Collectible Guide

Collectible Guide: By Tyger7

These are written directions as well as map pictures to help you get all of the collectibles in the game! There are achievements associated with gaining all costumes, all fruits, and all memory shards. Also, the life shard chests (the most common of them) will help you level your character up which is another achievement. These all add up to a good amount of achievements.

Warning: You must open the chests in the first few areas of Arkela Castle. You will not be able to go back to those areas after you leave, not even when coming back later on in the game.

Important Info About Memory Shards

Memory Shards will only appear at nightfall. Your HUD will show you what time of the day it is (besides being obviously light or dark). What it also does is show you how close you are to it becoming either day or night before it happens. This alerts you so you get somewhat of a headstart to shards you need. I have timed it and it will change about every 15 minutes, but you must be active in the game. Pausing it will pause the timer. It would be best if you just plan ahead and get all shards at night when you run around. If you have to wait 15 minutes, you can go back later or just wait it out, taking care in real life or doing whatever.

The Collectible Types

In addition to these collectibles, there are the following:

Fire Upgrade Fruit

Lightning Upgrade Fruit

Wind Upgrade Fruit

Purification Upgrade Fruit

Map Details
When you highlight the certain areas of the map, it will show you a ? symbol stating you have something else to find in that area. To check your map, press . It will also show what you have gotten and the ? symbols will be gone. This is a good way to figure out where you need to look. Most of these are extremely easy to find and you really don't need a guide...but what I will say is this will save you a lot of time hunting for a few you may normally have missed.

Note: The first area in this game does not have the feature to tell you what you are missing nor what you have obtained.

Underground Storehouse

Life Shards: The first chest in the game is located after talking to a red bird. You won’t miss this one, since it’ll be on your way to the next area (on the right on the top level after jumping up).

Royal Chambers

Life Shards: Once you enter the Royal Chambers you will hear the Majin snoring. Go ahead and drop down to the very bottom of the area and circle around until you find the treasure chest

Underground Storehouse

Life Shards: After talking to the Majin, you will pass by this chest while jumping over a gap to get to another area (it’s the rocky looking area on the map).

Underground Storehouse

Stamina Fruit: This is story related and you must get it to move on.

Corridor

Life Shards: After doing some sneaking around to pull the switch and then fighting the enemies with the Majin, it’s in an obvious spot to the left next to the door you must go through.

Arkela Castle - Gate

Life Shards: After encountering the cut scene, continue on your path the rocky area on your right has a chest with life shards.

Arkela Castle – Gate

Memory Shard: This is right next to the main castle gate.
Note: This can only be obtained at night.

Ungdo Flower Patch

Life Shards: After getting to the trebuchet you can launch yourself into the air. Operate with when standing close to move it to the left to launch yourself on a ledge with a treasure chest. Climb in with and command the Majin .
Note: To move the trebuchet around, the Majin cannot be actively holding it. Launch yourself

Ungdo Flower Patch

Memory Shard: The little ledge the parrot is in front of (with a sign about the trebuchet) has a Memory Shard on top of it. (Reminder: Memory Shards only appear during night time).

Ungdo Flower Patch

Costume: Guard’s Knight’s Gauntlets: When you catapult to the area with the rocks, you’ll notice a stone wall. Carry the rock down and set it by the trebuchet. Move the trebuchet at an angle and launch the rock to smash it. Now you should move it and catapult again. You have a clear path now to grab this chest.

Tagalo Forest Checkpoint

Life Shards: As you enter this area after the save point, you will see the chest on the ledge nearby. Have the Majin crouch and then jump on him then onto the ledge.

Tagalo Forest Checkpoint

Memory Shard: After you dispatch of the enemies, you should have noticed a big rotating lever. Command the Majin to use it, and then you may go through the door. Within there is a bell and behind that to the right is the Memory Shard. An alternate route is going through the other open door and climbing up the hill, then going over to the area.

Tagalo Forest Checkpoint

Strength Fruit: You should notice the glowing red fruit, but if not it’s on a ledge to the right of the three circular pillars (if looking on the map).

