I thought it was just right, but yeah I know what you mean, not TOO challenging but very interesting. It's just too bad John died at the end

It gives you a map marking to go to, but the tutorials go really fast and the dialogue is difficult to hear. Just an opinion.
I agree with everything you've said here and yes that has happened to me also, with not knowing what I'm supposed to be doing.
I found a couple of the challenges tricky, but not infuriatingly tricky.

I voted "Just Right" because although the story was quite easy, it kept me gripped from start to finish.

That's a dickish move to get your 5th post. The thread said no spoilers!

Hmm well to each his own. That does sound a lot harder..I can't imagine playing the game without Dead Eye (because it would be crazy hard and a lot less fun to me). I did however after beating the game and getting halfway through Undead Nightmare realize that you could change the targeting system. I was on Normal for the whole time and if you switch to Casual it auto aims for the heads of bad guys. Talk about frickin easy now! I can take out 10 undead in 5 seconds with headshots now

When I was playing through the game, I didn't find it that challenging, it wasn't easy though. I thought it was just right.

The difficulty was definitely just right. Some missions and achievements were slightly frustrating, but nothing too difficult.

Occasionally the game was somewhat challenging, but never really frustratingly so. It's certainly not the kind of game that makes you want to hurl your controller through your tv screen, nor are any of the achievements. I also wouldn't say it was too easy, you won't find yourself breezing through every mission wondering if it's even possible to die. I really look forward to a sequel and I hope it will be slightly more challenging.

Well...I just got the 100% achievement. I was going to vote just right, but I'm pretty realistic - I'm an average gamer - more persistent than talented, so if I got "Redeemed" without difficulty and with my XBOX 360 controller intact, I gotta say that this game was fairly easy.

Not that I'm complaining.

This game is simply amazing. I am almost at 100% completion (I am at 98.5%)...I have like 4 Bounties still left to collect.

This game really is not too hard to get 100% completion. Enough of a variety that it doesnt seem a chore to be getting this achievement.

Love this game so much

This just reminded me that I still haven't tried the Hardcore mode that was included with the GOTY edition...

Hmmm....
