Introduction:
Welcome to Hunted: The Demon's Forge, a dungeon crawling action RPG video game introduced by inXile (creator of A Bard's Tale) and published by Bethesda. In this game, you have the choice to play as Caddoc, a male human warrior, or E'lara, a female elf ranger, and embark upon a journey to solve the mystery of a pale-skinned woman's projection by the name of Seraphine.

With a style not so dissimilar from Gears of War in its sprint, cover, and battle system, Hunted: The Demon's Forge introduces a wonderful experience both with a friend or alone and challenges old time fantasy game stereotypes with its unique magic system and lack of inventory. Not only that, but the game features several secret areas that the player must always be on the lookout for and plenty of rewards should one find them.

Overall, if you are reading this, you are clearly interested in Hunted: The Demon's Forge and, most likely, fully beating this game. Below is information I have gathered by myself and from research online (duly credited), all compiled, and cleanly writ in an attempt to help guide you to your 100%.

Happy gaming.

Step 1:
Hunted: The Demon's Forge is a game that offers reloads of chapters (and spots within chapters). Because of this, the order in what you collect and how you do it is not so important. I'll be writing this with the assumption you are starting from the beginning, however, so please keep that in mind as you follow my guide.

Firstly, start a new game and /do not/ skip the tutorial. The tutorial is recommended not skipped due to it having crystals and a deathstone body there, which you have to get to score those related achievements. All of the collection based achievements are detailed below.

VERY IMPORTANT: This game has an achievement that is based on whether you drink "sleg" or not. Please keep in mind that once you drink it, you will have to start from the beginning if you want the achievement where you did not. I recommend NOT drinking it on this playthrough so you can get the harder part over with early.

Step 2:
Assuming you did not drink the sleg last playthrough, load up the last chapter and play through it, only drink the sleg this time. It's recommended you do this with the character you did not originally play through (i.e. if you played E'lara, use Caddoc). That way, the last chapter's boss achievements will unlock for you as well. At this point, when you finish, you should have both sleg-based achievements as well as Chapter Six's boss achievements for both characters. Congratulations.
(Credit to:
scorpy78)

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not start a New Game+ after you beat the game once unless you are willing to completely restart your characters (only your gold count remains). All progress on your character progression, deathstones, crystals, and dragon tears are reset upon a New Game+.

Conclusion:
This game should not give you too much trouble to 100%. The only real grind is the length of each chapter and ensuring you have all the necessary collectibles. Keeping a counter to offset this is incredibly important because there is no indication in the game of where and whether you are missing anything. Otherwise, Hunted: The Demon's Forge is a very easy thousand.

Achievement List and Guide:

Cashews on The Counter15 Complete the Tutorial
Pretty self-explanatory. Just load up the game, start from Prologue, and beat it. Boo-beep!

The Iron Triangle15 Complete Chapter 1
Pretty self-explanatory. Just load up the game, start from Chapter One, and beat it. Boo-beep!

Not on My Watch15 Kill a fleeing Wargar in the town of Dyfed
Keep an eye out for a long corridor-like section near the beginning of chapter one. A wargar should be knelt near a cover-system area to your left. After killing the kneeling wargar, run forward to the end of the corridor and look past the walled area in front of you. You should see two fleeing wargar. Shoot them down.

All That and a Bag of Chips15 Obtain an Epic quality weapon
Your first opportunity to get this achievement is in Chapter One. There are several secret areas in the game that contain purple-ish, shining cages. Break one of these open (hopefully you get a purple glowing weapon), and there's your achievement. A few offered locations in Chapter One are writ below:

Location One for Epic Quality Weapon: Reference collectibles guide.

Location Two for Epic Quality Weapon: Reference collectibles guide.

Like Butter15 Equip a Rare, or better, quality weapon in both inventory slots
When you discover at least six secret locations (all possible in Chapter One and will be detailed below in the collection section of this guide), your character unlocks the ability to equip two weapons. At this point, use the locations for epic weapons written just above and equip two purple weapons. All done.

The Dr. Is In10 As Caddoc, defeat the Infected at the end of Chapter 1
Kill the boss at the end of Chapter One as Caddoc. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Hello Nurse!10 As E'lara, defeat the Infected at the end of Chapter 1
Kill the boss at the end of Chapter One as E'lara. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Rockstar15 Complete Chapter 2
Pretty self-explanatory. Just load up the game, continue onto Chapter Two, and beat it. Boo-beep!