Tagalo Forest Checkpoint

Life Shards: If you’re still on the ledge with the fruit, look to your left and you’ll see a chest on a stone gate. Go through the open door and to your right. Follow the path up the hill and run across/around the main gate area (you’ll have to jump to the side).

Toto Waterfall – Power Plant

Stamina Fruit: There is a new type of enemy guarding this fruit, you will notice it when you enter this area. You must jump across to it, and then throw rocks at the black things on the ground. Then rush in and keep attacking. Now you may go around to the back and jump up to get the fruit.

Toto Waterfall – Power Plant

Life Shards: You’ll notice to the left of the Stamina Fruit is a series of pillars leading to a chest. You’ll easily be able to figure out where to jump from and gain access to it.

Toto Waterfall – Power Plant

Life Shards: If you run along the top of this area (map wise) you’ll see a small area wedged between some cliff walls on the left. There is a chest between. This is just before a save statue as well as the B’alam Laboratory area.

Toto Waterfall – Power Plant

Memory Shard: To the right of the chest you can jump onto the slope (with or without the Majin). Continue on the path to get to the easy to spot shard.

B’alam Laboratory
Life Shards: When you enter the area there is a chest you can access without using the Lightning power. It’s easy to find in the East section. You will have to come back for the rest of the collectibles at a later time when you get the Lightning Power.
B’alam Laboratory
Memory Shard: (Required Power: Lightning) Walk through the hole in the wall with all the conductors. Move them to the generator you can switch and have Majin use his power to activate it. After the door opens you’ll see the shard.
B’alam Laboratory
Life Shards: Move into the next section and climb up and turn completely around. You will see the chest.
B’alam Laboratory
Costume Chest (Bandit’s Hood): From the previous chest, jump to this one.
B’alam Laboratory
Strength Fruit: To get to this you must now activate the rest of the generators to bring Majin up with you. Once you do that and get him up on the top level, have him activate the last generator so you can get to the fruit.

Potrachi Altar

Life Shards: When you enter the area, keep to your right. You will see a boulder at the end of a long set of stairs (not steep at all, they are very gradual). To your left is a wall while going up the stairs, and near the end you can jump and grab onto the ledge and pull yourself up. Now follow that straight ahead and drop down, then you’ll see the chest.

Potrachi Altar

Strength Fruit: After grabbing the previous chest, use the boulder to kill the nearby enemies. Have Majin crouch where they were and jump up. Climb to the wooden platform and you’ll easily see the red glowing fruit.

Potrachi Altar

Memory Shard: If you follow the wooden platform where you got the fruit, you will find this at the dead end.

Potrachi Altar

Costume Chest: Return to the entrance of this area. To the left of that entrance is a ladder. Use Majin to jump up. Use the barrels to blow up the rocks and crouch through the new hole. Jump up to the area with the stairs and at the top are more barrels. Grab one and go back down to the corner closest to the entrance of the area. Blow it up and crouch through to get the costume set piece.

Potrachi Altar

Life Shards: Your objective is guarded by an archer. After you kill the archer, go around to the right where you see explosive barrels. Grab one and bring it with you to the opposite side, and throw it down to the rocks. Now crouch through that hole to get a chest.

Graveyard

Life Shards: While finding the lever you’ll encounter an archer enemy. The chest is very obvious and you’ll see it on your main path to get to the said lever.

Graveyard

Stamina Fruit: You will eventually get to the next section of this area and you’ll have a lot of enemies to deal with and the new power to grab. Go up the path where the archers are/were and you’ll see the green glowing fruit.

Graveyard

Memory Shard: Just after the fruit, you’ll see the shard on your left.

Graveyard

Life Shards: Go back and keep going straight and you’ll see a chest on a ledge to your left.

Graveyard

Costume Chest: Guard Knight Armor: From the above chest, you should notice the costume chest as well, close by in the indention in the wall.

Excavation Site

Life Shards: After the save point right before this area, drop to your left for a chest.

Excavation Site

Memory Shard: In the area where there are 2 archers that you can blow down with (wind attack), you’ll notice this shard on the planks above on the left side facing the door you must go through.

