Does anybody know which Claptraps give you more inventory space in the "2ND playthrough"?

Ive currently got 45 inventory slots but am not sure which Claptrap/Location gives the last upgrade.

There is also a clap trap that is in Dr. Neds Island that i found it is in the lumber yard near the entrance to the lumber mill. Also i was on playthrough 2 and he gave me a bag upgrade.

Exclamation All claptraps but no acheivement for it?? anyone else?

Hi there...I have gotten all
I got:
Sledges safe house
The lost Cave
New Haven
Crazy earls scrapyard
Tetanus warren
Kroms canyon
Trash Coast
Old Haven
The salt flats
and Crimson fastness

And I still havne't gotten the cheevo. Do I have to go through the second playthrough to get recollect the same ones til I have enough? or should there have been enough on the first playthrough?

Did you apply the upgrades to your character, if you don't apply them the achievement won't unlock. They show up in your inventory. If you don't apply the upgrades nothing will happen.

No it wont... >_< I missed one and did all the ones i wasnt sure of in 2nd playthrough. Never got a inventory upgrade. Then, just to make sure it wasnt a bug i did it in 1st walkthrough and got my missing upgrade.

In regards to the Old Haven claptrap, it wasn't there for a long time for me until I did the mission "Not without my claptrap" and freed the one in the cage, then walking back out I heard him and he had appeared in the exact spot the guide gives.

I was reading up on it, seems I have my info wrong. Any upgrades in the 2ND playthrough are bugged (you should get grenade upgrades only not more inventory slots).

I went back to the 1ST playthrough and just found one I missed. I now have 42 slots but there is a spare one still to get in the 1ST playthrough. So potentially I can get 45 in all.

I also had an issue with finding the last two, in my 2nd playthru I decided to pick up the 2 id missed so I started at the first one in the guide and got to the end still missing 6 slots.

I did notice the CT's didnt give up the backpack item on playthru2 but i started getting mixed up with what ones Id done on which playthru, deja vu sucks.

Back to the start and going thru them on playthru one I did finaly nail them, thanks for the guide

Have we established what the legitimate maximum for Inventory Slots is? 42 in the game, plus 4 more slots for the extras that are possible in the second playthrough, plus the DLC SDU makes 50. Is that right? Or is it 48?

Only wondering as I have 48.

Wasn't sure whether the Borderlands Wiki was updated to show that info, but I get it now. I also though there were only certain Claptraps in Playthrough 2 that could give an SDU; I didn't know all of them had the same chance, but looking back at it, that makes total sense.

I'm also kinda mad that I played Zombie Island on Playthrough 2...I suppose if I boot it up on Playthrough 1, that'll give me an available extra SDU. I can't imagine returning to the Dashboard multiple times to get extra SDU's in Playthrough 2, but I suppose some people have already done that.

From what I've heard only 5 specific claptraps give SDUs in P2 ... however I haven't done it so I wouldn't know. I wish I had though (had already beat the game a second time by the time I found out).

I joined a friends game and got the DLC claptrap for the second time, since he was in P1

After doing all the leftover claptrap missions yesterday, I think I must have somehow sold a backpack SDU early on and cant remember where...

Can anyone confirm if you get the achievement for 42 slots IF you fix the claptrap from the zombie DLC? I really dont want to have to do it all again on a new character

My friend got the achievement right after using the Zombie DLC SDU, so it should work fine. And you can use P2 SDUs.

Lumber yard? I'm not sure which area you're referring to or I'd have posted something more helpful. sorry.

edit: Oh, nevermind. I didn't realize there was a Claptrap to rescue in the DLC as I just learned a few posts down.

I currently have 33 inventory slots and it looks like I only have 2 claptraps left, one in crimson fastness and the other in the salt flats. That will leave me at 39 so I'm wondering if its possible to miss one. Like while playing online?

Thanks a lot mate, extremely useful guide.

If you don't mind a constructive criticism, i would elaborate a little more on the Krom's repair kit. Even though the picture show the exact location, you could add that you have to go past it, continuing the spiral like path upwards, and run and jump up from the rooftop with explosives to reach it.

It took me a long time to figure it out, because it's very far away from the location shown in the picture.
