Lordvader178
Rundown or Unique one of a kind weapons. This will contain Spoilers. SpineleSS asked me to do this in alpha order, and when using word, it changed text and you can't change back in 360a. So sorry for the small text. I CAN NOT put DAM values, because the DAM changes depending on what condition it is in, so please stop asking . A3-21's Plasma Rifle - Plasma Rifle Do the quest "Replicated Man" and offer to kill Zimmer. The android will give this rifle to you. Alien Blaster - Unique Blaster Head to Green Pastures Disposal site. Now head west from there and every 30 seconds check your radio. You should get a beta signal. Head a bit more west and you should find a crashed alien space ship. Look for the alien body, and the blaster should be right next to it. Ant Sting - Knife Go to Canterbury Commons to see a little scene with two weirdos. You will get a quest to end the madness. Go the the Antagonizer's lair and find her. Tell her you will join her team. Go to the Robco factory south on Canterbury and head inside. Find the Mechanist and kill him and take his suit. Go back to the Antagonizer, give the suit to her, and this weapon is yours. Blackhawk - .44 Magnum Start the quest Agatha's Song. Find the Violin. Now before heading outside, in one of the men's (or women's, not sure) bathroom's has a piece of sheet music. It’s in the rightmost stall. Now head back to Agatha and give her the violin, then the music. MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR A REWARD!! She will give you the Blackhawk, a scoped .44 magnum. Board Of Education - 2X4 Head to the Clifftop Shacks, right at the top of the map, nearly in the center. This is a Super Mutant Outpost. Kill the Mutants and free the captive. The board should be inside the shack nearest to the bridge. It's on the skeleton on the bed. The Break - Pool Cue Head to Paradise Falls and find the pool table. The weapon should be lying on top. If it's not, it's on a local slaver. Burnmaster - Unique Blaster Taken from wiki: "To find this weapon, first go to the Falls Church/Mason District Metro Station. Don't go up the stairs to the second level like you would to get to Hubris Comics, but stay down and go into the train tunnels. It will curve around past a couple of ghouls and there will be an entrance to a utility tunnel. Go in there. Follow that until you get to where the tunnel goes down into the water. Go into the water and then make a left through a broken passage in the tunnel. Swim for a bit until you find a ramp that goes up. Continue down a hallway filled with radioactive barrels and 2-3 ghouls. At the end are 4 ammo boxes filled with flamer ammo and the Burnmaster" Butch's Toothpick - Switchblade Go and do the Trouble On The Homefront quest. Butch will talk to you half way through. You can kill him and gain this item. Or you can choose to let the people out of the Vault. Butch will head to Megaton and reside in the Brass Lantern. You can kill him there and take it or take him as a follower and wait till he dies, then get it. Clover's Cleaver - Knife Head to paradise Falls and talk to Eulogy. Offer to buy Clover as a companion. This is her main weapon, either kill her or trade equptment. Infact, just waltz inside and kill her and take it. Eugene - Gatling Gun Finish the quest Reilly's Rangers. You pick this as a reward. If you pick the armor (which you should) you can pickpocket this of Brick. If she see's you, run out the door. You don't want her to die. Experimental MIRV - Fatman First off, find the National Guard Depot at the Northeast section of DC. Now you need to find 5 tapes. Head to the VAPL-58 Power Station which is SW of Arefu. You should see power lines going to the North. Follow these until you get to a tower surrounded by a barricade. Enter this barricade and kill the wastelanders. On the bookshelf should be the 1st tape. Head to Big Town. Then head North to the cemetery (which is a large white building). This area is crawling with Super Mutants. Head inside the building and on a brown podium next to a door should be the tape. Head to the Grisly Diner which is north of The Temple Of The Union. The place is surrounded by mines. Head inside then head out the back door. The 3rd tape is on a desk at the back. You can find some Mini-nukes here as well, and lots of ammo. Head to Rockbreaker's Last Gas, Northwest of Little Lamplight. Head to the abandoned shack at the top of the cliff to the west "see Victory Rifle". The 4th tape is on a table inside. Head to Anchorage Memorial, in the river between both sections of DC. From there, head north to a broken down truck and a tent. Inside the tent is the 5th tape. Now listen to each tape. Head back to the depot. You will notice a door that is locked for now. If i were you, go get a follower, this place is full of Sentry Bots and Gutsy's. Head through to the National Guard Training Wing then through the Office's. Eventually you should find a door that leads back to the depot, take it. You will be on the top floor. Turn left and there should be an electrical switch on the wall. Pull it. Jump back down and head to the previous locked door. A sentry bot will arrive so take it out. Head inside and use the switch on the wall to open up the armoury. You will arrive inside the armoury. There is ammo and weapon abound in here, so take everything you can. There is a large door ahead of you. Access the terminal and put in the code you got from the tape's. This opens up a bunker with even more ammo, and