you're on playthrough 1.