Excavation Site

Life Shards: To the right of the switch on the planks is a chest.

Hawme’a Falls

Memory Shard: The second bridge must be dropped down via a switch. Straight ahead from the bridge you’ll see a memory shard (on the map it is on the T junction by the rocks).

Denguey Forest Tower

Life Shards: Shortly entering the area you’ll notice a piece of land mass you can go up and it arches to another piece of land. You’ll see the chest there.

Denguey Forest Tower

Memory Shard: Inside the first door you went underneath, go by the circular structure and you’ll see a lizard. Have Majin crouch there and jump up. Once up there you should see the shard towards the wall. (The way to break the seal here is to follow the path up there to a switch. Pull the switch then get on the gate that dropped. Now command Majin to lift it up).

Pele Bridge

Costume Piece (Scholar’s Hat): At the start of the area by the bridge, jump down left and have Majin break the base of the bridge so you can move across a gap to the chest. Now have Majin crouch so you can get up there.

Pele Bridge

Memory Shard: Head backwards from the chest and you’ll see the shard on your left. Use the Majin to crouch and jump up to it.

Pele Bridge

Life Shards: As you continue through the bottom path you’ll see the chest up on another ledge that you must use Majin for, on the right.

Pele Bridge

Fire Power Upgrade (Fire Power Required): Continue on the path and keep straight to see some boxes to burn. Go through and have Majin crouch so you can jump up onto the platforms. You’ll see the fruit in the corner. If looking at the map, this corner is the North East one.

Pele Bridge

Life Shards (Fire Power Required): From the fruit, jump on the platforms and make your way to the switch. Might be a little tricky to jump, but you can make it to the switch. Running then jumping may help. After you pull the switch, go through the door and look to your right.

Pele Bridge

Costume Piece (Bandit’s Manifer) (Fire Power and Lightning Power required): After the last chest, follow the route the rest of the way and have Majin activate the generator. Now go all the way back down from the area with the boxes and you should see the big enemy guarding the gate. After you eliminate the enemies, just pull the switch to bring the chest down.

Tangalo’a Swamp – Moving Bridges

Life Shards: Upon entering the area, and seeing a save point, look to your left and you should see a wooden structure. Climb up to the top for a chest.

Tangalo’a Swamp – Moving Bridges

Memory Shard: At the top of the map for this area is wooden structure (look for the red block on your map). At the top of this structure is the shard.

Tangalo’a Swamp – Moving Bridges

Life Shards: On the East side of the map for this area is another chest, on top of a ledge (on the map it’s the brown square by the red area). You must climb up the ladder and make your way up, then drop down to it.

Tangalo’a Swamp – Moving Bridges

Stamina Fruit: (Required Power: Lightning) You must come back for this after acquiring the lightning power. After you do that, just have Majin activate the last 2 generators in the area so you can use the switches. Make a straight line on the East side so you can carry a bomb to the area with the ladder. There is some rocks you can blow up to get to a fruit there.

Tangalo’a Swamp – Moving Bridges

Wind Power Up: (Required Power: Lightning) You must come back for this after acquiring the lightning power. Go now to the South West side and make the bridge straight towards the water area. Go across to find the fruit.

Kanay Valley

Wana Mu’bi Fortress

Memory Shard: When entering this area, keep an eye out on the left. You’ll see a gate with a hole in it. Go inside to grab the shard.

Wana Mu’bi Fortress

Costume Chest (Scholar’s Cuff): When you have access to the catapult and the bombs, turn the catapult to the spot you collect water from. After blowing the wall up, launch yourself and go left.

Wana Mu’bi Fortress

Life Shards: After blowing up the wall that’s behind the lowered gate, you’ll see to ledges. The one on the left has a chest.

Wana Mu’bi Fortress

Stamina Fruit: The ledge on the right (read above) is the route you need to go to pull the switch. There is a very obvious fruit on your right as you go to the switch.

Wana Mu’bi Fortress

Life Shards: After pulling that switch above you may now enter the last door in the area. Go through and climb up the ladder to grab the chest at the end of that route.

