BREAKING NEWS: This week's XBLA title is..

You heard it here first!! Hot off the press, no one on the internet has announced this yet! This week's arcade title is Golden Axe. Microsoft was going to try to surprise us like they did last year with the Doom announcement, I suppose. But they're not as clever as your friendly neighborhood Krazie!

Look for the announcement tonight, but you guys get the news before ANYONE ELSE!

UPDATE: It looks as if Sonic The Hedgehog may also make his long awaited appearance on the XBLA tomorrow as well! We are expecting a duel-release of Golden Axe and Sonic The Hedgehog, although not confirmed my Microsoft yet. However, we are almost 100% sure that atleast one, if not both of these will be released tomorrow! This may lead to an announcement tonight for Genesis games being on the XBLA. Bring on Streets of Rage! Below are links to the achievements, they should be up on the main page shortly..

GOLDEN AXE?!? WTF! Do they really think this would blow my mind? Where the hell is a game like Bomberman? I would think they would lead in to E3 with a big multiplayer title like that to tout XboxLive. (dont get me wrong golden axe is obviously multi, but it has not aged as well.)

Exactly right Pants it was the best game on Genesis. As for them releasing this and the news of them making a new one maybe its a hint as to what is to come at E3?

Better than Gunstar Heros? nah. I never said it was bad, but there have been quite a few of these games recently.( THE Awseome tmnt 89 and Double Dragon come to mind...) I just dont believe this game will blow the E3 crowds mind. But im sure I will be downloading it Wednesday. I hope the put out to games this week to show off XBLA a bit.

Again, this ISNT confirmed, but it is HIGHLY likely. Look for the announcement tonight. I am also expecting some sort of announcement about Sega Genesis games coming to the XBLA, hence two of the biggest titles coming in one Wednesday. Can anyone say Streets of Rage?

if it's true i can't wait till tommorow and if they're both 400 ms points each ill be so happy but ill pay 800 for sonic and if golden's any good ill pay 800 too

Golden Axe = STUPID! (played it on the Sega Genesis way back and hated every second of it)
