Achievement Guide and Roadmap to full 1000 GS.

This is an upgrade of the previous guide, which was started by Boba Phil, with contributions from myself and Sons of Kyuss. But this is the full achievement guide, roadmap to 1k, list of all artifact & challenge locations, and end of level note (for co-op achievements) for both the PC and 360 versions. I am keeping the artifact, challenge and end of level notes spoiler free (plot and story wise), names of bosses are not included unless they are in the mission name.

Everything is now complete. I also added notes in the mission list when the campaign jumps around, as it will mess up anyone looking for all artifacts and challenges in their first playthrough. Also note, the achievements have been rearranged to make it easier to see what achievements are related, etc.

Table of Contents:
Post #2: Guide to first part of achievements
Post #3: Guide to second part of achievements
Post #4: Guide to third part of achievements, feat info, moves, & cheats information
Post #5: Droid and challenge information
Post #6: Ryloth artifacts, challenges, and ends of missions (spoiler free)
Post #7: Juma-9 artifacts, challenges, and ends of missions (spoiler free)
Post #8: Alzoc III artifacts, challenges, and ends of missions (spoiler free)
Post #9: Behpour artifacts, challenges, and ends of missions (spoiler free)

Overview:
Estimated achievement difficulty: 2/10 (360) 3/10 (PC)
Offline achievements: 49 (1000
) (4 will need a second controller)
Online achievements: 0
Approximate time for 1000
: 6-20 hours (too many people complaining about approximate time not being accurate enough. If you complete it in less than 6 hours or more than 20, accept my apologies.)
Minimum number of playthroughs required for completion: 2 (maybe 3)
Number of missable achievements: 0
Glitched achievements: 0
Do cheat codes disable achievements: No (In-game purchased cheats do not disable achievements, in fact, some achievements are impossible without them)
Does difficulty affect achievements: Yes (You will need to play Master, which will unlock Padawan)
Stackable Achievements: Yes (360 & PC)

This game is very easy since it is designed for kids, but there are a few achievements that can take some effort. For the PC version, Can't Touch Me is a little tougher to get than the 360 version, but it is still fairly easy.

Introduction:
Play as the Republic Heroes of the Clone Wars. This game has a very linear campaign, with no online capabilities. Co-op is local only. For the PC version, player #2 uses the number pad and directional arrows on the keyboard to move. In the campaign, you will play as predetermined characters to progress the story. Once the campaign has been completed, you may replay each mission in any order and with any Jedi for Jedi missions and any clone for clone missions. As such, you will need to play the campaign all the way through once, and then replay each mission with specific characters for 3 achievements. If you do not combine your playthroughs, you could potentially need to do seven full playthroughs (campaign, characters, time, artifacts, challenges, co-op, and mission medals). If you follow the guide to the letter, you should only need two full playthroughs and possibly several additional individual mission replays to get the full 1000.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
Playthrough #1: Play on Master Difficulty and use the Artifact and Challenge guide (starting in post #6 of this thread) to find all artifacts and get the gold/platinum on all challenges on your first run. Challenges can be replayed immediately if you fail to make at least gold, so take your time now and make sure to get gold or platinum on every challenge. Once you purchase the Combo Bar cheat, you will need to turn it on at the beginning of each mission (go back to shop, select it, "Combo Bar" should now be yellow to indicate it is on). From this point forward, it should be easy to get at least gold on every mission, except for the boss battles since they give medals based on time only. You will also gain points insanely fast now, so additional cheats and upgrades can be bought and used. Some cheats cannot be used at the same time as Combo Bar, if you try it, Combo Bar will no longer be in yellow text to let you know it has been turned off. Make sure you do not purchase any droid dances yet, as they get annoying very quick since once a droid starts dancing you cannot do a droid-jak to blow up barriers or other droids.

Playthrough #2: Play on Padawan. You must play all Jedi missions with player #1 (you) as Ahsoka and player #2 as Anakin, and all clone missions with Cad Bane as player #1 (you) and any clone you want as player #2. Continue using Combo Bar to easily get gold/platinum on the early missions you missed from your campaign run. Run through the level as fast as you can, some groups of enemies you can just run past, only stop and fight in areas where you can’t run past the enemies. Also, from the beginning, get a second player/account to join every mission just before it ends, notes on end of each level are below
(starting in post #6 of this thread). When you see the summary screen (medals, time, points, etc) your AI companion's name should be replaced either by the other account name (360 version) or "Player 2" (PC version). If you missed adding the 2nd person in time, immediately replay the same level and make sure to do it before moving on! The game does not tell you what missions you still need to do in co-op, so if you miss one mission you will need to start from the beginning again, or take guesses at which one(s) you missed and hope the force is with you.