The Royal Garden

Life Shards: You’ll have to open a gate eventually that leads to water. Once you do this, have the Majin crouch and you by the salamander on the wall and jump up to get to a chest.

The Royal Garden

Life Shards: After having the Majin put water in his mouth, go to the first sets of barrels and jump on the lowered one. Now have the Majin spit out the water on the other barrel so you are raised up and can get the chest.

The Royal Garden

Wind Power Upgrade Fruit: Get more water and go all the way back to the other side. The South-West part of this area has another set of barrels. Once you get there and use the same method as the last chest, you’ll be able to grab the fruit.

The Royal Garden

Memory Shard: Ground level, West side of the area in the middle is the memory shard. If looking at the map it’s the off color square in the middle of the brown areas on the map.

Research Wing

Life Shards: The game will introduce you to a new type of enemy, a stationary one that shoots at you. To the right of this new enemy (after you dispose of it) is a place to use Majin to jump up to the ledge.

Research Wing

Life Shards: When you enter the area and see a ladder in front of you, turn right and go up the that ladder instead. Move right, push the box close to the wall, jump up to that ledge, and continue straight. The chest is on the next ledge up.

Research Wing

Strength Fruit: To the left of the switch you’ll see an area to use Majin to jump up and grab a the fruit.

Research Wing

Memory Shard: Use the switch to bring Majin up with you. Now use Majin to jump up to the next area. Follow the path to the explosive barrels, where a shard is waiting.

Experimental Wing

Life Shards: You’ll see an area where there are enemies. Above that door and to the left is a very easy to see chest. You’ll have to use your new lightning power in this area, so try using it on the generators and the conductor by the generator. The yellow conductors you can actually move.

Experimental Wing

Costume Chest: After you finish the puzzle area by moving the conductors to activate the two switches, duck out and exit and go to your left. You’ll see a chest after opening the door.

Experimental Wing

Memory Shard: After grabbing the above chest, have Majin crouch so you can jump to the shard on your right.

Experimental Wing

Life Shards: When you open a door and there’s a cliff with an archer and 2 of the stationary enemies, go up the ladder, kill them, and grab the chest by them.

Experimental Wing

Stamina Fruit: In the area where you have to align 5 of the conductors, you should notice a hole in the upper left wall while facing Majin behind a closed gate. Jump through it to find the fruit.

Pualata Cargo Shed

Life Shards: You must swing over on a barrel to get to a switch. You’ll notice this chest on the way.

Pualata Cargo Shed

Memory Shard: Under the area with the chest is the shard.

Dudugera Way

Life Shards: As you are sneaking by yourself killing enemies, you will see a box. Use the box to get up (in the middle on the right) to a cliff with the lone chest.

Dudugera Way

Strength Fruit: After beating the new enemy dogs, you’ll see the fruit up above. Use the Main to crouch and jump up.

Dudugera Way

Life Shards: To the left of the seal you must break, you’ll see a winding path going up a hill. Head there to get the chest.

Dudugera Way

Memory Shard: Directly to the left of where the Seal is you’ll find a shard on ground level.

Ravine Dig Site

Life Shards: At the very top point of this map is a chest.

Ravine Dig Site

Life Shards(Fire Power Required): Right after having Majin swallow all the fire, hang to your left and you’ll see an archer. Use Majin to crouch and jump up to grab a chest.

Ravine Dig Site

Stamina Upgrade (Fire Power Required): Right after that chest, jump on the pillars you see and to a switch. Open the gate, and head through. You’ll find a tower with fire in it, so have Majin swallow it and the fruit is underneath the flames.

Ravine Dig Site

Lightning Power Upgrade (Fire Power Required): After the tunnel with the fire that you did before, instead of going left now go right and up and around a hill and use the fire on the boxes. Now have Majin open the gate and you can jump through.

Ravine Dig Site

Memory Shard (Fire Power Required): If you pull up the map, this is at the West side of the map on the lower section, south from a save point. You must be on the top level there.

