Rolling a 15 help!

Normally I don't ask for help on stupid achievements like this, but for some reason I can't get this damn achievement. I know that this achievement is based on pure luck, but I've seriously been rolling dice in a game for over 2 hours and still no 15, not even on my second controller.

I have the game set as a custom with all properties distributed at the start of the game. I then have the game set on speed (with 3 dice) with 1 extra controller. Once the game starts I make all the properties in the game mortgaged so there is no rent to worry about. With this set up, I just keep rolling the dice, but I never hit 6+6+3. I've come close a couple times: (6+6+monopoly man), (5+6+3), etc.

I'm getting really mad here, this is the last achievement I need for this game and it's pissing me off. Is there something I'm doing wrong here? How are you guys getting the 15? Any tips? Thanks in advance.

There is really nothing but luck with this achievement, your chances of rolling this are 1-in-216, so eventually you will get this roll. Hang in there, I still haven't gotten the triples and they are only a 1-in-72 chance...and my 2nd controller has rolled it like 5 stinking times.

Yes, I played Avatar, I’m not proud of it, but whatever, if you’re on this site, chances are you did too, or have seriously considered doing it, so :-P

Im having no luck either, I managed to roll two consecutive triples but 15 is evading me. Im making a point not to look at the screen when my second controller rolls as it'll just be a kick in the balls seeing 15 for it.

EDIT; OK im now having serious issues with this pathetic achievement, Ive just left my xbox on for over 14 hours straight with 2 street fighter pads on turbo, I have now rolled the dice 1600 times and still no achievement. So in total im now looking at close to 20hours playing with 3 dice, and at least 2000 rolls, the law of averages says I should have had this achievement 10 times over so what the fck is going on.

EDIT 2; I finally got it after around 32hrs of using turbo pads. Before it popped for me I saw my second account roll 15 three times so I went to dashboard rebooted the game on a second profile and played with my account as player 2. Good luck to anyone going for this achievement.

Pure luck.

Managed to throw it tonight to great relief.

Could imagine this one driving you mad though.

Took me about 180 rolls over 2hrs. I just watched TV while repeatedly hitting A on both controllers.

Try this: Don't stop the dice by pressing and wait until it ends spinning automatically. This increased the chances of rolling a 15 for me.

Definitely go w/Hawaiian's method. I had been trying for hours and no luck. First game I tried his method, got it in my first go around the board! Thanks for the tip.

Does anyone have another method? I've been trying for hours and 3 out of my 4 profiles have it but not the main one.

Finally got it on turn 308.

I had been keeping track since about turn 100, and this was probably my sixth game. Since I started keeping track, I rolled 105/180 unique rolls, including 1-6-3, 2-6-3 2x, 3-6-3 2x, 4-6-3, 5-6-3 2x, 6-1-3, 6-2-3 2x, 6-3-3, 6-4-3 2x, 6-6-B, 6-6-1, and 6-6-2 2x.

It happened on my 167th roll that I was keeping track of, and I missed several. There was certainly a few hundred rolls before I started keeping track. My total worth was over $24,000. I was going for this achievement a few hours a night for three or four nights.

My advice would be to keep track of your rolls. It makes it less boring, since you can be excited every time you get a new unique roll. Also, I wasn't stopping the rolls with A, although it didn't seem to help.

EDIT: And what do you know, I roll my second 15 on turn 328. My other advice is to go to options and turn skip movement on. That way you don't have to press B to skip through the movement animations. And of course, mute your tv and put some music on. Once you get down to one opponent, make sure he doesn't have a monopoly and then make his maximum rent payment $100-150. That way he shouldn't go bankrupt and end the game on you. Also, you can exit the game and return to it at the main menu under saved games.
