countdown glitch was fixed with the last patch as Ginjasy said you will need to do it legit or rubberband with a friend.

Question Vegas Champion... all missions in a row or not?

Do you have to play the entire cooperative story mode in one session, or can you skip around and piecemeal it? I could have sworn I've hit every story mission, but not in sequence and not at the same time, and don't have the Vegas Champion achievement.

Question Realistic Story

On single player story, I've noticed that when you start the game on realistic and then leave and come back (load last checkpoint), it resets to normal difficulty.
If I keep loading last checkpoint as I work through the game, will I get the achievement for beating it on realistic? Or do I need to select each level individually and beat it on realisitc?

Thanks

You won't get it mate. You need to make sure play through a full chapter at a time so the difficulty doesn't reset. You will know if it has reset because you will have 3 grenades and your crosshair will go red when over enemies.

COuld we play the game scene by scene in order to unlock the "legend" achievement ? Or must we do it it chapter by chapter ?

Best of the Best40 Achieve the rank of Elite
** The best way is to do the coundown glitch. Selct coop story and map countdown. Put the difficulty on Realistic and when the mission starts go to the elevator doors and hold the left trigger to go through the doors. You will get 200 points in approximately 46 seconds.
i can still get pass the door by holding the left trigger even after the patch but i sill have to play the fuill level and even then i only get 50 points.
is that all the patch did? was to stop you gettting so many points?

I dunno if anyone had mentioned this yet, but if they have, someone should get on changing the guide. After the patch, you don't make 200 points on "Countdown" anymore... You only make 50. No matter what. It's much faster just completing LVU over and over.

So at least one person mentioned it. And yes. This is what the patch did. Just do LVU in a player match. Set all the slots to private and invite your friends in. Beat it (It takes 3 minutes) and you get a quick 600. With the countdown glitch, you could make the same 600 points only 45 seconds faster than by beating LVU regularily. It's not that big of a loss.

It has to be. Because today I beat all the missions on realistic with low density (don't know if it has to be at least medium or high) with my cousin and he got the all T-Hunt missions complete one, but neither of us got the achievement for beating them all on realistic. Although I did reset the console when we had to eat dinner and then started again from where we were... It was still on realistic and he still got the other achievement.

Has anyone else confirmed this yet? Do you still have to beat the T-Hunt missions in Single Player Mode to get the Veteran and Elite Hunter Achievements (Splitscreen T-Hunt)?

Perhaps someone could help me with this (and I do apologize, I read around as much as I could, but couldn't find any specific references).

The multiple achievements that are listed in this guide for the ranked matches all have the instructions as "invite a friend" but, as we all know, the ranked matches do not allow you to invite a friend. Is there a way to, for instance, create a ranked match with 2 slots and then have someone search for that game and then join it? Basically, how can we work around the ranked matches without actually playing a "real" ranked match?

I understand there might not be a way around that one, but the way that this guide makes it seem is that there is, and I was just curious if I'm not smarter than my machine

Thanks

You can see the host's name when looking through the games. It's next to the info at the bottom when looking down the list. Just tell your friend what type of game it is and they should find you really easyily.

Cheesed off!!

Siege Specialist
Survivor
Lone Wolf
Team Survivalist
Team Champion

The guide recommends what to do to gain these achievements but does not state it is a REQUIREMENT that you must HOST these games to get it! (The achievement doesn’t state this either)
I spent many hours winning the different game types over and over but not getting the achievement until I hosted the match!

Siege Specialist15 Leading contributor of kills for the Defenders in a winning Attack & Defend ranked match
* Set up a player match on attack and defend for 3 minutes. Kill your friend a few times and simply just win . If your playing 1v1 all you have to do is win with more kills than your friend.

You cannot setup a player match for any of these games as they are all ranked only and you cannot invite friends to ranked games.

This is true. I ran into the same thing with one of the ranked achievements, but once I figured this out, it was cake. Someone does need to update the guide, though.

Actually, you can. If you set up a ranked game for just two people, and then tell your friend to search for it (Custom Match), he can find your game (usually). When you scroll through the available games, you can actually see the name of the person hosting each game (near the bottom of the screen).

Just to reassure you, I'm not just quoting someone else or telling you what I've heard. I have actually confirmed that this works, as me and a friend (ZoSo x360a) got all of the ranked achievements a couple of nights ago (Monday night, I think).

Thanks liquidag, I have already gained the achievements and your right it wasn't that hard once hosting, and i see you can play with a friend using the host name to search, it was just that it stated a player match in the guide as quoted earlier.

No problem. Yeah, I think you could do it in a player match when the game first released, but they've fixed some of the glitches with updates since then.

Would you guys happen to know if you cannot search for someone's ranked match if they are on your friends list, or if your prefix matches up? A friend of mine and I were trying to do the ranked matches achievements but when searching for custom matches, neither could find the other.

Anyone that has done this before feel like helping out?

I've had mixed results finding friends game, and I think it depends on the game type and how many other games there are available. In retrieval, for instance, I can always find my friend's games (and there are less available). While in team sharpshooter, often I can't find it.

Another thing that sometimes works if your friend can't find the game, is to quit out and relaunch the room. Alot of times that solves the problem and they can find the room then.

I don't know about the prefix, but I know that someone being on your friends list does NOT affect it. I've found friends' games and vice versa. However, weird firewall connections, spotty internet connectivity, and a host of other connection issues seem to cause some people problems. One guy that I played with could NEVER find my games, but I could see his just fine. It varies wildly.

I've experienced this too. Sometimes, just refreshing the search works. Sometimes, you need to relaunch the room. Sometimes, I could see the match, but not join it. You just have to kind of play with it. To test your ability to see others' games (and vice versa), try hosting a dedicated server match with 16 max players on Survival Mode. Not many people play this, so it should be easy to find. If you can't see your friend's game, then you may never be able to.

For the Cooperative T Hunt, do you have to do it all in one sitting??? Because ive beaten all of the levels to my knowledge at least twice. Is their something that i might be doing wrong???

Are you talking about the "Tour of Duty" Achievement? If so, the same thing happened to me. My brother and I went through all 10 T-Hunt Missions online in one sitting, and we didn't get it. Then, a couple of months later, we were playing some T-Hunt online for fun, and we both got it after beating Killhouse (which isn't the last map). We were doing normal difficulty (not realistic) with low density both times I think (the time we didn't get it AND the time we did). I would recommend playing with more or less teammates, try all the maps on both difficulties, and mix up the density of enemies. If there is a particular setup that works, I don't know what it is. I used to think you wouldn't get it if you didn't survive and your teammate did, but we both got it when we beat Killhouse the second time. And one of us had to have survived the first time we beat it... I don't know... Maybe we skipped it somehow the first time.

No, they cannot. Most of them must be done in Ranked matches. One exception might be the Sniper Achievement, but it may have been fixed. I know for a fact that they all work in Ranked matches, though.

Although as a note, at least at one point, either the team survival or survival ranked achievement requires you to host the match. Not sure if that's been fixed or not, but might want to watch out for that.
