Breaking Benjamin, and Atreyu are my two favorite bands. Breaking Benjamin has good songs throughout all their albums, such as "The Diary of Jane", "So Cold", "Fade Away", and "I Will Not Bow". Atreyu has good songs throughout all their albums too, such as "Lose It", "Becoming the Bull", "Doomsday", and "You Were the King, Now You're Unconscious".

Why don't you just look through the Favourite Bands thread if you like all types of music?

You know what this thread needs? Folk music. Enjoy. Or more likely, don't.

Devour by Shinedown is a good song, Monster by Skillet, Burn it to the Ground by Nickleback, and Hellions on Parade by CKY. These are some songs I find pretty good to listen to.

Phobia and Dear Agony are two very well put together albums. Both are excellent top to bottom.

I'd recommend Incubus. Very quality musicians and they have some fantastic albums. Morning View is my personal favorite. Make Yourself is what made them very popular though. Lots of good music on both of those albums. They have another called A Crow Left of Murder... which may interest you, but it's more mellow than the others. Those aren't their newest albums though.

If you have iTunes, look for the album entitled Monuments and Melodies. It has the essentials from every album (except S.C.I.E.N.C.E. which is a bit heavier and funkier. Definitely an acquired taste).

Pandora radio is so much better than Last.FM for discovering new music. I like Last.FM, I do, but Pandora has it beat - Tenfold. Last.FM checks the genre of whatever you're listening to, and plays an artist that fits into that genre, or close to it. While that's a start, pretty much any radio can do that.

Pandora analyzes the music and finds songs with similar qualities. If you're looking for new music, that's the place. If you're looking for a bunch of the same, Last.FM.

If you're interested in seeing just how many attributes Pandora checks for, see Here.

My bad. I was looking in the A's section for APC. Also, you may want to check out Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty. They were Maynard's band before he joined Tool.

Pandora's free but you're limited to how many skips you get in an hour. It's better about picking songs than Last.FM I think.

It can be free. Just like Last.FM.

Free membership: 40 hours of music per month + commercials, and 5 skips every hour, I believe.

Premium: No commercials, unlimited skips(I think, pretty damn sure), unlimited music.

It's worth it. In a given 40 hours, you'll discover tons of new artists. Sing up for it immediately.