the MIRV. Fawkes Super Sledge - Super Sledge Get Fawkes as a follower and trade equipment. Fisto! - Power Fist Head to the MDPL-13 Power Station. It's north of Minefield. If you fast travel you will spawn outside a house. Go into the factory "not the house" and head all the way up the stairs. You will arrive in an office. The Fisto! is sitting on a desk next to a computer. Highwayman's Friend - Tire Iron Go to Canterbury Commons and head behind the bar type of place. Find a building that says "Door to Dominic and Machete's House". It's near the Brahmin pen. If your facing the bar, that large stone structure to the right is the house, but the entrance is at the back. Go inside, and the weapon should be on a shelf. Jack - Ripper After you finish Raven Rock, go waste a few in game days. Then head to the Deathclaw Sanctuary. You should see Enclave fighting a Deathclaw. Kill the survivors. Now go somewhere else and waste another few in game days, then head back. The same thing should happen. Now go inside the sanctuary and in the southernmost part should be an Enclave officer's body. This weapon is on him. The reason doing this is once you kill everything, the Deathclaw takes longer to spawn then the the Enclave. That means while your away the Enclave can enter without worrying about a Deathclaw. The Enclave officer should enter and be killed. If you entered first off, no Enclave would be there and an event would be scripted as the Enclave would never enter the cave. The weapon is not even worth it either. The Kneecapper - Sawn Off Head to Girdershade in the Southwest of the map. Kill Ronald Larren, the only man there. This is on his corpse. Lincoln's Repeater - Unique Magnum + Hunting Rifle Taken from the wiki: "Upon entering the Museum of American History, make your way to the Lower Levels, which is located on the left as you enter the big room with the giant prehistoric animals. (Be aware that there are a large number of ghouls in here. Make sure you have a good weapon and possibly some health before you attempt this.) Once in there, walk up the left staircase and go into the room filled with empty (or destroyed) displays and enter the offices door on the left side of the room in the back. Make your way through the offices until you come to a large, open room with a turret on the ceiling. Walk up the staircase that is against a wall in the front of the room. Upon reaching the top, you should see a giant hole in the wall. Once you reach the top, however, more Ghouls are waiting for you along with a Glowing Ghoul. This guy is pretty tough if you're a low level so make sure you have a strong weapon. Go in giant hole, and in furthermost cubicle on the left you should find the rifle waiting inside a display case on a desk. Alternatively, you can just walk by them all without being attacked if you are wearing the Ghoul Mask." Note: Once you enter the office section, head up the first set of stairs. Turn and then go into the first room on your right. In here you can find Lincoln's hat. Edited December 18, 2008 by Lordvader178
Lordvader178
Mesmetron - Unique Just start the slaver quest where you have to enslave civilians, and you get this weapon. Miss Launcher - Missle Launcher Head to Fort Independence. Talk to one of the people there and ask for a job. They will want supplies. Bring in lots of Enclave armor to be accepted inside the main base. Inside a locker is this weapon. Occam's Razor - Knife Before you start, deck yourself out with lots of ammo, ammunition and Stimpack's. You have been warned. Go and find Fort Bannister. It is directly west of Vault 101. You will arrive at Jury Station. Keep going and east and you will find this. For a start, this place is crawling with Talon Company merc's. These guys have missile launchers and flamethrowers and it's a big place. There is also a Mr Gutsy as well. Use an assault Rifle to clear the place and a pulse nade to kill Gutsy. When you are done, sleep in a tent to get your health. Now find a run down building a bit to the east. Down a steep hill, there should be a tent. Head inside and go down the manhole. Now keep heading through this massive base killing everything you see until you get to a top floor. There will be a guy named Commander Jabsco. He is really tough and wear's metal armor and uses a missile launcher. Take him out and take out the dwarf Talon Company men. Now search Jabsco's body for the weapon. You can also loot a key to his safe. When you have it, jump down to the floor below and find his safe and footlocker. There is heaps of ammo and weapons inside. Ol' Painless- Hunting Rifle Head to The Republic Of Dave in the very top Northeastern part of the map. Inside Dave's house, head into his office to the left of the entrance. The weapon is in his safe, you can kill him and take the key if you want. If you want, you can start Crowley's quest and get the key's for him. Once you get Dave's key, it can be used to open the chest. Plunkett's Valid Points - Spiked Knuckles Head to Arlington Cemetray which is in the top west DC area. Once in the cemetary, find Arlington House and head inside. Kill the resident inside and take it off his body. If he's not in there, your out of luck. Protectron's Gaze - Not sure Go see "Ant's Sting" but do the opposite. Repellent Stick - Unique Melee To get this, do the wasteland survival guide until you have to use the item on Mole Rats. Complete the secondary objective by killing 10 Mole Rats to gain this item. You can also buy