DLC Code

Just wondering, I bought Borderlands today and it's preowned but it came with a DLC code for this to download. It appears the previous owner used it. So, why did it get left in the case? Is there anything I can do about it? Lol

You can try the code... If it works, great. If it doesn't, toss it. I left the online code for my Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit in the case despite having already used it, some people just hang on to things.