Naval Equipment Warehouse

Memory Shard: When you enter the area, activate the generator. Go up the elevator behind you and follow the path and climb up the various ledges. You’ll find the shard up there.

Naval Equipment Warehouse

Lightning Upgrade Fruit: After grabbing the shard, go back down and to the area that was on the side. Use Majin to jump up to the ladder. Now grab the fruit and go down with the elevator.

Naval Equipment Warehouse

Costume Chest (Marine’s Manifer): Go back up the elevator and jump back to the ladder. Follow it up and to the right you’ll see some beams. Cross over to the far off chest.

Naval Equipment Warehouse

Life Shards: As you continue on and are going up a hill, have Majin crouch right before the top of it to get to a chest.

Naval Equipment Warehouse

Life Shards: Continue on after the hill to where there’s a salamander. Jump up using Majin, and circle around to the hole you must drop down. To the left of the hole is the chest.

Naval Equipment Warehouse

Fire Upgrade (Fire Power required): Look on the map and directly in the center you should see the red area. To access this area, you must use the fire on the boxes. It’s an annoying spot to get to, as you must use the elevators to get there since Majin must accompany you. You should have noticed these boxes earlier while getting the other collectibles in the area.

Kingdom Navy Headquarters

Stamina Fruit: Climb up the ladder you see when you first enter the area. Drop down on the right and push the box to the other box. Now jump over, run to the wall and shimmy to the fruit.

Kingdom Navy Headquarters

Costume Chest (helm of darkness): (Fire Power Required): The same box you just jumped over to get to the fruit will have to be destroyed once you get the fire power. After it’s destroyed you can move the other box and jump up to get the chest. To destroy it, blow up the boxes on the bottom of the tower. Now you have access to bombs. Take one up the elevator (make sure Majin is with you). Now you’ll have to light it, jump to the balcony part, and throw the bomb. This part can be very tricky, and if you miss/mess up then you’ll have to go back down to get the bomb again.

Kingdom Navy Headquarters

Life Shards: When you get to the top of the area via the elevator, look to the side to see the chest.

Kingdom Navy Headquarters

Life Shards: Now just jump over the chest and fall down to another area. Look to the right and grab the chest. Continue back up the way you started to get back to Majin and to break the seal.

Kingdom Navy Headquarter

Memory Shard: To the left of the gate you had to open to get to the elevators is some cliffs with fences on them. The brown spot on the North part of the map is a ledge you can get to with Majin. On top of that ledge is the dhard.

Chibirias – Stern

Life Shards: When you get into the area go straight to the enemies and defeat them. Open the big door they were in front of, and climb right after heading through. You’ll find the chest at the top there.

Chibirias - Stern

Life Shards: After you use the explosives and continue on, you’ll come to a laser eye enemy that shoots down. From here, go to the right to get another chest.

Chibirias - Stern

Costume Chest (Marine’s Uniform): For the laser enemy that is looking down, carry a barrel to him and sacrifice some life to blow up the wall. Go up the red ladder to your immediate right and follow the path. You’ll see the chest to your left, in which you will have to jump a gap to get to.

Chibirias - Stern

Life Shards: Go back to the route, then continue on for yet another chest to jump to.

Chibirias - Stern

Memory Shard: Yet again, go back to that route but jump off at the hole at the end. You will be able to pull the switch as well as grab the shard at the opposite end.

Iron Factory

Life Shards: Go all the way around to where there are archers on the South East side if checking the map. Go down in the pit below the archers to grab the chest.

Iron Factory

Costume Chest (Bandit’s Costume): After killing the archers, from where they were have Majin crouch and jump up to get to the costume piece.

Iron Factory

Memory Shard: Opposite of the archers you may have noticed the area where the dog creatures were. This is where the shard is, on the North East corner.

Iron Factory

Wind Upgrade Fruit: In the middle of the area is a very obvious glowing fruit. Use Majin to jump up and grab it. This is the last Wind Upgrade Fruit, so you should also get the “Ultimate Wind Power” achievement.

Iron Factory

Life Shards (Fire Power Required): Straight ahead from the entrance of the area is a chest. To get there, you’ll have to go up the hill and to the boxes in which you burn down.