it off her if you don't do the optional quest. Reservist's Rifle - Sniper Rifle Head to the Dickerson Tarbarnacle Chapel. It's to the east of the Deathclaw Sanctuary. There is an NPC called "Drifter"on the top floor. Killing him earns you this rifle. Rolling Pin - Unique Melee (There are onlt a set amount in game, but more then 1) Head to Moma Dolce's east pf Grayditch. This weapon is on a table somewhere inside. The Shocker - Power Fist Taken from the Wiki: "Found in the Flooded metro. You can use the entrance west of Arlington Library, but the one north has shorter distance to the weapon. However don't use the one north of the citadel, even though it has the same name it doesn't lead to the same tunnel." I am not going to bother finding it, anything to do with Metro is too much of a hassle. Smuggler's End - Laser Pistol Once you gain access to the Citadel, look around for Lyon's wall safe and this weapon is inside. The safe is located in B-Ring. Stabhappy - Knife Head to Bethseda runis, directly north of Super Duper Mart. Now keep heading north to a raider outpost. These raiders are surrounding a house. Kill the raiders and head inside the house, called "The Raid Shack". The first raider you see inside should have this weapon on them. If not, keep killing the raiders inside until one of them drops this weapon. Sydney's 10mm Ultra SMG - SMG Easy. Start the Quest Stealing Independance. Head to where it tells you to go. Talk to her and she will start following you. You can kill her. An easier way without bad karma is to lure her over a mine in the same room. The weapon is on her corpse. Or if you want the hard but good karma way, go to the Statesmen Hotel and find a holodisk on one of the desk's. Give it to her and she will give you the SMG. The Tenderizer - Sledgehammer http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=105353 I bring you to my thread. I am still trying to obtain this weapon. You need to unlock the safe under the desk in the medical bay to get the door component. Thien use the component on the broken door in the service quarters and the weapon is inside. Trouble is, i don't have enough lockpicking skill. The Terrible Shotgun - Shotgun Head on over to Evergreen Mills which is in the far west part of the map. It's surrounded by raiders. Kill them all then head inside. Look for the place that says "Evergreen Mills Bazaar" and head inside. Follow all the ramps as you go and and kill all the raiders. If you take a right once your at the top, you'll come to a store with a trader named Smiling Jack. Trade with him and whatever. Now take at your fists and sucker punch him ONCE. He will put out his gun. Take out an Assault Rifle and go into Vats and target his gun. Keep shooting it until he drops it. Now pick it up and leg it out of Evergreen Bazaar. This way Smiling Jack is still alive and you have The Terrible Shotgun. Not sure if he will tend to you after that though. Test it out on the Super Mutant Behemoth in the cage if you havn't already killed it Vampire Edge - Chinese Officer's Sword Head to Meresti Trainyard and follow it until you see a family member. Remember this location. Go and talk to 3dog and talk to him about the family, which he will then give you a key to the weapons closet. Head back and go inside the trainyard and to to Vance. Head to the Family Cloister and use the key on the closest to obtain this. Don't ask me how to get this as i personally havn't done this, but that's the supposed method to get it. Another option is to kill Vance and take it. Vengence - laser Gatling Rifle In the very southeast part of Deathclaw Sanctuary. It's lying next to a HUGE pool of blood. Like i mean a pool, you can almost swim in it. Next to it is raider and Mercenary body. More specific: In the southeast corner is a section on it's own. It's in the center of this southeast section, and just a bit northeast. Victory Rifle - Sniper Rifle Head to Rockbreaker's Last Gas. It's northeast of Little Lamplight and directly south of Deathclaw Sanctuary. Once you find it, use the fast travel option. Look west to find a cabin on top of a hill. Work you way up there and head inside. Directly in front of you is a Very Hard locker. It's in the locker. I Love those mini radroaches though. I would go so far as to call them big cockroaches xD. Wazer Rifle - Lazer Rifle Head to Little Lamplight and find a kid called Biwwy (black kid wearing a baseball cap). He will mention a rifle to you. You can buy it for 500 caps. If you have good barter skills, you can get it for 250. If you have the Child At Heart perk, you can get it for free. Xuanlong Assault Rifle - Chinese Assault Rifle Possibly the strongest Assault Rifle in the game. Enter the Museum of Technology. There is a terminal straight ahead of you. Go over to it and pick the option "0000". You will receive a note. Go out of the terminal and head back in. It will have changed to "0001". Click that, then click "0019". Then head into the next section of the Museum. You need to look for terminals called "Museum Information". One is on the upper level of some stairs near an entrance to a hallway. This one is next to another terminal, it's the one on the right. Another is on the lower level somewhere near the base of a rocket. For the next one you find, i should say "0002". Click that, then pick "0053". For the third terminal it should say "0003". Click that then click "0113". Then that will have changed to "Get password". Click that. Then head into the upper