'Fastest' Way to Level 50/70 [Exploit]

After completing the game once and ending at around level 37, i started to think what would be the best way to get to level 50 and net myself one of the last achievements. I love this game but i don't think i could bring myself to do pretty much another playthrough.

So i trawled around the internet for a while and found a video showing me how to get 20,000 Exp every 1-2 minutes.

Before people start telling me to play the game and not exploit my way to max level etc. Remember, i'm not telling you to do this. I'm just saying what i did to get to level 50.

I'm also aware that this game is nearly a year old but it is still very popular. I only got the game the other day so forgive me if this is old news.

This glitch isn't necessarily the fastest way to level up. Unless, like me, you don't have a very high level friend to sponge exp from or have any of the DLC. In which case it is the best method.

thats pretty cool, good way to do it if you dont have expansions i guess. You should see taking a low level to crawmerax though, you can go 1 - 50 proficiency in any gun type after just a few crawmy runs, as well as a rediculous amount of xp

I'm 100% sure this still takes much longer than getting a friend who is a level 61 to run through tougher bosses and the last area leading up to the Vault (lots of Guardians) on playthrough 2.

You can go from 0 to 50 in less than a couple hours if done right.

This looks like it would work really well but i would feel like such a cheat if i did that. I might still try it though.

I don't doubt it. The Crawermax method is probably faster but i don't have a friend who is level 61 and i don't have any of the DLC either.

This method was better for me.

The Crawmerax method is the best way to level up fast and max out all weapon proficiency.

Crawmy is good if you have people that wanna spend some time killing it over and over again...

But this method seems like it would work, if you don't already have that particular trophy item done... I know in my main game I already have it so for this to work for me I'd have to use one of my other characters, which is fine, cause I need to get the chievo's related to the other characters...

The compy I'm on doesn't have Flash enabled (work computer) so I'll have to check it out later. It may be good for a quick boost in levels if things get too difficult, if nothing else. Or maybe a way to power level a secondary character.

That's a good trick, but I don't think that's the fastest way if you're only getting 20k every couple minutes. If you use the Knox DLC after you have had the motorhead mission, you can keep reloading it and get 50 to 80k every couple minutes.

If your doing the crawmerax method the trick is not to kill him, just the smaller dudes. i bet you could go from 0 to 60 in about 20 - 30 minutes.

The entire point of this post is for people who dont have the DLCs or dont have XBL. This makes it incredibly easy to level up in those situations. Great find!

Oh wow. This is news to me. Never heard of the exploit. Sounds great, though you could just powerlevel in promonotory if you don't have any DLCs...

On an unrated side note...I noticed you had a Vizio. I'd like to put a "Buyer Beware" sign up for anyone who owns or better yet considering buying one. Mine went out and when I checked internet to see if anyone had a fix...wow this company is a lemon.

Back to a tube screen television for me after having a flat screen for a year. Horrible transition, never knew how much I loved the flat screen.

Do you have to exit the game each time? Because after you 'buy back' you can just sell it again, right?