Earth Furnace

Life Shards: Right when you get in this area you’ll most likely notice this chest on the ground in front of you.

Earth Furnace

Costume Chest (Marine’s Cap): Climb up the ladder and go the route where the archers were and you’ll have to jump to each ledge until you get to this chest.

Earth Furnace

Memory Shard: Follow the route back and straight ahead in the going up the little hill you’ll find the shard.

Earth Furnace

Strength Fruit: You should see the fruit up on a pillar on the West side of the map. Just use Majin to jump up to get it, but you’ll have to let him in through a gate. Have him push the boulder down when the enemies are grouped on the slope.

Earth Furnace

Life Shards: Right by the pillar with the fruit (on ground level) is the easy to see chest.

Chibirias – Engine

Life Shards: When you enter the area, keep straight and run along the left side to find a very easy chest.

Chibirias – Engine

Life Shards: After the last chest, you’ll see boxes you can burn as you backtrack (you’ll see 4 wooden grates, turn around at this point). Go up the stairs to find the chest.

Chibirias – Engine

Stamina Fruit: From the last chest, jump over the railing and you’ll see it straight ahead down some stairs.

Chibirias – Engine
Memory Shard: Facing the exit door, turn around and head left and you’ll see the shard on that route.

Koom Honu’a Passage

Life Shards: When you get to this area, just keep to the right side to find the chest (down the hill).

Koom Honu’a Passage

Memory Shard: It’s on the opposite side of the chest (West).

Moonglow Cave

Life Shards: When you get to the crank for the first time, have Majin turn it twice. Head up the nearby ladder and stick to the right to find a chest.

Moonglow Cave

Strength Fruit: Go up the rock on in the area and you should see a boulder that can be blown up. Take a nearby barrel and place it there. Now from that angle, have Majin turn the crank until the eye is facing you and blows up the barrel. Now have Majin turn the crank again or just jump down if it’s easier for you. The fruit is behind the area you just blew open.

Moonglow Cave

Life Shards: After giving the fruit to Majin, go back and go along the regular path and you’ll see another area to blow up. This will lead to some enemies and the seal you must destroy. After the seal, if you keep going you’ll find the chest.

Moonglow Cave

Memory Shard: Go back up the ladder on and the planks. Angle your camera so that you can command Majin to use the crank. You’ll see the shard from there for sure.

Koonapipi Mines

Memory Shard: You’ll notice in the center area you can climb up. Go up and to the North part on the map (this is on the red area on the map). You’ll need Majin’s help to get all the way up there.

Koonapipi Mines

Life Shards: In the same area as the Memory shard, but on the West part.

Koonapipi Mines

Costume Piece (Attendant’s Decorative Sleeve): Now turn and you should see a chest that a red ladder leads up to. You can just jump over to get there. This area is also accessible by using Majin to jump up to the area with the ladder. You must ignite some bombs first though in order to break the obstacle and use the ladder.

Koonapipi Mines

Stamina Fruit: Again in the middle, but this time next to where you’ll have Majin crouching you should see some bombs. Grab one, ignite it, then quickly have Majin crouch so you can jump up and blow up the obstacles to get to the fruit.

You should get the achievement “Ultimate Health” after giving this last health upgrade to Majin.

Koonapipi Mines

Life Shards: In the South East corner of the map is another obstacle and some bombs. Clear the way and use Majin to jump up. Pull the switch on the right then jump down. You should see 2 ladders, one which you’ll need Majin for to get the seal, and the other leads to the chest.

Four Windmills Hill

Life Shards: When you enter this area, go up the ladder you see on your left and it leads to a chest.

Four Windmills Hill

Life Shards: Now head to the North West part of the map to find another chest on ground level.

Four Windmills Hill

Life Shards: Now just run to the North part of the map and pass through the columns to get to a chest.

Four Windmills Hill

Fire Upgrade: Where that last chest was, near and above is a small ledge with rocks on it. Use the catapult to get to that ledge. Now use a rock in the catapult to break the East wall, then catapult yourself as well to get to the fruit.

