Comman & Conquer vs. Civilization Revolution

I'm looking for a stragety game. The two top games that continue appearing in my seaches are Civilization: Revolution and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. What game is better? Pro's & Con's? What price should I be looking for?

Any advice would be great!

Cant say i have played Civilization revolution, but I got Red Alert 3 at Gamestop used for $14.99 and It is a decent game but if you are looking for a serious, captivating story, I wouldnt get Red Alert 3. If you are looking to just get a strategy game that you just wanna have fun with a strategy game and just wanna play light-hearted and just for fun you will enjoy the game.

It depends on what strategy game you like or want. Red Alert 3 is a real time strategy and is quite enjoyable, Civilisation is a turned based strategy game and is easier on hard difficulty levels in my opinion.

Red Alert all the way if you can handle the 'less then on pc' controls. Civilization Revolution is a good 2nd and a bargain but won't last as long as Red Alert. Graphics/ story are way better in Red Alert. Gameplay of revolution is fun for about 10 hours then you've seen everything.

I'm actually considering between Civilization Revolution and Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars 3. I've played Red Alert 3 and like Foxx Kyle said, if you are looking for something with a solid plot, RA3 probably isn't the best bet. The actors in it are some of my favorites too, it's just the dialogue is painful at times. If you can get past that, the graphics and gameplay make up for it.

I'm pretty sure that the cheesy acting was intended.