Playthrough #3, if needed: The only items you should have left are some of the kill X number of droids by X, in-game purchases, and the Can't Touch Me achievements. Use the guide below to knock out those achievements. By now you should have noticed that when you select a mission to replay, it shows 3 levels of data by your gamertag; beside your tag is your highest medal for that mission, next row has the challenges (grayed out if you don't have gold/platinum on it), and the third row lists the artifacts (grayed out if you don't have it/them). So if you are missing artifacts, or gold on challenges, use this data page to see what missions you need to replay. For some reason this detail list does not include medals from your challenges in your initial campaign run, but those medals do count towards the challenge achievements. Therefore, if you don't have the challenge achievements yet, just find the ones you did not do in your second playthrough and eventurally you'll do the one(s) you missed in your campaign run.

Conclusion:
This game really is not hard, especially if you use the artifact, challenge, and end of level list. If you still need gold on a boss fight, the only advice to give is to use the cheats to do more damage and learn the patterns each boss has to attack them when their guard is down.

Can't Touch Me - 15
Defeat Kul Teska on Behpour without either player dying

For 360 version - use a second account (that can save progress to hard drive) to get enough points so that both players have invincibility cheat. Replay mission until you beat it with neither player dying from missing a jump to the sabotage droids...

For PC version - same as 360 version, except there is no way to save player #2's progress, so you must get 100,000 points, buy the cheat, and beat Kul Teska all in one sitting, and without player #2 dropping out!!. If you exit the game, the game crashes, your computer turns off, or player #2 drops out (exit mission via menu instead of completing it OR push the Backspace key), player #2's points disappear and you have to start collecting points again.

I did it by playing Alzoc III Mission #4 since it is a short mission, and there is a Droid Demolition challenge at the end. Play as player #2, get to and start the Droid Demo challenge since you can just force push all the battle droids to their doom. As soon as you have 20,000 points, purchase the Combo Bar cheat since this gives about a 3X multiplier. Now you just need 33,334 more points to get the 100,000 points needed for invincibility. Once you have the points, finish the mission and immediately go to Behpour #9. As soon as the mission starts, go in and turn on Invincibility for each player, now just take your time and finish the mission, making sure neither player jumps off the edge and dies. It took me 25 minutes to get the points needed for Invincibility and another 5 minutes to beat Kul Teska.

Come back soon - 10
Buy a Hat or Mask

See "Dressed for Success".

Combat Master - 15
Buy all Combat upgrades

See "Dressed for Success".

Droid Master - 15
Buy all Droid-Jak upgrades

See "Dressed for Success".

Dance Master - 15
Buy all Droid Dancing upgrades

See "Dressed for Success".

Dressed for Success - 30
Buy every Hat & Mask

Purchase everything from the in-game store. The points you collect in the missions and challenges are your "money" to purchase items from the store. The Combo Bar cheat will give you a point multiplier when turned on.

Feat Info (Thanks to E vee dub):
Feat = Achievement
Alley-Oop = Tag Team
Boom = Handle with Care
Bowling Battle = Bowling Master
Got Your Back = My Hero
Force Kill = Force Crusher
Mind The Edge = Watch Your Step
Death From Above = Grand Slam
Up Close And Personal = Up Close And Personal

Useful Cheats:
Combo Bar -
cost 20,000 points - Gives a constant 3X point multiplier. Used to get Gold/Platinum on every mission and challenge, and to get more points to buy other cheats and upgrades.

Extra Damage -
cost 20,000 points - Increases the amount of damage you do with your lightsaber and force push. Only needed for boss battles as most other enemies are fairly easy to kill.

Force Blast - cost 200,000 points - Able to constant strong force pushes.

Ultimate Lightsaber - cost 100,000 points - Kills normal enemies with just one hit, only needed for additional damage in boss battles.

Invincibility - cost 100,000 points - Only way to die is by falling from a high location.

Thermal Detonators - cost 15,000 points - Once you pick up thermal detonators, you have an unlimited supply.

Rocket Launcher - cost 15,000 points - Once you pick up rockets, you have an unlimited supply.

Mini-Gun - cost 15,000 points - Once you pick up a mini-gun, you have an unlimited ammo supply.

Details of moves - Jedi:

Droid-Jak: Double-jump on droid by pressing twice and then . Press to attack other droids. For Sabotage droids and Droidekas, hold and aim with to have the droid destroy anything in its path.

Mounted Force Kill: Double-jump on droid by pressing twice and then .

Droid Dance: Double-jump on droid by pressing twice and then (must purchase upgrade first).

Force Push:
Press . Stronger push by holding before releasing. Will stun droids so partner can get the Tag Team achievement.

Details of moves - Clones:

Melee: Press when near a droid.

Special Weapons: For EMP grenades, Thermal Detonators, and Rocket Launchers hold and aim with , then release . For Mini-Guns, hold and aim with , do not release until you are done shooting or out of ammo.

Droid information:
Note: these are the droid types you have to go by for the achievements for gold droids, droid-jaks, dancing droids, etc.

Battle Droids - from movies - basic battle droids, some can fly, some have rocket launchers, all are very weak.

Super Battle Droids - from movies - best droid to droid-jak to take out other droids.

Droidekas - from movies - easy to kill before putting shield up, not so easy after shield is up.

Sabotage Droids - not seen in movies - has the legs that act like a blender, shoots laser beams, used frequently to blow up barriers, generators, and other droids.

