Which DiRT game is your favourite?

Now that the third one is out for a while, which game in the series do you like most? Personally for me it seems like it is DiRT 2. Although I love DiRT as well. Even though DiRT 3 is pretty good, it doesn't appeal to me as much as the first two.

Your thoughts/opinions?

At first I was disappointed in "Dirt 3". But now (5 hours of playing later...), I love it and voted for it! But "Dirt 2" was awesome as well - as was the first one, hehe...

I voted for Dirt 3, but I then again I haven't ever played 1 or 2 so I suppose my vote should be null and void! lol

Dirt 1 Hands Down

-Real World Tracks always Win in my books and that game had the best ones
-Handeling was perfect.Cars actully had weight to them and besides baja edge of control best handeling i've seen for a rally game
-Could actully slide the cars sideways like real rally etc,2 & 3 you go sideways and do you fucking 360s
-Pikes Peak(no more needs to be said for this one)
-CORR trucks, buggys, real tracks. If these had real online i'd never leave the game.I'd pay 60$ for a full CORR game with trucks n buggys and the full 12 race season
-Have more but i need to get to bed so ya

Don't get me wrong i do like 2 & 3 but i find as a comment early "turning into tony hawk of rally" true as i like real and i find there getting away from that.

Definitely.

Also, the rally handling in DiRT was arcadey as hell. The cars turned on a dime, and there was practically no drift or any sense of feeling that the terrain you're driving on is loose at all.

I voted for DiRT 2 when I just started DiRT 3... but now that I'm a bit further into the game, I'd like to change my vote to DiRT 3.

Too bad you can't change your mind once you voted

I went with DIRT 2 but they all are good games.

I picked DIRT 2 because the trucks and buggies etc were actually fun to race with online and online had a fun factor including naming and shaming on the start line.

Overall I would have to say Dirt. For the wide variety of tracks and vehicles and Pike's Peak. For Single Player Career and Online Multi-player Dirt2. The tracks in Croatia in Dirt 2 were a lot of fun, but the Monte Carlo Tracks in Dirt 3 are measuring up quite nicely. The performance grids in Dirt 2 were better too. Dirt 3 seems to be suplimenting variety of tracks and cars with DLC.

Overall based on a complete game experience..... Colin McRae's Dirt gets my vote.

I voted for Dirt3.

I enjoyed the first 2. But they tended to get very repetitive and became a chore to play through some of the events. I've really enjoyed the Gymkhana in Dirt 3. It mixes it up a bit.

Dirt 2 by far. 3 is good but not even close as Dirt 2. The tracks are not as fun and the mini games are lame.

Plus, I like the comments of the other drivers in Dirt 2, the game feel more polished in the menus as well, in Dirt 2, you have the feeling to be a part of the game, not in Dirt 3.

The tracks on dirt 1 were the best, the online for 3 is the best, Dirt 2 was the best overall.

It's slightly frustrating how close Codemasters have come to making the perfect game each time, yet not quite done it

I completed all 3 DiRTs and I must say I enjoyed DiRT 3 at most. I totally enjoyed those Gymkhana/DC Challenges, they gave you a good variety besides the typical race modes. Also the snow tracks are awesome, I missed those in DiRT 2. Overall I think DiRT 3 is a better follower in every aspect.
