Beginner: I'm not that flexible YET!

I'm doing a beginner's training program and everything is going fine up until the 'side thrusts'. I have my legs spread apart as far as they will go (har har). I'd say what I'm doing is acceptable, but the game thinks otherwise. So whenever I am doing side thrusts, I score a 0%. If I am unable to stretch out even further, why would they put this in the beginner's program?

Anyone else have this problem?

I noticed that on a few exercises I tried today - my first day using it. It wanted me to squat lower than I could. On one exercise, it wanted me to take one leg down so low it would have been on the floor and me falling over had I actually taken it that low. I'm hoping as I progress (and hopefully get more flexible) that this won't be a problem any longer.

I'm getting something similar. I had a little bit better luck later on. A few things I noticed:
1- Make sure you are leaning forward like they are
2- Look at your camera placement. Can it see your feet? It is possible it doesn't have a good point of reference to see that your legs are spread too far.
