Lost Planet Colonies is Lost Planet with 4 new Multiplayer Maps, a few new MP Characters, new MP and SP modes and a "fixed" Multiplayer. However both games aren't compatible with each other.

Lost Planet Colonies is also a cross-platform game for XB and PC.

Lost Planet 2 is around the corner so I thought it's time to play trough the first one. As I never played the game I'm really confused about the 2 editions. I want to mainly play trough the single player to earn some achievements and do some MP (not much).

From what it looks to me the Colonies is the worse choice for me:
- Like 95% Online Achievements
- Multiplayer Mixed with PC (WTF?!)

So I better pick up the original one, even if I will miss some maps and mp modes. Am I right with my conclusion?