This will unlock the achievement “Ultimate Flame Power”.

Four Windmills Hill

Memory Shard: In the area below the fruit you will find the shard.

Tanya Mafta City

Memory Shard: When you enter, you’ll see a center area with crystals around a pillar. A little to the North and West is the shard.

Tanya Mafta City

Life Shards: From the pillar now go to the very North and West part of the map for a chest.

Tanya Mafta City

Life Shards: After getting the conductor from climbing the ladder and opening the door, have Majin crouch in front of the center pillar to get to the chest.

Tanya Mafta City

Lightning Upgrade: Grab the conductor and bring it to the North East part of the map. Get the generator going and use the elevator. You’ll want to have Majin come around the other side to go up with you if there are enemies. You may want to use wind on the second enemy if it’s proving a problem. The fruit is at the end of the path.

You should obtain the “Ultimate Lightning Power” achievement after collecting this.

Tu Kabinana Residence

Memory Shard: At the very North West part of this area is the shard.

Tu Kabinana Residence

Life Shards: If you go on the East path of this area then you’ll see a narrow area with enemies. Go through that route to get to the chest.

Tu Kabinana Residence

Costume Piece (Attendant’s Formal Cap): Head back to the elevator you used to get the last Lightning Upgrade (in Tanya Mafta City). Go up again and turn around to see a higher ground path to Tu Kabinana Residence. Go through and kill the archers. Throw a rock by the archer to occupy him, while you angle your camera to have Majin move the planks. You’ll be able to jump to this chest.

Tu Kabinana Residence

Purification Upgrade: You may notice a new type of fruit surrounded by a Darkness puddle. You must use the Purification first and then you may grab it. This is located on the South West part of the area opposite the Memory Shard.

Tu Kabinana Residence

Life Shards: You may backtrack to Tanay Mafta City and take the West most route North. Next to the save point is the chest, a little high up on a ledge. Use Majin to get up there.

Crystal Palace Courtyard
Life Shards: When you first enter this area, you’ll see what looks like it could have been a moat at one time. Jump in the narrow area and follow it to the chest.

Crystal Palace Courtyard

Costume Piece (Attendant’s Formal Wear) (Purification required): On the North part of the area you’ll see some stairs that lead to a big crystal formation. Use the purification in front of the chest there.

Crystal Palace Courtyard

Life Shards: From this area you should see a narrow wall you can walk/jump on. Follow it around to the other side of the crystal formation for the this chest.

Crystal Palace Courtyard

Memory Shard: If you look on your map, on the South and somewhat center part of the map you’ll see a lone brown block. You just have to jump up to reach the shard.

Crystal Palace Interior

Life Shards: When going up the first set of stairs, stop at the end and have Majin crouch so you can jump up to get a chest.

Crystal Palace Interior

Costume Piece (Gauntlets of Darkness) (Purification Power Needed): Go up the second set of stairs, and have Majin use Purification on the column to jump on it. Jump from column to column in the East direction until you get to the chest.

Crystal Palace Interior

Memory Shard: Now continue to the next section of the area and you’ll either be able to go left or right. Right goes downwards and it will lead to the shard.

Crystal Palace Interior

Strength Fruit : After using the Purification to get onto the column in this section, jump to where the archer is. Kill him, and turn to see a fruit across a little gap. You can’t jump it, so you’ll have to have Majin crouch inside the gap when you get the chance.
This will unlock the “Ultimate Strength” achievement for gaining all strength upgrades.

Crystal Palace Interior

Life Shards: After using the wheel to open the door to exit, look directly to the right after passing through and climb up to grab the chest.

Loll’ur River

Costume Piece (Dark Costume): This is by the save point near the tree of this area. You must have Majin open the chest.

Loll’ur River

Life Shards: Follow the bridge to the end.

Loll’ur River

Memory Shard (Cloak of the First King Awarded): Near the exit which leads to The Royal garden is the last shard in the game. You do not get any achievements for this shard, but it gives you a costume which is something you need for a separate achievement involving gaining all costumes.

