The Real DB's Gamercard
HOPO Advice?

Ok firstly, I suck at the game, mainly because I try to do things that I can't lol. Anyway I'm having an issue with HOPO's... I have no trouble in the tutorial, but whenever I try in the career it doesn't work?

I'm playing You Really Got Me which has a very fast start, same placement as the tutorial, but I hold Green, strum and quickly switch to Red without strumming.. fail? But thats exactly what the tutorial teaches? I got through by having the constantly switch at lightning speed but I'm at a much later stage of the career and these Hammer On's and Pull-Offs (which are just reversed Hammer on's right?) are gonna be needed soon, but I still have pull a single one off?
And dumbest post on the internet goes to...

the only advice i can give, is put the faster hopos parts on practice and slow down the speed until you get the timing on, then move to faster speeds.

the timing window for hammer ons on guitar hero 2 is narrow, and specially difficult to master if you´ve already played other games on the series that have a wider timing window.
completed games:
retail + dlc: 18
retail: 40
last retail: Gears of War

xbla + dlc: 3
xbla: 52
last arcade: Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2
