Can't say I've ever tried to find out. I only really check my friends gamerscores so I haven't encountered anyone that old to be honest.

I've heard salazaar is in his late 40's

As a joke....maybe you could make an award called geezer gamer....Like a tribute to those over 50 similar to the gamer girl award. Only put like an intellivision or something on it.

Not sure what her gamerscore is, but there's always Old Grandma Hardcore--

There's some NSFW language on that site, just for a heads up to anyone.

Oldest person I know personally on my list is 28.

Of people I've seen or talked to online I've talked to an older gentleman from England who helped serve in the Gulf War.

My friends list ranges from 21-40, but I've known a few in their 50s. (None even close to 25k Gamerscore though, most not even on Live). Wasn't there an article about the 70+ year old guy looking forward to Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising?

In any case, in my experience, there's a fair few folk out there who were already past their teens and gaming in the 70s still going strong today, anything beyond that seems to be less common. The "average gamer" seems to certainly have shifted from teenagers to the 18-30 group since I was a lad though, or at least there's a lot more being targeted at that age bracket.

E-glass raised to Creech though.

My in laws are in their mid 50's and bought a 360 for christmas after seeing me on mine. They only have about 3k GS but they're getting there,
Watching my mother in law swear at the screen as she dies on GOW2 is funny as F**k.

Intellivision? Too new of a toy, should be a couple of rocks or something. =p

It occurs to me that we should have a site award for gamers over 50 . . . we give them to girls for being girls . . . and while I think girls are infinitely more awesome from a bias perspective, 50 year old gamers deserve recognition too.

Can we get one for 30+ as well? hehe
