Does anyone know if the DLC has any new rare item drops? I'm having a hard time justifying $5 for one map.

Yes there are new rare drops for the DLC. Plus Winged Boots drop a lot more common.

ZiggaMan1's Gamercard
So far boss chest Ch 7 Hard I've seen:

Badelaire (Alucard only)
Bloodstone (Alucard)
Caviar
Demon's Mail (except PoR characters)
Foie Gras
God's Garb
Kaladbolg (Soma)
Minerva Mail (Shanoa)
Paladumentum
Platinum Mail (except Charlotte)
Robe Decollete (women only)
Royal Crown
Valkyrie Mail (Shanoa)
Valmanway (men only besides Jonathan)
Venus Brooch (women)
Winged Boots

The only Normal drops worth noting are a couple new items:
Kalasiris - purple & boss chests
Uraeus - purple & boss

I'll try to keep this updated & edit.

According to this list here, all the stuff in blue is suppose to be in the DLC...

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...0E&hl=en#gid=0

This was released weeks ago, way before the DLC...and so far most of it seems to be accurate...so where is this Miser ring? Has anyone seen it drop or got it?

Also, the Badelaire is a god damn rip off. It says "Sword whose power increases based on your total playtime"...and yet I have 200 hours and the sword is capped at 49...awesome.

Is that what it means? I assumed it meant total playtime, as in your hours of play...not the amount of time you actually used the weapon...Even though that IS how it worked in SOTN (it got stronger the more you used it), the description in this game (HoD) makes me think otherwise...We'll see, I will use it for a few hours and see if it gets stronger...

I really think it is the same as SotN, not sure though.

I also saw many winged boots drops from Astharte, still don't have one.

I've seen them handed out 4 times now on just Ch.7, and not one pair given to me.

What is the weapon that Soma/Alucard uses that is a powerful flurry of blows that seems so popular and what level can I find it?

Those "blender" weapons are the Yasutsuna and the Valmanway...

Yasutsunas can be found mainly in purple chests on chap. 5 hard, but can also be found in boss chests on chap. 5, 6 and 7 hard. It is more efficient when used by Alucard though, as he can walk while attacking with these weapons.

Valmanways are rare drops from boss chest on chap. 6 and 7 hard!

I assume this only drops for Soma and Alucard?

The Yasutsuna is useless with soma his nebula is way better. I got 2 Valmanway in 1 day. One from dracula online (killed him maybe 8 times) and one from Astarte on single player (killed her about 20 times).

Maybe, but it worked out well on Alucard with only 1 to beat the game on normal to unlock his gamer pic which was one of my biggedt reasons for wanting it or the other weapon.

Now I'm farming souls for Soma and then I'll start Item hunting again while I grind out my last achievement, 10,000 kills

Also, what is best item for restoring MP. In previous games there was a ring or something that replaced MP faster than you could spend it usually. Sage Ring sux and apparently doesnt stack

Chaos Ring is what you're looking for. Can be found on chapter 3 hard boss chest, and they stack. They're good alongside Robe Decolette which also increases MP regen rate, but it's found on the DLC chapter 7 hard boss chest. You can also take a consumable item such as Milk or Coffee which also increase MP regen rate, but only for a limited time or until you cancel it out with another consumable.

Yasutsuna is only better with alucard cuz its constant. Weird how valmanway is constant for both yet the yasutsuna is only constant for alucard.

Which character (non DLC) gives you the best chance to get a Choas Ring? I almost soley use Alucard/Soma but am willing to try with other characters.
