*UPDATED* Achievement Guide and Roadmap

Hello all, I thought I would make a complete Achievement Guide for this game as the main one on the site doesn’t have complete descriptions, nor do any in the forums. I have basically gathered lots of information from the forum for this game and added it together in one complete guide and credit is given to the people who were most helpful in the formation of this guide.

Constructive Criticism is always welcome
Please keep your posts clean
Any help is greatly appreciated
Post your thoughts on where you would like to see more info added

Everyone who’s provided information about this game through the forum, particularly;
- gatorbait for his Roadmap
- harvinator2000 for his glitched achievement soloutions
- Shadow Kisuragi for the methods
- And forgottennn for his Achievement Guide

Overview:
Estimated achievement difficulty: 4/10
Offline: 43 (1000)
Online: 0
Approximate amount of time to 1000: 15-25 hours
Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
Number of missable achievements: None, due to the fact that you can replay the mini-games through the options menu.
Glitched achievements: Varies (People have reported numerous achievement’s glitching but a solutions thread is present during Step 3 of this Roadmap)
Do cheat codes disable achievements?: None
Does difficulty affect achievements?: No, there are no different difficulty settings.
Extra Equipment: Yes, an Xbox Live Vision Camera is required to play this game, please note that a Kinect vision camera will not work.

Introduction:
First off, this game is only playable if you have a Vision Camera. The game comes with a vision camera as a bundle but if you’re looking to rent this or buy a copy online make sure you already have a vision camera or else you won’t be able to pick up any achievements. The achievements for this game are not hard but take a decent amount of time. The trickiest part will be to find a good place for your camera that will allow it to properly detect your movements to register in the game. There are a total of 30 movies and you will have to complete all of them using 4 players. Luckily the camera is the only ‘controller’ so you just need one person to act as 4. The rest of the achievements will naturally come with playing and the rest are pretty much designated for specific mini-games. After about 4 game sessions (movies) you will be able to play every mini-game from the options menu on the main menu. If you think that this game will be too much effort for you then you are wrong, as there are three methods you can use to easily complete the mini-games, which will be listed further down in the Roadmap. I will refer to these methods in the achievement guide.

Step 1: Play through all movies
Play through all 30 movies using ‘4 players’. The game will go through a setup type mode to make sure your camera has enough lighting and is in a good position. It will then ask how many players and make sure you select 4. It will take a picture of each player slot all at once so make sure you can get it to register you in all 4 slots. It’s easiest to just stretch your arms across all 4 slots and wait about 3 seconds and it will prepare to take your picture and the game gets under way. This is where you will pick up the majority of the achievements. You will get credit for completing all 30 movies and all 30 movies with 4 players. Seeing as you will be completing all movies you will also pick up the achievements for 1, 3, and 5 game sessions along with completing all the movies within set genres (5 achievements). Seeing as you will be playing so many games across 30 movies you will most likely have play ever mini-game, which will give you credit for completing all games within certain game types (fairground, city, dojo, countryside, desert island, studio). You can play through the games or you can just let them play themselves out, without scoring points, and pressing the button at the end of each round. You can skip the award ceremony to save some time. There are only a couple of games you actually have to play out because they aren’t time based. If you do play through the games you will find that they aren’t very hard at all and you should be able to get the max score on a majority of them if not all while you’re going through all the movies. Along with playing every mini-game you will also have to play every 2 player mini-game. There are only 8 of them and odds are you will complete them all during the 30 movies. Remember to replay one of the movies in 1 player to unlock the ‘Going Solo’ achievement.

Step 2: Make a script
Here we will just mop up one achievement, which will be the ‘Budding Director’ achievement. For this all you need to do is enter Director Mode, press and select load movie, click on any of the movies that appear and then when it loads press again and select ‘Save as Script’. This should unlock the achievement.

Step 3: Mop Up
Now for the homestretch. Here is where you should go to the options menu and complete any games that you were not able to get a max score on or for some strange reason you didn’t play at all during the 30 movies. The biggest problem you will have with most games is that they will not detect your movements. Make sure you have enough lighting in the room and that the background has as few objects as possible. You will also want to use any methods you can use to obtain these achievements, which are listed below.

The most common achievements that glitch are the ones, which require you to get a high score on the mini-games and the play all 30 movies achievements. This games achievement system is stupid, as it requires the saving screen for the achievement to pop, therefore if one of your achievement glitches you are going to want to turn of your Xbox and restart the game. Once this is done you basically want to get the game to bring up a saving screen and there are two ways of doing this, so if one doesn’t work try the other. The first way to do this is to complete the achievement requirements again or part of it, for example, the ‘Slippery Eel’ Achievement glitched for me and all I had to do was replay the Rodeo Rampage game and get the high score for it to unlock. If that does not work you can try making another movie through director mode and then saving it, even if it is terrible. This will force the achievement to unlock hopefully. (credit to harvinator2000)

Conclusion:
All in all the game has an easy set of achievements. You will spend the better part of them just completing all 30 movies using ‘4 players’. Everything else can be easily mopped up afterward. The trick is to have a good background so you may have to mess around with the camera to see what will detect you best.

Motion Method – Make sure you set up your camera with little/few objects in the way. Once this is done adjust the lighting and focus so that the picture is as clear as possible. After you have done this you can either point your camera at a fan to create the motion or you can just wave at the camera, this is the most common method.

Duck Method - Make sure you set up your camera with little/few objects in the way. Once this is done adjust the lighting and focus so that the picture is as clear as possible. For this just sit or crouch down below the cameras field of view and then stick your arm up to grab the applicable object and then put your arm back down.

Normal Method - Make sure you set up your camera with little/few objects in the way. Once this is done adjust the lighting and focus so that the picture is as clear as possible. This is the simplest method of the bunch and only requires you to play the game normally and most often than not it is easier this way.

(credit to Shadow Kisuragi for these methods)

First Audition – 20
Complete an audition and begin making a movie.

All this achievement requires you to do is complete the introductory camera setup during your first movie.

Make a Movie – 10
Complete 1 game session.

Refer to ‘Make a Series’

Make a Trilogy - 20
Complete 3 game sessions.

Refer to ‘Make a Series’

Make a Series – 25
Complete 5 game sessions.

A game session in this game is considered as making a movie. All you need to do is complete 5 movies, if you wanted to you could replay the same movie 5 times and the achievement will unlock.

Going Solo – 10
Make a movie with only 1 player.

All you have to do for this achievement is complete a game session with only 1 player, so instead of selecting 4 players in the camera setup select 1 player and at the end of the game the achievement will unlock.