level of the west wing and into the control room (with the turret security). Use the terminal in here to unlock the safe and get the items. The last terminal said to meet at Jury Street Metro Station. If you want, you can look around the museum for a gun cabinet, the key to it was in the safe you just opened. The cabinet is in the Planetarium. It has 3 entrance ways, one of which being a small office with the cabinet. Now head to Jury Street Metro Station. Now go into the diner. It's called "Dots Diner". Head around the counter. Remember in the messages it talked about a guy named Prime? Well now he is laying on a table, dead, in the diner. The rifle is on his body. Along with 500 caps, lots of Aid items and a few Frags. Zhu-Rong v418 Chinese Pistol - Chinese Pistol My god this weapon is a bitch to get. Head to LOB enterprises. It's right next to Falls Church which is east of Greyditch. Now head into the east wing i think it is. Find the CEO office on the second floor, it's the one that has the CEO terminal on a desk, and possibly the neatest of the rooms. What you need to do is unlock the cabinet next to the computer for the key. After that, check the desk for some items. Next to the desk is a box you can use the key to open, this gun is in that box. It's alot harder then it sounds. OPERATION: ANCHORAGE These 3 weapons can be obtained after completing the DLC. Each of them are located within the armory. Lordvader178
THE PITT Most, if not all the special weapons can be gotten while going for the Mill Worker achievement. However, the Man Opener is found on the top level of the robot facility in the scrapyard. When you enter the steelyard, walk straight ahead until you see a fence on your right. Follow the fence to a building with robots outside. Go inside and follow it to the very top level. On the bed next to a skeleton is this weapon. It is also the location of a few ingots. BROKEN STEEL Most of the standard weapon introduced in this pack can be obtained on the new enemies. Callahan's Magnum - Magnum To get this weapon, when you decide what to blow up in Adams Air Base, chose The Citadel. Once it's blown up, head over back to the smoldering crater it once was. There should be a door to a hidden office. Inside the safe is this weapon. Personally, i don't think wiping out the whole Brotherhood is worth this, but whatever. Precision Gatling Laser - Gatling Laser In Adams Air Base, it is the weapon wielded by the Armory Master. Rapid Torch Flamer - Flamer Before you head over to the mobile base, look on your compass for a blank arrow, near the Mobile Base. It's quite a ways walk but eventually you will reach a storage facility. Inside, you will find this weapon on a desk with a bundle of ammo. Slo-Burn Flamer - Flamer Inside the Mobile Base, head to the Deathclaw area. On the top level are a few small offices. In one of the offices is this weapon, next to a Deathclaw in stasis. kingkai93
you forgot fawkes' super sledge, which you can get off fawkes by trading equipment once he gets the laser gatling gun, or you can kill him before that, but i would advise not to, because he is one powerful partner to have

Method
You also need to add the Mesmatron (sp?). Although not a lethal weapon per say, it is still a unique weapon. This weapon is attained by traveling to Paradise Falls for the first time. When you try to enter, Grouse will stop you and deny entry if you're too good. Offer to round up some slaves for him and he'll give you the Mesmatron to make it easier to get the collar on your targets. You can then kill Grouse if you don't want to be evil. NOTE: If you shoot someone with the Mesmatron that already has a collar on, their head will explode. I didn't realize there were so many unique weapons, you may need to have a mod add a post for you so you can continue to add all the new ones being mentioned. The first raider you see inside should have this weapon on them. If not, keep killing the raiders inside until one of them drops this weapon The shack is east of bethesda Ruins (well east of the bethesda metro entrance which is the northern most entrance in bethesda...) Archonfury
these are hands down the most powerful weapons in the game...vengeance for example, the gatling laser, did around 150 dmg or so for me when i picked it up in deathclaw sanctuary, and the terrible shotgun does around 75 or so damage as a shotgun.... also nice guide, zhu rong ftw! Lordvader178
Thanks, i appreciate your thanks . These weapons are easily the best. Alien Blaster is one of the most powerful guns in the game. Vengence, while it eats ammo like a fat kid eats pacakes, is hands down the most powerful energy weapon in the game. The Xunalong is hard to get, but Epic Win. Most of those weapons are worth getting, except for maybe Jack, and like one or two others.

Aelarin
Rolling Pin Head to Moma Dolce's east pf Grayditch. This weapon is on a table somewhere inside. I found one of these in a suitcase inside Overseer Braun's office in Vault 112, so I don't think it's a unique weapon. EDIT: I also just found one in the Taft Tunnels, so now I'm sure it's not unique. Edited December 15, 2008 by Aelarin

I was just thinking that I don't want to make a special trip, especially being as early in the game as I am, for a weapon and find out it's not that great. I don't have many locations found yet and can't just fast travel to a place to grab something. Don't want to waste too much time on something I don't really want. Thats all I meant.