Arkela Castle – Courtyard

Life Shards: You will see stairs straight ahead when you enter the courtyard. If you turn to the West, you will see more stairs. Go up those and follow it. Right near the Darkness Puddle, you’ll see a spot to jump up. Follow it and jump to the chest.

Arkela Castle – Courtyard

Costume Piece (Guardian’s Costume): In the West and center part of this first section, you’ll see a staircase leading to this giant chest. Have Majin open it.

Arkela Castle – Courtyard

Life Shards: When getting to the second section of this area, you will see a big staircase. Turn around and you should see a spot in the corner where you can jump up from Majin.

Arkela Castle – Courtyard

Purification Upgrade: In the last section of this area, right before going to the Arkela Castle Hall, is a fruit that is very noticeable and easy to grab.

Arkela Castle – Courtyard

Life Shards: After grabbing the fruit, follow the path around the wall surrounding the fruit until you find the chest.

Arkela Castle – Hall

Life Shards: When you enter the Hall, straight ahead are some stairs. Go up them and turn left.

Arkela Castle – Hall

Life Shards: After you go up the other stairs and turn the fountain off, you will have access to this chest inside the fountain itself.

Arkela Castle – Main Tower

Life Shards: One of the mechanisms you must turn has a chest to the right of it. It will most likely be the second one you get to.

Arkela Castle – Main Tower

Life Shards: A very easy to see chest as you are going for another mechanism to turn, most likely the last. You must use Majin to jump to this one.

Arkela Castle – Grand Staircase

Purification Upgrade: When you enter the area, straight ahead is an easy to see fruit.

Arkela Castle – Grand Staircase

Life Shards: When going up the first set of stairs (on your right), you should notice the chest within a Darkness Puddle. Purify that spot and open the chest.

Arkela Castle – Grand Staircase

Life Shards: Go the route which lets Majin follow. A s you wind around the top area, you’ll find a mechanism you must turn. In the Darkness Foutain you will find the chest.

Arkela Castle – Grand Staircase

Costume Piece (Armor of Darkness): Continue on to the next mechanism and turn it. You can now grab the final chest in the game. In fact, this is the last collectible in the game!
You will unlock the “Treasure Hunter” and “Costplay Master” achievements.

Denguey Forest Towers Memory Shard

Denguey Forest Tower

Life Shards: Inside the first door you went underneath, go by the circular structure and you’ll see a lizard. Have Majin crouch there and jump up. Once up there you should see the shard towards the wall. (The way to break the seal here is to follow the path up there to a switch. Pull the switch then get on the gate that dropped. Now command Majin to lift it up).

The above location is spot on, but just to let others know its a Memory Shard and not a Life shard so wait till dark to get it.
Following the guide perfectly so far... top job!

Thank you, I have changed it to Memory Shards. This was so much writing/work I bet I messed up in a few more places, just let me know if so and I'll correct it!

Left not right

Arkela Castle – Grand Staircase

Life Shards: When going up the first set of stairs (on your right), you should notice the chest within a Darkness Puddle. Purify that spot and open the chest.

After collecting the Purification fruit, Turn LEFT up the stairs to another small area, to the back, in a darkness puddle is the Chest.

Ive followed your guide 100% and its spot on! I found 2 small errors and thats it! For a collectable guide this big, its probably the best one ive seen so far! Keep up the good work.

Hey thanks! With lack of sleep not sure if I'm reading this right. Are those two different descriptions you are pointing out that are wrong, or one? Maybe put what I said, then under put the same thing with correction in red. I'll try to fix any mistakes.

My photobucket went a bit overboard, since it tracks how many people view the photos and it all adds up to make my 10gb limit go over. I had not known that : / Hope to have it fixed soon sorry.

Question

Quote:
Arkela Castle – Gate

Memory Shard: This is right next to the main castle gate.
Note: This can only be obtained at night.
Okay I am probably being real dumb here, but I have been through the gate 6 times now and I cant see where this item is, and it is night time, is it on top of something?

*edit never mind that mini map wasn't showing before.