Kaboom15 Kill at least 3 enemies with one explosion
One of the best locations to get this achievement is in Chapter 2.3. As you are continuing through the game, you will come across a crane platform. As you go down, look for the explosive containers with at least three wargar near them and blow them up.

Rampage15 Kill 20 Wargar before the crane platform gets to the bottom in the Dungeons of Dyfed
The kaboom achievement just above is a great method on getting this. As you are being lowered on the crane platform in Chapter 2.3, try to kill as many wargar as you can. Utilizing the explosive barrels and attempting to get as many wargar around them before detonation also helps. Auburok and I got this achievement by sending Caddoc on the platform and having him firebomb the lower level and using E'lara snipe the top level.

Arachnophobe10 As Caddoc, conquer your fear as well as the spider god in Chapter 2
Kill the boss at the end of Chapter Two as Caddoc. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Exterminatrix10 As E'lara, squash the spider god while holding Caddoc’s hand in Chapter 2
Kill the boss at the end of Chapter Two as E'lara. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Pretty self-explanatory. Just load up the game, start from Chapter Three, and beat it. Done and done!

Basic Instinct 10 Kill the assassin at the docks in Chapter 3 as Caddoc

Mr. Furious 15 Complete Chapter 4
Pretty self-explanatory. Just load up the game, start from Chapter Four, and beat it.

Bull in a China Shop 15 Trick the Minotaur into destroying all the pillars in the Arches of Fire section in Llyr
At the scene in Chapter 4.3 where you witness a minotaur battling a bunch of wargar, you'll notice you are to walk out onto a wooden platform. When the minotaur notices you and charges you down from it by collapsing a pillar, have him charge the rest of the wooden pillars there that support the platform. This'll net you the achievement.

Catch! 15 Escape the Collapsing Aqueduct without taking any damage
In Chapter 4.5, when you land upon a bridge-like path at the very start, be ready to sprint. You'll have a cutscene as you continue walking where a projectile slams into the bridge. At this point, sprint the entire way through it until you land on the ground at the very end (automatic). Boo-beep.

Exorcist 10 As Caddoc, send the demon in the library back to hell at the end of Chapter 4
Kill the boss at the end of Chapter Four as Caddoc. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Kill the boss at the end of Chapter Four as E'lara. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Whatever It Takes 15 Complete Chapter 5
Pretty self-explanatory. Just load up the game, start from Chapter Five, and beat it. Done and done!

Razor Sharp 15 Kill 15 enemies with the Forest flechette gun on the Road to Kala Moor
This is definitely easiest on casual mode. In the forest in Chapter 5.1, you'll come across a hill where a flechette gun (arrow gun) is positioned at the top. It's facing down the length of a bridge. Simply have your partner protect you while you shoot down the oncoming enemies. Eventually, you'll kill 15 and the achievement will pop. This achievement only unlocks for the player shooting down the enemy.

Eye for an Eye 15 Kill an Eye of Annuvin before it can summon reinforcements on the Road to Kala Moor
This is definitely easiest in casual mode with E'lara. In Chapter 5.2, you'll come across a wide desert-like area where you see two flying eyeballs and some wargar. Above them, at the very far end of your screen, you should see a wargar mounted on a ballistae. Either have a very strong bow equipped or have Caddoc battle charge you, aim at the eye, and shoot it down. Note that you cannot be too close, or else you will alert the enemies to your presence. This achievement only unlocks for the player shooting down the enemy.

Grounded 10 As Caddoc, Put down the Blind Dragon at the conclusion of Chapter 5
Kill the boss at the end of Chapter Five as Caddoc. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Boots and a Handbag 10 As E'lara, kill the Blind Dragon at the conclusion of Chapter 5
Kill the boss at the end of Chapter Five as E'lara. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Business of Makin' Sausage 25 Complete Chapter 6
Pretty self-explanatory. Just load up the game, start from Chapter Six, and beat it. Done and done!

I'll Huff and I'll Puff... 15 Trick a blind dragon into shooting down the weak tower in the depths of Kala Moor
In Chapter 6.2, once you encounter the scene with the prisoner (it's a lengthy cutscene and a deathstone will be involved), you will step outside. A tower is nearby, as is a dragon. Simply run to the tower and fight the wargar under it, and the dragon should destroy the tower on its own.

