Shadow Slayer63
Sonic & Knuckles Achievement guide Overview -Difficulty 4/10 Depending on skill level -Estimated time to get all of the achievements: 3-6 hours Depending on skill. -Number of playthroughs required to get all achievements : 2 -Offline achievements:12 (200 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg) -Online achievements: 0 (0 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg) Now lets start with the guide http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1142/-UEHiA==.jpgSonic Finale 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Complete the game as Sonic. Simply do as it says. This game is not that difficult, just complete the game with sonic for this achievement. If you need help check out this youtube playlist. Or if you need to see a picture of all the maps, http://www.soniccenter.org/maps/sonic_&_knuckles And you don't have to beat the whole game for the achievement, just Death Egg Zone. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1142/-KH-Gw==.jpgKnuckles Finale 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Complete the game as Knuckles. Again, simply do as it says. It is almost the same exact thing as Sonic's, just complete the game as Knuckles. You only need to beat Super Mecha Sonic in the SKY SANCTUARY ZONE and the achievement should pop up if you do not want to do the whole game Here is a video walkthrough playlist for those who need help. Click Here Or if you need to see s picture of the maps http://www.soniccenter.org/maps/sonic_&_knuckles Credit to YeaItsArronBaby for the maps. NOTE: The player is using cheats, but it is just like Inf rings and lives, so he still plays through the whole level. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1142/+QMU4g==.jpgPlease Continue 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Earn a Continue in either a Bonus or Special Stage. Earn a certain amount of score in a bonus stage. To get into a bonus stage, either have 50 rings and when you hit a signpost (the thing that give you a checkpoint), stars should come for a few seconds on top of it, just jump into it. There should be a lottery, if you are lucky you will get one that gives you a lot of rings. I believe sonic gives you the most, but a tip is save it right when it says bonus stage so you can get as much try's as you need. After the lottery, you will jump out. Don't hit the "GOAL's" until you hit a lot of stuff to get more score. If you remember getting chaos emeralds in Sonic the hedgehog (The first one), after you jump out of the lottery it is the same thing as Sonic the Hedgehog 1. When you rack up most of the points get into the goal and hopefully, you will get the achievement. Way No. 2: Through out any level, look for a giant ring, and jump into it, this is also how you get chaos emeralds. So when you are playing the special stage, you will have to collect a certain amount of blue balls, the blue balls will come in chunks after you hit all the blue ones in a chunk, rings will be there pick them up. If you can't do this in the beginning of the game, keep getting all of the chaos emeralds, because as you get more challenges specifically, do it when you have six chaos emeralds, because there will start to get more blue balls, that means more rings + more score. That is how you can unlock this achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1142/+OPscQ==.jpgGettin' Super 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Collect all seven Chaos Emeralds. For this achievement collect, all seven Chaos Emeralds. In almost every level, there should be giant rings that you can jump into. When you jump into these giant rings, you will get into a bonus stage. FIRST THING YOU SHOULD DO IS SAVE THE GAME!!! The reason why you should save the game is because if you hit a red ball you loose, and you can't try again. So if you mess up, press quit and load again so you get another try. First of all there are four types of balls in these challenges: Blue balls: What you need to hit, There should be a number on the left top of the screen on how much blue balls are left White balls: They will send you running backwards, so try to avoid them, if you do hit them press the left control stick up until you start moving forward again Gold balls: These are here to help you jump over the red balls, so if you are looking for so blue balls because you can't find the rest of the blue balls, go through them they will send you somewhere far away Red balls: Avoid touching these, they are the things that make you loose. They are all over the place so watch out and focus on not touching them. If you do touch one quit and re-load like i told you to do. As the achievement says, there are seven Chaos Emeralds. That mean's you have to do the challenges 7 times, and each time get's even harder so good luck with this achievement. If this does not help here is a guide Click here to see the guide And here is a visual walkthrough [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0rE7rK0Y94&feature=related]YouTube - Sonic and Knuckles - Sonic all Emerald Speedrun - MushRoom Hill Zone - Part 1/2[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LVT0fTmmkA&NR=1]YouTube - Sonic and Knuckles - Sonic all Emerald Speedrun - MushRoom Hill Zone - Part 2/2[/ame] http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1142/+sLlxA==.jpgChaos Emerald 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Collect a Chaos Emerald. Isaccard
There is at least 50-60 golden rings in the game.... Right and video locations of the first eight are all that's needed. The video's you posted aren't helpful at all and don't give the location of the rings, they're just someone getting the emeralds in the special stage. 3 guides up and none can seem to do this. ImmortalArbiter
Use this to find the Emeralds: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox360/file/971809/18497 Very easy, I had them all at the end of Mushroom Hill Zone Act
Isaccard
Nice, thanks. Found something in video form for those who prefer it like myself. Everyone's been posting video's and guides for the SUPER Emeralds (playing S3&K) and not the CHAOS Emeralds. (playing S&K only.) Invader999
You do realize your videos for "Knuckles Finale" is just someone using cheats to get through the game quickly. The guy even admits he's using cheats and he tells you what cheats they are. Just stupid on your part not to look for someone doing it the legit way. YeaItsArronBaby
Hi, i didn't realise you already had these videos on here. It took me all day to find these decent quality ones. I posted them on the other guide and thought i should let you know of a nice little map i found that shows the giant ring locations perfectly. If you can use this in your guide, then do because this helped me so much more than the speed run videos. Good job on the guide too. Heres the link to the maps; http://www.soniccenter.org/maps Cheers, Arron
