So I picked this up for $8.99 at gamestop

Not exactly the Rock Revolution price yet. But I figured that I would give it a shot. So, it is ok. I am enjoying the sound track. Not enjoying the layout of the game. The highway is absolutely annoying. Got to ask is this the first game not to have an achievement guide up and running???

I'm sure there are other games that don't have achievement guides in progress. I just can't think of any :P

I'm seriously thinking about getting this too, but the full 1000 (which I plan on getting) requires the "Real Guitar" peripheral. I'm waiting until the kit drops to $30. It's $90 at BB, so just a little longer

Anyway, the highway probably won't bother me. If you've played any of the Konami music games, then you should be fairly used to the vertical highway.

you can't activate star power (I know, mojo, but I say star power, they can shove it) unless you hit the back button. Which is a major obstacle to getting the "maximum mojomorphosis" achievements unless you sing.

using the gh world tour guitar makes this not much of a problem.

I got this game the same as you, it is so much like Rock Revolution, only the presentation and graphics are worse, the soundtracks okay, hit or miss with some standouts, but I wouldn't say the audio quality is real good, especially compared to the Rock Band games, also it's really weird to calibrate...

For an RB or GH controller, the whammy bar will fire off the Mojo. You can also set it to automatically deploy in the options no matter what you use.

The vertical highway didn't bother me at all, and the career is shorter and easier and the songs aren't covers. (Even though the guitar and most of the bass on Rock Revolution was pretty danged good, the vocals were all over the place.)

It so much reminds me of RR, that's for sure. Not just the vertical highway, but the general feel.

Just ordered this from DeepDiscount for $0.99. You can use the code "ENJOY5" for $5 off and only pay shipping. I figured it was worth a dollar to check this out even if I can't get the full gamerscore yet.

Think I'll pass, even if I could find it insanely cheap. I only play drums.
