Watson bros
What is in your opinion the hardest achievement on this game? For me it has to be Orpheus, that achievement was so so annoying and i hate the mission Cortana to boot.
gskillz99
overkill for me. took me forever to just get my 995 up to 1000.
Rifle Elite
None. Lol , im just very lucky with the achievements. I got Two for One by accident and i had a Killtacular with a Sword.
vulkean
I got Two for One by accident and i had a Killtacular with a Sword. Exactly the same as me , although I did strugle with Orpheus, i failed by less than 1000 points three times .
MapleMire
Gotta be Killing Frenzy. Hardest online achievement in halo 3.
forspeedn21
It has to be Two for One. Takes luck and timing to get it.
hellview
id say mongoose mowdown as its the only online 1 i need, just cant seem to get it came close so many times!
gskillz99
id say mongoose mowdown as its the only online 1 i need, just cant seem to get it came close so many times! that sucks, this is the third achievement i got in this game (first- graduate) (second- up close and personal)
laundryman
Steppin Razor. Simply because you can't shoot your gun (in an FPS no less) AND have to kill 3 people
TheTenthArmy
Overkill took ages for me to get. And I struggled with the 2 meta games where you need 50K untill I figured out which skulls to use
Lancer Evolution
Overkill period. I don't get why Steppin' Razor and Killing Frenzy is so hard. I got Steppin' Razor in Swords on Guardian (Charging in when there's two/three/group of people fighting). I got Killing Frenzy in Slayer on High Ground (Camped on the Spartan Laser place with Sniper/Laser/Carbine/Mauler or Sticks). I haven't tried getting Mongoose Mowdown. I just want Overkill for Commando Helmet and Ascetic Shoulders. I personally like Elite armors better and there's not of elites.
allekpastrana
Killing Frenzy on Lone Wolves. I have gotten a Killing Frenzy before in team but not by myself.
sinsix
Mongoose Mowdown. That vehicle sucks for killing. I used to think that Stepin' Razor was bad, but then they put up a 'swords' playlist. I got 7 in-a-row to take care of that one and overkill.
gtdroptop
Most of the multi-player achievements are really easy in non-slayer games: Killing Frenzy, Mongoose Mowdown, Two for One. You know where everyone's going to be, just hang far enough away and don't try for the objective. e.g., in KotH just hang back with a sniper and pick people off until you get enough for Killing Frenzy. It's unlikely anybody will care that you're killing people, because you're losing the game. Same with Two for One, just keep trying until you get two people in the hill together. For Mongoose Mowdown, just cruise around on a non-slayer game hitting people from behind who are running towards the objectives. The meta-games are ridiculously easier if you play with a friend. It's hard on about half of them for you to both get enough points. But have the player who's the Arbiter play for the points. That way everytime you run out of BR ammo, the player who's Master Chief can suicide and give you a fresh BR. BR's get much easier headshots than Carbines and are effective against all but the pure flood forms. I found the hardest achievements to be the ones where you need matchmaking to give you a specific setup. i.e., Steppin Razor requires a sword...after my first 3 games, I never saw another Swords gametype, so waiting for a map with a sword is a huge pain. Overkill requires 4 other people to kill, but so many people drop in non-Slayer games that you often don't even have 4 other people in the game. exorr
Steppin Razor. Simply because you can't shoot your gun (in an FPS no less) AND have to kill 3 people Got this in a swords match on Epitaph. Was PUMPED!!
Scubbasteve223
Two For One by far, being a person who doesnt really use the spartan laser that much, this one was a pain in the ass for me to get. Finally was just in the right place at the right time.
Pointless Dan
Overkill has to be the hardest as most ranked matches only have 4 to 5 players and so you have to kill all, or almost all of the other team to get it.
fletcher2989
two for one has to be the hardest, then overkill....the metagame achievements were a joke, so easy....
Tavvy
Mongose Mowden was probably one of the most annoying achievements but two for one was quite hard as well!
Tatanko
Easily Overkill. Killing Frenzy, while "somewhat" difficult on Lone Wolves, can be done by camping. Overkill, however, is sheer luck.
Munsie
Beating the first mission. I tried it on Easy so many times and still it took me like 3 hours. Hehe. I'd say either Steppin' Razor, or maybe Two for One. Steppin' was only hard because I got 1k long before the Swords playlists were introduced. Two for One was quite tricky, but I use the laser a lot (See H3 emblem) so it just happened eventually.
VooDootheBoss
killing frenzy cuz it was my last lone wolves achivement
mlodoss
Overkill, because just when I was FINALLY about to get it (the last time I played halo 3) my xbox360 froze, and it didn't count me for it..... Which is also what made me stop playing Halo
Carlp
I believe mongoose mowdown isnt that hard! Just do it on High Ground driving down the hill. I guess I was lucky, but I got it on the first try (no joke) All I need now is 341 (Three for one) and Overkill. Both of them are really hard! XxChamilitaryxX
my hardest achievemet is two for one cuz every time i try to kill with the laser someone assinates me... so frusturating:mad:
