Achievement Guide (In Progress)

Ok, this is my first Achievement Guide so I hope you will cut me a little slack I love football games and I thought I had some very helpful tips for getting 1000g on this year's edition of NCAA Football, so here is my guide. Keep in mind that if you ever need additional help on an achievement, you can adjust the Custom AI sliders in House Rules. Also, all achievements except Veteran are obtainable by using Freshman difficulty. Enjoy!

Air Raid25 Score 35+ points in a game running an Air Raid offense (excludes co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose any team you feel comfortable using and set the Offense to Air Raid. Set the game on Freshman difficulty and give yourself a decent amount of time to score 35 points. I did 7 minute quarters just to be safe. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

Mix It Up15 Rush for 100+ yards in a game with an Air Raid offense (excludes co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose any team you feel comfortable using and set the Offense to Air Raid. Set the game on Freshman difficulty and give yourself a decent amount of time (I suggest 7 minutes.) Just keep running the ball with Shotgun or any other run plays that you can find until you get 100 yards. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

Multiple Offense25 Call at least one play from 10 different formation sets using a Multiple offense (excludes co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose any team you feel comfortable using and set the Offense to Multiple. Set the game on Freshman difficulty and give yourself a decent amount of time (I suggest 7 minutes.) Multiple offense has many formations, so just select a formation (such as Ace - Big) and run one play from each until you have used 10. Either keep count of how many you have used or just use one play from each. There are around 20 formations. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

One Back25 Run a One Back offense and gain 200 yards rushing in a game (excludes co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose any team that has a good running back, such as Alabama or West Virginia, and set the Offense to One Back. Set the game on Freshman difficulty and give yourself a decent amount of time (I suggest 7 minutes.) Use only run plays until you get 200 yards rushing. It does not have to be 200 yards with one player. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

Options25 Score 35+ points in a game running an Option offense (excludes co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose any team that you feel comfortable using and set the Offense to Option Run. Set the game on Freshman difficulty and give yourself a decent amount of time (I suggest 7 minutes.) You do not have to run only Option plays to get this achievement. Just score 35 points and the achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

Throw 'Em a Curveball15 Throw for 300 yards in one game using an Option offense (excludes co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose any team you feel comfortable using and set the Offense to Option Run. Set the game on Freshman difficulty and give yourself a decent amount of time (I suggest 7 minutes.) Use passing plays from Shotgun until you get 300 yards passing. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

Pistol25 Gain 100 yards rushing with a QB and a HB while running Pistol offense in a game (excludes co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose a team that has a fast quarterback and running back, such as Ohio State or Virginia Tech and set the Offense to Pistol. Set the game on Freshman difficulty and give yourself a decent amount of time (I suggest 7 minutes.) Run the quarterback (I ran from Shotgun) until you get 100 yards and then do the same with the running back. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

West Coast/Pro Style25 Using a West Coast/Pro Style offense, complete passes to 8 different receivers (excludes co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose a team you feel comfortable using and set the Offense to Pro Style. Set the difficulty on Freshman and give yourself a decent amount of time (I suggest 7 minutes.) Complete a pass to the starting receivers on the team, and keep track of who you have completed a pass to. Then press Start, go to Strategy, then Depth Chart and put different Wide Receivers in the place of 1,2,3, and 4. Make sure you are running a four WR formation or you won't get to use all four of those receivers. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

Run and Shoot25 Gain 300 yards passing in a game throwing to at least 5 receivers using the Run and Shoot(no co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose a team you feel comfortable using and set the Offense to Run and Shoot. Set the difficulty to Freshman and give yourself a decent amount of time (I suggest 7 minutes.) Complete a pass to all 5 receivers in the 5 WR and keep passing until you get 300 yards. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

Aggressive Spread No Huddle25 Score a touchdown running only no huddle for an entire drive with a Spread offense (excludes co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose a team you feel comfortable using and set the Offense to Spread. Set the difficulty to Freshman. I did 1 minute quarters on this one. Just make sure you get the ball first if you do so. On the opening drive, run a play and then hold . This will keep the teams in no huddle. Keep running plays and holding after the play until you drive down and score. This achievement unlocks right when you score.

Spread No Huddle25 With a Spread offense, score 2 TD's from audibled plays while running no huddle (excludes co-op).

Set up a game in Exhibition. Choose a team you feel comfortable using and set the Offense to Spread. Set the difficulty to Freshman. I did 1 minute quarters on this one. Just make sure you get the ball first if you do so. Get down in the red zone. Run a play but do not score. Then hold down to go into no huddle. When the quarterback lines up, press X and select an audible. Keep trying until you score a touchdown on the audible. Do this once again in the same game. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

There He Goes...15 Break a run for 50 or more yards in a Play Now, Dynasty, or Road to Glory game (excludes co-op).

Set up an Exhibition game on Freshman difficulty with a fast, elusive running back like Noel Devine from West Virginia. Play against any team with a D rated defense, such as Western Kentucky. Choose the One Back offensive style. Make sure you are AT LEAST 50 yards away from the goalline. Choose a pitch play and run to the outside. On Rookie difficulty, it should be easy to get a long touchdown run. If you are having trouble, you can also change the game sliders.

Take a Stab Downfield15 Complete a pass for 50 or more yards in a Play Now, Dynasty, or Road to Glory game (excludes co-op).

Set up an Exhibition game on Freshman difficulty. Choose a team you are comfortable using that has a decent quarterback and decent wide receivers. Play against any team with a D rated defense, such as Western Kentucky. On Freshman against a bad defense, it is best to just choose Hail Mary or any straight route and throw it deep.

Formation Sub Success5 Score a touchdown with a player subbed in using Formation Subs (excludes co-op).

Get in the red zone (20 yards from scoring.) Press Start, go to Strategy and then Formation Subs. Use a formation sub on a certain formation for your running back and then use that formation until you score.

1st Option For 65 Score a touchdown handing off to the fullback on a triple option play (excludes co-op).

Choose the Option Run offense and get down inside the 5 yard line. Choose Triple Option, and while running the play HOLD down the button instead of just pressing it. This will hand it off to your fullback. Keep doing so until you get into the endzone.

Speed Reader5 Score a touchdown on a QB Choice run play (excludes co-op).

This is a little tricky because the play doesn't actually say QB Choice. Get down inside the 5 yard line in a game with Option Run (several other offenses have it.) Choose the play "Read Option." You can either hold down to hand off to the running back, or simply press it to run the quarterback. Keep trying until you get into the endzone for the touchdown.

Draw Me a Touchdown5 Score a touchdown running a draw play on 3rd and 6+ yards (excludes co-op).

Get down to about the 10 yard line. Run the ball on 1st and 2nd down, but do not gain more than 4 yards. Choose a draw, I preferred Shotgun draw, and run around the defense instead of through the middle. On Freshman, it is easy to run around them and into the endzone for the touchdown.

Hero10 Score a touchdown as time expires to win the game (excludes co-op).

Set up an Exhibiton game, with Freshman difficulty and 1 minute quarters. Make sure you will get the ball at halftime. Run the clock out, DO NOT score, and prevent the computer from scoring. In the 4th quarter, get into the red zone and run the clock down to 3 seconds. Make sure you have a timeout to call. Then select a play that you think can get a quick touchdown. I used Shotgun myself.

Balanced Attack15 Gain 200 rushing yards and 200 passing yards in the same game (excludes co-op and Road to Glory).

Set up an Exhibition game with Freshman difficulty and about 7-8 minute quarters to be safe. Use a good overall team, such as Alabama and simply gain 200 rushing and 200 passing yards. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

The D Is For...15 Hold the opposition to under 100 total yards in a Play Now or Dynasty Mode game (excludes co-op).

Possibly the easiest achievement in the game. Just set up an Exhibition game on Freshman difficulty and 1 minute quarters. Play a horrible team, like Western Kentucky. Prevent them from getting 100 yards total. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

Red Zone Perfection15 Complete a Play Now or Dynasty Mode game with a Red Zone Efficiency rating of 100% (excludes co-op).

Set up an Exhibition game on Freshman difficulty and 1 minute quarters. Make sure you have at least one Red Zone trip, or I don't think it will unlock. Score a touchdown or field goal while in the red zone and then run out the rest of the game clock.

Red Zone Shutout15 Complete a Play Now or Dynasty Mode game without allowing a TD from the Red Zone (excludes co-op).

Set up an Exhibition game on Freshman difficulty and 1 minute quarters. Just simply do not allow your opponent to score. Make sure your opponent has at least one trip into the red zone. Should get this one while trying for "The D is For" or vice-versa.

Lock It Up15 With Player Lock on, return an interception for a TD (excludes co-op).

This is actually much easier than I thought it would be. Set up an Exhibition match on Freshman difficulty with as much time as you want. Go into House Rules > Custom AI and set the User Interceptions and Pass Coverage to 100. Then when you play defense, click in the LS to lock onto a player. Keep doing this until the quarterback throws in your direction and return it for a touchdown. It's much easier with the adjusted AI sliders. I used middle linebacker to get it.

In Your Crosshairs10 Spotlight a receiver and get an interception on him in a Play Now or Dynasty game (excludes co-op).

On defense, hold the LT and then press the button over the receiver you wish to spotlight. Keep doing so until the quarterback throws to that receiver and you intercept it. You DO NOT have to return the interception for a touchdown.

Veteran15 Win a game by 35+ points on Heisman difficulty (excludes co-op).

This achievement is also much easier than it seems. Here's how I did it: Exhibition game on Heisman difficulty with 8 minute quarters. I used Alabama and played against Western Kentucky. I won 52-0. Your defense is so good on Heisman, you shouldn't have any trouble stopping them. If you are still having trouble, you can always adjust the Custom AI sliders to help by putting the CPU sliders to 0 and User sliders to 100.

Alternative method [Thanks to Exempt CrzyArab]: You can also get this achievement by SuperSim. Just select a good team, like Alabama or Texas, and play against a D- team with 12 minute quarters. Just SuperSim the entire game and you should win by a large margin.

Best Class Ever15 Have the #1 ranked recruiting class in a season in single team Dynasty Mode.

Simply create 5 or 6 5 star recruits from the hometown of your college and you should easily get the #1 recruiting class. Make sure recruiting is set to Freshman.

Point Some Fingers20 In a single phone call, take 250 points away from one school by downplaying pitches.

Set recruiting to Freshman. Go into recruiting with a good team, such as Alabama or Texas, and find a prospect that has a very bad school as the one you will be competing against. The downplayed against Tulane when I got it. Choose to call for 6 topics. Make sure the pitch topic is good for your school and bad for theirs. If not, use one of your 3 switches. When you find one that is good (A or A+) for your school and bad for theirs (C+ or lower), compare the schools. By using a school with poor rankings, you should get about 270 points on 6 topics. You will probably need to look for 2 or 3 star recruits for this.

One Hit Wonder25 Get an instant commit from a prospect by offering a scholarship on a one topic call.

Here's what I did for this achievement and it was very, very easy. I set up a new Dynasty with Alabama and recruiting on Freshman. I created a 99 overall recruit from Tuscaloosa, Alabama (where the university is located) and offered him a scholarship week one. He committed instantly. So just create a recruit from the hometown of your school and you should get it easily.

Switcheroo20 Secure a commitment from a prospect that was a soft commit elsewhere.

Make sure recruiting is on Freshman. Find a school that is soft to a school and has you as their #2 school. It works better against bad teams, so you can downplay their pitches. Just downplay 6 topics on that school for that prospect every week until he switches to your school.

Don't Call It a Comeback30 Convince a player with an overall rating of 95 or higher to stay.

Choose a team (I used Alabama) and make a LOT of the older players 95 or higher. Now with a bunch of players 95 or higher, you can sim through the season and will at least have a decent record. When you go to the players leaving section of the offseason, there should be several players wanting to go into the Pro Draft. Just spend 60 minutes on each one until you get one to stay. If you want the achievement bad enough, you can purchase the Coaching Seminar time saver with 160 Microsoft points to make it easier.

Program Changer25 Sign a 5-star QB or HB with a 2-star prestige school in a single team Dynasty (no ATH).

The following method here is copied directly from SmoothPancakes (Thank you very much, SmoothPancakes!]

Once you have your prospects created, the teams ahead of you, create coaches and take over their teams and remove the prospect from their recruiting boards. Then sit there doing whatever you have to do with multiple coaches/teams until you are the only one with any chance of signing him. Then, when you feel a signing is imminent, delete all the coaches you created (until you are only in control of your team).

I can confirm this works. I got a 5 star HB (non-created actually) from Wisconsin with my teambuilder Alaska State team by taking over Michigan and sabotaging their recruitment of the prospect. In fact, I got the achievement AFTER the fact. The guy signed with me before I deleted any of the 5-10 or so coaches I had created (and had sabotaging recruiting for LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida, Texas, etc) after week 10. I just deleted the coaches, simmed forward a week into week 12, and the achievement popped for me.

Setup Shop In the Big 3 20 In a single team Dynasty, develop new pipelines in Texas, California, and Florida.

Ok, I got this achievement by purchasing the Extra Pipeline State Time Saver. I do not want to sound like I am talking you into paying 160 points for an achievement. Just wanted to let everyone know that it will work.

Non-Time Saver method: [Thanks to pivotalRAGE IV] Pick Vandy as your team because it already has Texas and Florida as pipelines. Go into your season and fill your board with 1-3 star recruits from California ONLY (The lower the better). The achievement is based on the number of players coming out of a specific state not the quality of the players. Go into your recruiting menu and make sure that you go down to the bottom left hand corner to select your Recruiting Plan. The first screen there has an option for the CPU to assist in placing players on and off your board. Set that to OFF so that the CPU doesn't take any of the players away. Sim the entire season and since you will be competing for players against schools like SJSU and CSU you are likely to sign at least 4-5 at which point I got California as a pipeline and thus the achievement.

Time Saver method: Purchase the Extra Pipeline State Time Saver. Set up a new Dynasty with Vanderbilt. Yes, I said Vanderbilt haha. Vanderbilt already has Texas and Florida as pipeline states, so all you have to do is add California with the Extra Pipeline and there is your achievement.

Burn That Shirt15 Remove the redshirt from a player in a game, and earn player of the game status with that player.

Start a new Dynasty and redshirt a key player, such as running back. When you go to the first game of the season, press start and put that player in at starting position. Then make sure you do well enough with that player to earn player of the game.

Crash the Party15 In a single team Dynasty, earn an invite to a BCS game with a team from a non-BCS conference.

Start up a single team Dynasty with Boise State. Boise State is a non-BCS school that starts out as #5. You can either play through the games or sim through. Besides the first game against Virginia Tech, the rest of Boise State's schedule is easy. I simmed through the entire season, losing only to VT week 1, ended up #4 and got invited to the Sugar Bowl.

Picking Up Yards15 In a solo Dynasty or Road to Glory season, have a player with an avg 6+ yds per carry (min 100 att).

Play through a season of solo Dynasty on Freshman difficulty with a good running back, such as Mark Ingram from Alabama. Make sure you have 100 carries and you should easily get 6 yards a carry on Freshman.

Mr. Efficiency15 In a solo Dynasty or Road to Glory season, have a QB with a completion % of 65+ (min. 100 attempts).

Play through a season of solo Dynasty on Freshman difficulty with a good quarterback, such as Pryor from Ohio State or Ponder from Florida State. Make sure you have at least 100 attempts. If you have any trouble, just set the User Custom AI to 100 on QB accuracy.

20/20 Club25 In a solo Dynasty or Road to Glory season, get 20+ passing and 20+ rushing TD's with one player.

Play through a season of solo Dynasty on Freshman difficulty with a good quarterback that is also fast (for example, Pryor from Ohio State.) Throw for 20 touchdowns and run the quarterback from Shotgun to get 20 rushing touchdowns as well.

What a Weekend30 Invite 5 or more recruits to a game and get all A- or better visit grades in a single user Dynasty.

If you are using a good school, like Alabama or Texas, on Freshman recruiting difficulty, this should not be too difficult. Just make sure you have 5 recruits scheduled for one game, and make sure you know their preferences so you can schedule their visits for things they prefer and that your school is good at. I had about 7 recruits when I got it. I played the game just in case, and they all had at least A-.

Survivor20 Be the last remaining undefeated team in a single team Dynasty season.

Simply play through a Freshman, 1 minute quarter, Dynasty until there are no other undefeated teams. If you need to, put good teams like Texas and Alabama in your schedule to take them out early.

Simply Perfect30 Play an entire season in a single team Dynasty and remain undefeated.

Play through a Freshman, 1 minute quarter Dynasty and do not lose. You can always quit a game if you are losing. Note: If you are trying for Untouchable while trying for this one, you may need longer quarters to win each game by 21 points.

Perfect From the Start30 In a single team Dynasty, maintain a #1 ranking for the entire season.

Best way to do this is start out as Alabama. MAKE SURE you have a large amount of ranked opponents on your schedule. I had several on my list and got jumped by the Washington Huskies later in the season. Play a season on Freshman, 1 minute quarters and make sure you win EVERY game. Note: If you are trying for Untouchable while trying for this one, you may need longer quarters to win each game by 21 points.

Untouchable25 In a single team Dynasty, win all games in a season by 21+. (Must play the BCS title game)

Unlike the other Dynasty achievements, you may need more time for this one. Set up a Dynasty on Freshman difficulty with quarter length on whatever you feel comfortable with.

Treasure Hunter30 Win all bowl trophies (including National Championship) in Dynasty or Road to Glory modes.

Start up a Dynasty, and sim through it up until Bowl Week 1. Play and win each bowl game for that season, doesn't matter which team you play as.

High School Champ15 Play and win the High School Championship Game in any state.

Go to Play Career and start a Road to Glory. You will play 4 games in the High School Playoffs with your Road to Glory character. Simply win all four for the achievement. If you are losing, just quit the game and restart.

Blue Chip15 Become a 5-star prospect in Road to Glory Mode.

To get 5-star prospect going into your college football career, you need to have won the State Championship and have done decent in your playoff games. Just play on Freshman and win all the games with about 3-4 touchdowns in each game.

Earned Your PT15 Become a starter in Road to Glory Mode.

If you are a 5-star prospect, there are several schools you can get a starting job at immediately. One good school to select is Notre Dame. If you want a certain school, you might have to work your way up.

Strike the Pose15 Win the Heisman Memorial Trophy® in single team Dynasty Mode or Road to Glory Mode.

If you are doing Road to Glory with a quarterback for this one, audible into pass plays when the coach calls run so that you can get more stats. It is best to do this in Dynasty, where you control everyone. Just play a Dynasty with 3-4 minute quarters on Freshman and focus on ONE player's stats.

Campus Legend15 In Road to Glory Mode, earn a spot on your team's All-Time leaderboard.

This achievement is NOT based on the Online Leaderboards, but the Offline Leaderboards instead. You can check the leaderboards in Stats and Records to see how many points you need to be on it. Just create a player with 99 overall outside of Road to Glory and then choose an existing player in Road to Glory. Now you can sim through until you get the achievement. If you want to get it legit, you can go in and change your difficulty to Freshman and also modify anything else you need to. Using either of these methods, you WILL NOT be included on the Online Leaderboards. To get on the team All-Time leaderboard, you will need about 1200 points. I got it around the start of year 2.

Head and Shoulders Above15 In Road to Glory Mode, earn a spot on your conference's All-Time leaderboard.

This achievement is NOT based on the Online Leaderboards, but the Offline Leaderboards instead. You can check the leaderboards in Stats and Records to see how many points you need to be on it. Just create a player with 99 overall outside of Road to Glory and then choose an existing player in Road to Glory. If you want to get it legit, you can go in and change your difficulty to Freshman and also modify anything else you need to. Using either of these methods, you WILL NOT be included on the Online Leaderboards. How many points you need depends on the conference. I was Notre Dame and only needed 1400 but with large conferences, you may need more.

Greatness90 In Road to Glory Mode, earn a spot on the NCAA All-Time leaderboard.

You need 2100 points to get on the NCAA All-Time leaderboard.

There is a third option for the above achievements that is even easier. [Thanks to goothgone]
Choose a 99 RE from existing players. Go into House Rules and turn penalties off. Now you can go across the line of scrimmage before the snap and stand next to the quarterback. When he snaps the ball, sack him. Should get the achievement in around 3 games.

Spread no huddle does not unlock until the end of the game. The Aggressive spread one unlocks right when you score.

for RED ZONE PERFECTION and RED ZONE SHUTOUT you do need at least one score and one score attempt from the red zone respectively.

On SPEED READER the easiest way to find that READ OPTION is to select your play by type - then scroll to option - then scroll left to the play...again you must make sure you chose option offense.

I think for Red Zone Shutout the team has to be in the red zone once. My first game was 52-0 and it didn't pop because the other team went 3 and out every time. Also for This D is For... kick return yards count, so if you want the achievement kick/punt out of bounds.

Instant Commit Achievement:

Here is what I did. Hope this helps out. For the first two weeks my Rank 1 person was already interested in UF as his number one choice. The first week of recruiting I did the 6 topics and didn't pitch anything, I just found out what he was interested in. The second week I did another six topics. This time if he didn't like the topic I changed it and pitched/brought down everything A+ or High and up for him. Bringing down school 2 helped out by bad talking them. Still do not offer a scholarship. Week three I repeated week two. When week four came around I did one topic call and offered a scholarship. Instant accept.

This may not work for everyone but it worked perfectly for me.

Heisman win no. Just make a 99 player and sim a season.

Others yes, if they aren't on the same team. So if it's player vs player you can get the achievements.

You can Super sim once you have completed the stats for the Offensive ones (Air Raid, Option Offense) also Super Sim Alabama vs. Buffalo Bulls 12 minutes Heisman and if they win by more than 35, (I won 92-0) you will unlock it

Others yes, if they aren't on the same team. So if it's player vs player you can get the achievements.

I think DarkManX was referring to the Veteran achievement,
win a game by 35+ points on Heisman difficulty, not unlocking the achievement for winning the Heisman trophy.

Great guide so far. Should be an easy 1000, of course the Dynasty achievements might be a little time consuming.

I found an easy way to do point some fingers. Use a big name school (like LSU or Alabama) and start recruiting 2 star players. I tried it on a good 3 players and got it, and got close the first two times. Make sure the schools their looking at are rather small.

All you need to do is choose a 6 star team and recruit an in-state 1 star recruit. Then downplay every pitch against a low end school on his list. This can be done in the first week of recruiting. Choose a six pitch phone call on the prospect and if a random pitch comes up that is less than an "A" rating, then you have three choices to choose another pitch. With most six star schools you do not have many ratings below "A". The greater the difference between your rating and the other teams rating the more points you will take away on that pitch. So it should be easy breezy against the likes of say Akron or UAB.

Also FYI:

I started my first Dynasty with ALABAMA because they start off as #1 and there is an achievement for holding #1 all season.

For the INSTANT COMMIT one - I created 4 prospects before the season in my home town and offered them all a scholarship on a 10 min call. The first one popped the achievement.

Yeah that's what I was talking about all of these can probably be obtained using two controllers.

One thing to keep in mind is that there is another use for the same strategy as playing all the bowl games. You mess with teams by playing their games and losing bad - This will help with being the only team undefeated at the end of the season and possibly ruin some Heisman contendors. A strategy that has worked for me in the past.

