Actually they can. I just got a refund for an arcade game today, a full 1600 MSP added to my account.

he had to have gotten it for minecraft. they were handing out refunds for ppl who had bought the game day 1 because something wasnt posted in the description (spit sceen is only available for hdtv players) and ppl used this as an opportunity to get they're 1600 back and to get a free game.

its not like he bought a game he disliked, or wasnt complete and he just called up microsoft demanded a refund and got it.

I stand by my original statement. Read the terms of service before you purchase anything off the dashboard, because they rarely give you refunds.

What's more important is if your country's consumer protection laws are on your side or Microsoft's. My country's laws don't give a fuck about Microsoft's little "no refunds" policy - they have to give me my money back if I have a valid complaint. For example, I once forced Microsoft to refund every XBLA game I own because my 360 broke and they wouldn't work offline on the new console. This was before license transfer and all that, of course.

I feel it's pretty important for people to know things like this and not just blindly believe greedy corporations.

i like you "sticking it to the man," but how did you do on getting a refund to this game?

You're pretty much signing a contract when downloading a game nowadays. Digital stuff is too expensive to be giving consumers an ultimatum.

im not sure if you would call it an ultimatum, my vocabulary isnt that broad making it difficult for me to think of a better word to describe it.

Meltinzone quite frankly, and OBVIOUSLY doesn't like the game, and yeah does feel ripped off. I've been ripped off on many of purchases, specially in gaming. Camera sucks, there are def. glitches, but the game is solid. Great combos, excellent achievements, (Unreal Engine enough said) gore, testosterone, and a good story.

If you dont like the game, why waste so much time talking about it and debating it? Move onto something else if your truly a old school gamer like me. Times have changed, games have changed, everything is almost released buggy.. some more than others. Get off these forums nub.

Unhappy I am disappoint

The OP makes good points. The game is certainly not worth the amount of MSP I shelled out for it. I really did have high hopes for the game after playing the demo, but I was disappointed by many elements of it. To note: the hack-and-slash was entirely generic, the range of melee weaponry overly simplistic (3 categories: High-Power/Low-Speed, Medium-Power/Medium-Speed, and Low-Power/High-Speed) with the crossbow not being much of an addition to the arsenal either, and the dark overtones only hid the poor graphics. Further, (and this is more a personal peeve), everyone kept saying "family" when they really only meant Crom's wife.
The group combat was a little frustratingly difficult when you would have a horde of enemies ambling towards you, and just to get close enough to one you put yourself in range of the one, two, or billion others in the group who are charged up and just about to strike. Additionally, the camera angles did not help either. When you're busy rolling around trying to isolate a foe and you can't see your character because you're looking at him from UNDERNEATH THE DAMNED FLOOR then it's a little aggravating.
Now, don't get me wrong, I certainly did enjoy playing the game, and was glad to have bought it. The story line was somewhat engrossing as well. But Bloodforge was by no means worth a whole 1200 MSP.

The CAMERA is my biggest problem with the game. Yes I love looking at my ankles, when the game auto pans to the floor. Having the camera view obscured by grass, stone walls and other scenery is such a pain. Especially if you're being attacked by a horde of enemies.

Also there is a FLIP GLITCH. It happens a lot. There will be times when I can't flip at all.Try fighting Wodan (Wutang as I call him) with no flipping >__<.
To fix it, pause the game and go to battle skills.Cycle through the weapons then go back to the game. Everything should be fine now.

Other than maybe one or two more issues I like this game.

Been playing this off and on for a while now. It's boring as heck. Repetitive, too. I understand why people might like it if they're really into the art style (I'm not; hate it) or if they like fighting/hack-n-slash games like this.

I want a refund. Gimme my money back and you can take my achievements away from my gamerscore. Lol.