Spider Droids - from movies - slow mover, cannon can be charged before firing for a more powerful shot.

Chameleon Droids - not seen in movies - looks like a barstool with spider legs, turns invisible and lays mines on ground.

Crab Droids - from movies - slow mover, but uses legs to protect self from attack, droid-jak to send small earthquakes at enemies.

Magnaguards - from movies - not only do they have their staff, they also have a shield, easy to kill be droid-jak and doing a mounted force kill.

Other Droids/Vehicles (for the padawans to the Star Wars universe):

STAP - The Single Trooper Aerial Platform. This is the single-person vehicle with forward mounted cannons that you will see throughout the game. First appearance is in the training mission, your "guide" will tell you how to knock the battle droid off and ride it.

Octuptarra Droids - The giants of the Separatist Army. Has a big ball for the body, with three cannons that can rotate around the body, and three legs that it uses to walk.

Vulture Droid - Large flying droid. It is a weird looking droid with a flat, wing-like body and legs that look like chopsticks.

Challenge information:
Note: Combo Bar does not give point multiplier in challenges, but the points from the challenges are multiplied when counting for the mission medal.

Droid Demolition - Gain points by destroying droids in any style you want, force push, droid-jak, or lightsaber.

Knockback Knockout - Gain points only for droids you force push over the ledge.

Point Panic - Gain points by collecting as many orbs as you can in the time limit.

Takeover Takedown - Gain points only for droids you destroy with another droid. Easiest if you droid-jak a super battle droid and use its blasters.

LOL. I just got the full 1000 five minutes ago and Bowling Master was the last one I got. I was doing it on Behpour Mission #7. At the first elevator stop, go left, many battle droids there, was using it for practice of how to take down the shield without wiping out the battle droids and target practice. Got the achievement and felt baffled. Re-read the description for the ump-teenth time and it finally clicked, lol.

But now that I have the full 1K, I can give better tips on the tougher ones.

Juma-9 Mission #8 Artifact

The Mission #8 Artifact can be seen during the video clip in the beginning with the droid talking.
It's located left of the rockets you use to kill the vulture droid.

Mission #9 "Anybody out there?" actually has 2 artifacts. The first one is near Challenge #1. After you ride the 3 pipes jump against the wall and ride down with your lightsaber to the area below. Jump some pipes to the left and there it is. The second one is listed above.

Glad I can help.

Thanks Getderty, I was getting sleepy when I went through that level taking notes. I would have found the mistake, but now that's one less replay I have to do again.

Update: Guide and Roadmap are complete, have been submitted for verification, approval, and final editing by x360a staff.

50/50 Artifacts, 47/47 Challenges, and end notes for all missions except boss battles are now included (still needs proofreading, but is usable).

Good question - I did one playthrough on the hardest difficulty, and now I just need to get Gold/Platinum on two levels. Can I do those levels on Padawan difficulty, or do I have to do them on the Hard difficulty? Also, for the "play as Ahsoka" and "play as Cad Bane" achievements, do all the levels have to be played on one difficulty, or is it cumulative? Anyone have a good answer?

Thanks for all the help guys - good hard work put in by some good ol' video game-playing bad-asses!

You can do the last two challenges on Padawan (assuming you know which two to do) and you'll have the achievement.

As for Ahsoka/Bane, they can also be done part on Master, part on Padawan. But you will need to replay every level to get Ahsoka, Bane, and Ahsoka with Anakin, so just do them all on Padawan. There is no point in doing anything on Master once you get the Master achievement...

Thank you for this. I actually didn't realize when you do the replay mission option that you can actually choose "Padawan difficulty" for the replay. I was under the impression that you would have to do an entire campaign on the Padawan difficulty before you could actually 'replay' the missions. I was totally wrong, and thank you for easing my sorrow.

I don't know if it's just my game but I can only activate 1 cheat at a time. Every time I try to activate a second cheat, it disables my first one. Just want to clerify that it's just not me.

I mention this in the Roadmap, Playthrough #1. You can use more than one cheat at a time, but rarely is it two cheats that you really want to use. Ultimate Lightsaber and Extra Damage can be used together (boss fights). Combo Bar, Thermal Detonators, Mini-Gun, and Rocket Launcher can all be on at the same time (clone missions/challenges), even though you can only use one "special" weapon as a clone at a time...

This is NOT a 6 - 10 hour game.
It is more like 12 - 18 hours for the full 1,000

I dont know how anyone on their first playthrough could get 1,000 in 6 hours.

I dont think it is possible.

I played it with my dummy account. On the first playthrough I got the 3 hour achievement, all artifacts, all challenges, and only missed one medal for missions achievement. I didn't do a second playthrough, but if I had, the time for it would have been faster as I would not need any challenges or artifacts, and the difficulty dropping to Padawan. It is easy to do a whole playthrough in under 3 hours, you only need 2 playthroughs, so that's about 6 hours there. From there, Cant Touch me will take an extra 30 minutes, thus giving you at least 3 hours to "mop up" the other achievements you may have missed. That's enough time to do a 3rd complete campaign run.
