Getting another phone. Possible to transition games/saves so that I don't lose it all

8.1 screwed up my phone (plus I wanted something better anyway). Is it possible to back up my entire phone state or migrate my games directly to the new phone, because I really don't feel like starting all over again on some of them

Also, for the sake of polishing off some multiplayer, after putting my profile on my upcoming phone; is it possible to sign out of my old phone, sign-in with a dummy profile and still have access to apps already on storage like you can with 360 or is it all absolutely tied to that one profile and have to be re-purchased on the dummy

1) you can't move save files unless the game supports cloud saves (Halo, Skulls of Shogun, ect) Finish the games on your old phone before resetting it unless you just started them. You can have your account linked on both phones at the same time. Knock out those grinds and don't start any other games on that phone.

2) You lose all apps on the phone when you reset it and need to buy them again. Unless you want to buy the game several times, just do this with free games. If you do end up buying games, use a pre-paid debit card. That way you do not have your personal info on a dummy account and don't put more than you need with microsoft gift cards.
