Where is my Halo 3 save file?

I have 2 storages: memory card & harddisk, and I usually put my save game to my memory card.

Last time when I played halo 3, I accidentally created a save file at my harddisk, so I went to my harddisk and tried to delete it. However, I could neither find any save game at my harddisk, nor my memory file...I think I had seen a 10m file at my memory card but now is disappeared...

So I entered the game again but I could still select the campaigns, because I already finished them all. My question is, where is my save file? Does it save to the server now instead of my memory card? I installed the game into my harddisk, does it embed into the Halo3 harddisk image?

So weird... Thanks for any advice!

First off, you should never install Halo 3 to your HDD. Bungie has stated this numerous times saying that weird things happen and the game does not run as smoothly when installed. I'm surprised you did so, when you load up the game a huge message pops up saying not to install it.

Never mind, it's ok now! Perhaps I missed that pop-up message. Thanks for telling me!
