Boiler Room / Village

I'm kinda stuck in this room. Apparently there is still a secret here, but I don't know how to get it. I guess it's a trigger combination, just like in the portrait room, but I don't see any meaningful clues.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

as you change dimentions theres what looks like a scan code on the wall I have a blackberry tryed the code on that but didnt pick up. If its not that then it would just be the map I guess.

Pretty sure it is not a qr code since thre is not a square in the top left and right corners nor the bottom left like all the other qr codes I have seen

I'm trying to reverse engineer the solution to the boiler room puzzle combined with some of what i've gleaned from the classroom, but I'm not 100% positive. I'm going on the assumption that each directional shape is paired with a number corresponding to it's order in the code. So if the code is Up, RT, Down, Jump, etc..., than up would have a 1, jump a 3, etc... Based on the poster in the boiler room, this is what it looks like to me:

0 = Box

1 = U

2 = "="

3 = n

4 = >

5 = '_|

6 = 8

7 = '_'

8 =

9 =

10 = 4 dots

8 and 9 are eluding me at the moment though.

I think 8 would be two dots on the left side and 9 would be two dots on the bottom.

How i think it works depend on which of the 4 lines in the center of the square are present. The line going up is 1, the line going right is 2, the line going down is 3, the line going up is 4. When there are multiple lines the value is the sum of the individual line values.

What there pictures don't show is an 8th symbol that's only visible while you're rotating the room that would have the symbols for 8 and RT.

I know that since I already know the code now it doesn't really matter, but I just can't figure out how this was solved. I know that they're numbers and symbols but do the numbers correspond to the order the button should be pressed? If so, the symbols would need to be rotated. But then the number symbols wouldn't make sense.

What I've just typed no doubt makes no sense and even though I've entered the code I just want to know how it was solved. Its really aggravating being so dumb I can't figure out how it was done.

The numbers are the order to press these in. #8 is hidden behind a boiler you can make on the symbol when the room is spinning but you'd need to be in first person to see the number. These symbols are in the left to right notation instead of the top down found in other puzzles.
