Well, I don't think there's a way to glitch the 1000 and if you did it might be considered gamesaving, but I'm not sure. Also, as far as I'm concerned there are no cheats that help you get through the campaign faster and easier. Unfortunately, you're just going to have to grow a pair (along with a few hairs here and there) along with the rest of us who got the 1000 and trudge through it. If it's your first Call of Duty game on Veteran, I assure you it WILL be a bitch, so don't hesitate if you need to hit me up for some tips.

If that's also the mission where you have to snipe the artillery crews, your best bet is throwing frags and smokes as much as possible as you really won't need them for the rest of the mission. You also may have to die a few times to memorize enemy locations, but throwing a frag upwards in a good spot should cause some enemies to run, at this point mow down anyone that might come towards your way (either up or down the stairs) as well as those that run away. A perfect nade location is crucial because it puts enemies in a running animation and they won't be concerned with shooting you, which gives you the opportunity to shoot them. If you don't find this working out, just simply practice throwing your grenades into the best of positions where you'll take out the most enemies. Hope this helps bro.

Well congratulations man, but I don't think there's an achievement for beating it on Hardened. I'm telling you man, keep at it and you'll get it eventually.

I have been picking at this games for years now since release, i did COD4 (1000 points) but this seems so much harder.
Currently i'm stuck on top of a tower where you have to sniper men firing morters.
I can't remember a game i've gotten so stuck on so many times and I think I still have 4 levels to go
Just wanna get it finished so any help would be appreciated

Right now I'm renting this game for 8 dollars instead of buying it for 20, it's due Friday and I'm already half way through it after just getting it yesterday, I don't even have this game for 24 hours yet!

Beaten I'm so happy! haha I've gotten all achievements for all CoD except Call of Duty 3, I need to buy that one, because I doubt I'll rent it and get it all (hint: playing online achievements is going to take a while believe me haha), and I can't wait until Modern Warfare 2 comes out sometimes after Thanksgiving!!!

So far ive been smooth sailing through the game since i beat cod4, and cod5 on veteran, so i know what to do.
But today i got to the hill 400, and didn't even start it because people say its a bitch to get through. Is it really? and what are the chances i will have to fix my window?

for me d-day was the only brutal mission, compared to that hill 400 is a walk in the park

clearing the bunkers on the way up is a piss of piss, the 3rd one is the hardest, just use a smoke to get to it

after clearing the 1st bunker blow the other door to get a sniper rifle, this makes the rest of the level a whole lot easier

the hardest part of hill 400 is destroying the mortar teams when you get to the top, make sure you stay in the trench and dont try to take a short cut straight across to get to them, and snipe em

defending the hill for 5 minutes is a breeze imo as long as you get into a good position where you can't be flanked.

the Germans arrive on halftracks and then just park them, and rush off leaving them adandoned every time i blew up a halftrack i got a checkpoint and i think there are 4 of them, just blow up a halftrack every minute and you will fly through

this level is nothing compared to silo and i honestly found this one of the easier levels but maybe i got lucky

I found Hill 400 really easy, for the last part I just went prone in the rubble near the thing you have to protect, your guys will clear out most of the enemies around and you just have to gun the few that make it to you. Then, wheneber there was an artillery strike I just sprinted to the bunker and took cover, then sprinted back to the rubble, =]

Did the defending part in like 10 minutes.

Wanting to glitch or cheat this one is pretty weak saying as the 1000/1000 is a real badge of honour to those who have it!

thank god there is no way to glitch this game. it wont take many days to complete it, and it's worth all the trouble. as said, it's definatly a badge of honour!

i've heard there are ways to glitch MW and WaW, but that's just sad. play the game like a true gamer

No, it's not impossible, although sometimes at points it feels like it. All I have to say is keep on trying, don't give up.

D-Day gave me nightmares. Good luck with that on Veteran. "Sgt. Randall! The guns are gone!" ; "What?!" ; "The guns aren't here! Krauts must've moved them someplace else!"

I would say "The Silo" is the hardest mission in the game.

I have a few completed on veteran. I'll be done with another 2 really soon (I already have 2/3 parts on both beaten on veteran). Will the USA flag levels be WAY harder than what I've done so far?

This is my first call of duty game ever, so at least I know I'm starting with the hard one first and so far don't have TOO much difficulty to where I can't beat it.

This game was hell for me even though I'm pretty damn good in FPS games like Call of Duty. Just keep playing hard and fight for every checkpoint and finally you will make it just like any other of us who have 1000 now. And if this is impossible for you, wait for upcoming CoD 2 missions and CoD:WaW, oh! This is obviously easy to compared them.