Strange that you mentioned that actually, because I am doing that right now to be the only undefeated team. The undefeated teams remaining in my dynasty were me (Alabama), those frickin Washington Huskies that jumped me, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and Houston. So I'm gonna make sure the latter 3 lose their bowl games and then defeat Washington for the achievement.

I'm down to 3 achievements: Program Changer, Setup Shop In the Big 3, and Crash the Party. Program Changer and Setup Shop look like they will be the hardest 2 in the game. Anyone have insight or tips on those?

A suggestion maybe...

It might be helpful, for the in-game achievements with certain offenses, to put in the guide maybe 2 or 3 teams that use that particular offense. From what I gathered while playing, you can't choose the offense of a team, and your guide might be misleading saying "Choose any team you feel comfortable using and set the Offense to xx offense." Unless someone knows how to change the offense to whatever you want. I was basically playing Dynasty games, and I know it can't be chosen there. Maybe in Play Now?

For the "Campus Legend," "Head & Shoulders Above" and "Greatness" achievements, they are exactly the same as last year. I got them by editing the RE on Notre Dame to all 99's and using him in RTG by simming the seasons. I got the "Head & Shoulders" the first season, "Campus" the second and "Greatness" the third. Easy peesy. Might want to take a look at last year's guide and somehow incorporate that into yours. The points I got them on were ~175, ~300 and ~840.

For "Don't Call it a Comeback," what I did is right after the season ended and people were leaving, I had maybe 3 or 4 players that were 95 or above. One was a senior, 3 were juniors. Of those juniors, 2 had pro contracts. The first one didn't budge, but on the second one, I convinced him to stay. I think it's random who stays or who goes, but I think it helps having an undefeated record (I used an edited Alabama).

For "Crash the Party," it's the same as last year again. Use Boise State and go undefeated (by winning and saving or reloading if you lose). Win your Conference Championship also and the achievement should unlock after the Bowl weeks are done.

Otherwise great guide, it's helped me a lot.

Also, for "1st Option for 6," what team has a triple option? I know that might be a dumb question, but the 4 teams I played with last night (Alabama, Texas, Boise State and some 2-star school) didn't have a triple option play.

EDIT: Georgia State has a triple option.

I was wondering why people weren't using last year's method. I figured it would work.

I might be doing something wrong here, but when I sim in RTG, I only get 40 points or so a season, not close to 200. Is there something I'm missing?

I just completed the 4 seasons in RTG using the Notre Dame HB method and only received "campus legend" and "head and shoulders above"

To Adiains: did you max out your players stats to 99?

EDIT: I thought you put RB not RE.....trying RE right now

Yep, RE, for Right End, defense. It's easy if you pick Notre Dame since there are only 3 teams in that conference, and Army & Navy aren't real competitors.

Are you maxing out his stats to 99? Don't just make him a 99 overall, maximize his defensive stats instead of say Throwing Power or Spectacular Catch. I had around 200 at the end of the first season, around 600 at the end of the second and I think 900 or so at the end of the third. You don't have to go week to week and win all the games, just go to week 15 and sim all of them at the same time. One thing I don't like this year is that your stats don't update after simming after every week like previous years. It waits until the simming is done then tallies everything. Not an improvement.

Yeah I maxed out his stats that were needed for him to be great, I sim a game and he has 0 tackles. I must need to change the Depth Chart before going into RTG. Does difficulty affect the points accumulated? Its annoying that I'm getting 40 points a season, but you're getting 200+...

I had the difficulty on Freshman. The only time I changed it was when I did a Dynasty game to go for the Heisman difficulty win achievement. All others I have gotten on Freshman.

Yea, maybe change the depth chart. I edited the better/first RE anyway; maybe you did the other one. That's a possibility. Also, turn fatigue off. That way he doesn't get tired and get subbed out. I also had offsides off, but I don't think that has anything to do with the game if you are simming.