Man Slaughter 10 Defeat Annuvin as Caddoc
Kill the boss at the end of Chapter Six as Caddoc. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Femme Fatale 10 Defeat Annuvin as E'lara
Kill the boss at the end of Chapter Six as E'lara. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Sandy V. 30 Adventure Mode - Defeat all bosses as E'lara
Defeat all the bosses in every chapter as E'lara. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Situation 30 Adventure Mode - Defeat all bosses as Caddo
Defeat all the bosses in every chapter as Caddoc. You can reload the end of the chapter and redo it as the other character after beating it once to get the other half of this achievement.

Above the Influence 100 Adventure Mode - Finished a game where neither player drank Sleg
Do this achievement first. Throughout the game, you will find containers that the characters will reference as sleg. Do not drink these. At the end of the game, your achievement will pop. If you accidentally drank the sleg, redoing those sections of the game will re-write the chapter, so you don't have to start all over to get this achievement. Just redo those sections and finish the game. (Credit: II Skylander II).

Piddlin' in the Porridge 25 Adventure Mode - Finished a game where one player drank the Sleg
Assuming you did not drink the sleg on your first run through of this game, load up chapter six and play through it. Drink the sleg. Beat the rest of the chapter. This achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

Late to the Party 50 Adventure Mode - Free all bound prisoners throughout the game
Please reference my collectibles guide. Click on the underlined words to access the link.

Life Support 15 Adventure Mode - Revive your fallen companion 20 times during the game
You should probably get this in a normal playthrough. If not, you can have a coop partner die a lot and use rejuvenation potions on them get this achievement. Pretty easy stuff.

Alternatively, "Play split screen on chapter 1.6, hardcore/old school difficulty. There's a regen vial right before the boss fight if you don't have any. Once the fight starts, take cover behind the pillar and move your afk teammate into the archer's fire. Use a vial when they go down and refill (when needed) from the 3 vials surrounding the arena." (Credit: D412k Kn16h7)

Raise the Not Quite Dead 15 Adventure Mode - Cooperatively kill 50 levitating enemies
As Caddoc, use your levitation spell and have E'lara pick off the enemies. This achievement will unlock for both players if in coop.

Ice Queen 15 Adventure Mode - Cooperatively kill 50 frozen enemies
As E'lara, use your freeze arrow spell and have Caddoc kill the enemies (dash works pretty well for that). This achievement will unlock for both players in coop.

Joined at the Hip 15 Adventure Mode - Perform a Spell Link with your companion 20 times during the game
You must have this ability unlocked before you can do it (unlocked at 7 dragon tears collected). Have you and your partner use battle charge at the same time. A ghostly skull should start floating between you two. Do this twenty more times to unlock the achievement. This achievement will unlock for both players in coop (and is easier to do in coop).

Pump YOU Up 15 Adventure Mode - Battle Charge your companion 50 times during the game
Do this by selecting a spell on your D-pad and equipping it (hit RB once). Once your character is holding the spell, press down on the RB and hold it until the character charges up the spell and fires it out. This should battle charge your partner. This achievement will unlock for both players in coop.

You Broke It, They Bought It 15 Shatter the shields of 50 enemies
Utilizing Caddoc's Dash or E'lara's Arcane Shot, pick off fifty shields. As E'lara, make sure you hit the shield and not the character. As Caddoc, make sure their shields are in front of them (as in they are actively defending) before slamming into them with dash.

Is Something Burning? 15 Kill 20 enemies using explosive barrels
Throughout the game, there will be explosive barrels. Blow up the barrel with an arrow or crossbow shot when an enemy or group of enemies are nearby to unlock this achievement. A good location to do this is at the crane room in 2.3

Gold Finger 50 Amass 100,000 gold
Easiest done on a Crucible mode meant to amass gold. this thead is a good example of where to go to grind gold. Click on the underlined words to access the link.

God Complex 15 Create your own Crucible level
Very easy. Simply load up your game, go to Crucible mode, and build a map. You don't even have to play it.

One Man Wolf Pack 15 Unlock 1st piece of Crucible content
Gain gold. Entire crucible content finishes at 190,000 gold. See Gold Finger for gold grinding help.

