The "Play the same level multiple times so it makes the game longer" move

I hate that 2K took the same rout that Bungie did in the Halo franchise of making you play the same level multiple times. Of course I am talking about having to go to the Armory 3 times and it is the same exact mission. At least Bungie would change it up by making you go through the level backwards or add the Flood on the second playthrough. This just seemed lazy by 2K!

What? There's only one mission that takes you through the armory, as far as I remember at least, was a little drunk when I played through this DLC. Pretty sure the only way you can do it multiple times is if you do the trick to get infinite time in there.

No, there are 3 missions that make you go to the armory. The Main story has "Armory Assault" and then Marcus "allows" you to go back in twice during the missions "Super Marcus Sweep" and "Its Like Christmas". You don't have to kill general Knoxx in the 2nd and 3rd missions, but its still a pain having to go to the Armory 3 times.

Oh, didn't do all the missions in Knoxx yet. I don't see that as being a bad thing though, if you are forced to go back to an area then the Armory is the best place.

i fucking hate this DLC for the simple fact that there's no fast travel. having to drive back & forth is tedious as hell. if they wanted to make the shit longer of a playthrough, they should've added more missions & the option to fast travel.

I'm currently working on this and agree, they should have made Fast Travel available in the DLC. Sure, it may have shaved a little time off Zombie Island, but it wasn't necessary like it is in Secret Armory. Seriously, I hate traveling on the highways, you have to get out of your car like 10 times because of all the drones that fly from their posts. I just hope New Revolution isn't as tedious as this one, as far as traveling goes.

Well, the ghetto fix for the travel issues in the DLC is to simply save and quit. That's what I do to save time. True is not faster than having a new-u machine by there but it works nonetheless. Even if that means only cutting half the travel.
