Either I'm really dumb or this game isn't a 2/10 at all!
Getting gold on missions is a roller coaster, some are really, really easy, others a total pain. Can someone that has done it already please post some nice strategies and combos for the combats?
I find it really hard to go from one enemy to the other, they are all above or bellow me circling all the time, making me lose time finding someone to attack. Even using the best armor that kills everything in 2 hits on the second level of the desert, I still was more than 2 minutes above the time for gold!
Got gold on all story missions. The 3 hardest ones are in fact the first 3 of the desert chapter that I was struggling before. The last chapter is actually the easiest, got gold in every mission on my first try. The snow chapter is also pretty easy to get gold. In the forest chapter there's that stupid scort mission that's somewhat boring / hard to get gold, all the rest is pretty simple.
I still think a 2 is pretty low for this game, I would rate it a 4 or 5 I suppose. My Horse and Me 2 has a 2 on difficulty and is pretty dumb game to 1000. My point is, it won't be a walk in the park, but it's possible to get gold on all missions in one day like I did, just forget about medals until you get the last 2 armors.

Maybe it is just you. I got Gold medals just fine. Like I said, focus directly on the goal, ignore enemies if you can.
If you must fight, use wingmen, then attack the enemies yourself. Use this combo - X, X, Y - this pushes them back and sets it up for another attack.
For the Hagsfiends, do X, X, B (since you can't use Y attacks), then as they fall, move onto another enemie up in the sky, ignore the bird that just dropped.
For the enemies with 3 pieces of armor, do the following - Y, Y, B - the always counter your third Y attack, but they will be grabbed. Launch them at a wall to smash the third piece.
Maintaining a chain is also helpful as you get the fire talons, which hurts enemies as they fall or fly around.
I believe this game is extremely easy to 1000. Achievement difficulty is just that - how difficult are the achievements. These aren't difficult. You will get all 950 in one playthrough, the other 3 times are for the final achievement. I stand by my 2/10. I gave it a 2 only because I had to retry a couple levels - mainly the ones that required protecting birds.

I just got my last gold medal on bonus missions, definitely it's not a walk in park, the gold medals are extremely unbalanced. Speed Flying medals are fine, not too much time, not too little. Owlet Rescue and Bombing are jokes, you get twice the amount of time needed to finish them. But the Surival medals are hard. The last one again was the easiest of all since you have 16 minutes and the fight most of time goes to a high place where you can use the dive attack to instant kill the Hagsfiends.
But again, extremely unbalanced, you gotta get good on the combat to pass the mission with a gold and everything else is a joke.
It's not a hard game, not at all, but it has some frustrating parts like I said, because 90% of the game is really easy and suddenly you get to a mission that's not so easy to master. Now I pretty much just have to finish the game 3 more times to get my full 1000.
All in all, it's a pretty good title, decent gameplay, decent graphics, a TON of slowdown on the downside. I just expected it to be a walk in the park before starting and in the end it wasn't, but overall, pretty simple game to 1000.
