Talking Fondest Memory of COD 4?

As Modern Warfare 2 is just hours away, or for some of my friends, already 4 days in progress, what is your fondest memory(ies) of the original Modern Warfare?

Mine are the flashback level in Ghillies in the Mist, as tense as any game can get, and Price's pistol slide rumbling across the pavement before you get to kill Zachev

Yours?

My attempts at Mile high Club. Ahhh hahaha. Fond memories indeed. I was so happy because I had about 0.001 seconds left in it.

Ghilles in the Mist is hands down my favorite level of all time. After I finished it for the first time, I played it again, and again, and again. Absolutely loved it.

Beating Mile High Club on Veteran after 2 hours was good, too.

The somewhere around 750 hours spent in multiplayer. It just never seems to get old. I spend some time on other games then come back & I'm hooked all over again. Some of my favorite moments specifically are several headshot collateral damage challenges & finally breaking 100k kills (just did that a few nights ago, it was a goal to reach before MW2 released). And, of course, finally getting the Mile High Club achievement.

I enjoyed the campaign a lot, too. Such an amazing storyline.. probably one of the best I've ever played through.

I also miss the late nights playing search and destroy, or camping the basement with my friends in backlot =)

Getting the Mile High Club achievement as well as all the Hardcore HQ on Shipment games. I'll probably never see a 141 kill game again.

The beginning of Crew Expendable with Captain Price hanging onto the edge of the heli smoking a cigar. Don't get much more badass than Price.

My fondest memory just being addicted to it from December 07 to May 08, and all the fun times I had playing that game with my friends. Damn, just typing this makes me look back on those 6 months and wish i could relive that. It was also my best semester in college too.

My fondest memories are the Chernobyl mission, loved scurrying through buildings, had that horror feel about it, being all quiet being the empty town as it is now in real life
That one in the chopper marking enemies and buildings was good fun too.

my fondest memory was:

running down that hall on the plane, getting past those last two guys. one by shooting and one by stabbing, then with 13 seconds left on the timer...time slowed down and out came V.I.P. and hostage holder!

i only had one shot, my heart beating, hands sweating---after months of practice and aggrevation, it all paid off!! i was here and i was gonna save the V.I.P. and NOTHING was gonna stop me!!!

So i took aim and BAM! blood everywhere! OMG! its over!!!

wait, what?!?!

Friendly fire isnt tolerated?! WHAT!?!? I SHOT THE HOSTAGE!!!

---------------------------

sucks!!!

but the next day i did the same thing and got my MILE HIGH CHEEVO!!