Dungeon Makeover 15 Unlock 50% of Crucible content

you don't need two playthroughs, I answered one question here http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f...d.php?t=313537 and this is how I got all boss achievements along with drink or not to drink Sleg as well with only one real playthrough

I did it another way, played the whole game with Elara, no drinks, got all boss achievements with her and the "not to drink" achievement.

Then I loaded each level's last chapter, choose Cadoc, beat all the bosses and it also gives you all boss related achievements, and in level 5 in last chapter you start right in front of a sleg, drink it, continue on loading last chapters, beat all the bosses with him and you'll get all boss related achievements with him along with "to drink" achievement.

It worked for me this way so try it out

Sorry for my english, I hope you all understand what I wrote

OK, for the 'LF1M Dungeon Crawl' achievement, I've published a map to Live for people to use.

It's 25 roooms of 3 waves of 3 spider chargers, they're the weakest enemies available, and 3 waves of 3 is the lowest you can do.

For now, look under the 'recently published' tab for 'Grumftheld', then choose my map called 'Attack Before Dusk'.

It'll take you about an hour to run through, and you can do it on your own easily.

Just thought I'd throw it up because it's easier to use that than make your own (which takes a good 2o minutes or so at least).

Uhm, I wasn't bumping. I was making empty posts so I would have enough room for all the information I would have to write due to this site having text limits.

Chapter One finished. I'll go back through when I'm more awake and add the relevant maps from the actual guide. Please let me know if I missed something.

Also, I'll add prologue later. It isn't forgotten.

Updates Thus Far:
Edited roadmap information to adjust difficulty and amount of hours required to 1000.
Also edited playthroughs required to account for shorter method to get both sleg achievements, credit given above.
Added chapter one information under collectibles.

Hey I think it might be a lot easier for you and the community to put the collectibles guide on a different thread making it easier, As to scrolling all the way down from the achievement guide and road map

Great guide I cant wait to see what the finish product looks like

Unfortunately, without a map, it's really, really hard for us to keep track of where stuff is. There's a Brady Guide that's posted on this forum, too, and even that's missing a bunch of shit. We may end up fixing those, or making crude maps based on them just to point where things are.

This game is collectable hell, considering all the cut off points in the game: about 10+ times a level, you will pass through an area you can't backtrack from. Hopefully we can get this guide in good shape within a week, but if you're waiting, I think there's a good chance it'll be done in a few weeks.

Yeah uhm you should change the 10-15 hours for 1000... give people a much more realistic impression, talking at least 20 hours. Especially now before people can just spam guide use and also people will likely want to do a second playthrough instead of using a guide the first time through since it kinda ruins the fun of puzzles and stuff...

Why would she post the time to 1000 without using the guide, for the guide?

WTH?!?!?! you do know people do not have to look at the guide if they do not want help or prefer to do a 1st playthrough legit, 10-15 sounds about right especially since now there is a collectibles guide and Methods for money and beating each boss with different character....................

I think you're missing the point dude. The guides are made to get all achievements as fast as possible, that's it. It's not about helping you experience the full game as well.

You guys are making a big deal out of nothing.. all I did is recommend to WARN people its HIGHLY unlikely they will get the collectibles without a guide. SOME people like to enjoy the game as well as get achievements jeez.

It is, in fact, the mandate of the site, the guides and Road Map are to be written to help ANYONE get ALL ACHIEVEMENTS AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Hell, it even says in the Roap Map writing guide that the time is meant to be stated as The time for a skillied player to the time for a novice. The guides are written purely for steamrolling through the game, at no point does it say or are guide writers expected to adjust times for a hypothetical possibility of someone wanting to take their time.

If you charge through the game, only getting achievements, you can do it in 10-15 hours, end of story. That's the point of the guide, that's the point of the site. Someone who wants to take their time doesn't need a guide for procrastination.

Also, we're not actually here to provide maps and guides for anything that isn't achievement related. Of course we can and often do anyway, but it is not required in any way. Only information required for getting achievements ASAP is needed.

Now, you can say we're making a big deal out of nothing, but then again, so are you, as you are complaining over a non existant problem and utterly irrelevant minor detail. We're just trying to explain how this is the way the guides are meant to be written.
