Achievement Guide & Roadmap

This fourth transformers game on the 360 is also the easiest. This game really won't present you with any challenges, is fun to play and has a much easier multiplayer component than previous transformers games. Given the relative lack of multiplayer fun and short campaign I would personally say that this is worth a rent more than a buy.
Step 1: Campaign Playthrough on Easy
Given that only one achievement requires you to play on hard, start a new campaign on the easiest setting. Before you play through each chapter, look at the forum guide. I have broken up the achievements into sections so you'll know all the achievements you're shooting for in each chapter prior to starting it. This will make your mop up time after beating the campaign much shorter. Other than that, it's just a matter of having fun and completing the levels.
Step 2: Multiplayer
After you beat the campaign you should have a good grasp of the game's mechanics and how to control your character. Although all of the achievements can be achieved in any mode I suggest conquest for all of them. See the achievement guide for more info on the four multiplayer achievements. This step shouldn't take you more than a couple hours.
Step 3: Mop Up
From here you should only have the general achievements and Autobots are Weak! left to do. If you missed one of the situational achievements as well, simply load up the checkpoint closest to that point and try again.
Overall this game is a lot easier than previous transformers games (especially the multiplayer). If you enjoyed the last three then you'll like this one. If you don't like it then the good news is that you'll be done with it relatively quickly.

Road Kill 25
Destroy 30 enemies while in vehicle form in Campaign.
Vehicle form is also referred to as stealth form in this game. In order to get into this form simply press down. You'll have two different weapons in this form to choose from. You can change weapons in this mode the same way you do in robot form, by pressing the button. Killing enemies in this mode is made easier by locking onto enemies using the . You should get this achievement naturally as it's easier to kill enemies in this form.
Grenade Expert 25
Eliminate 20 opponents with the Flak Grenade in Campaign.
The flak grenade can be used while in robot form only. To do so, aim the reticle at an enemy (or group of them) and press the button. If you hit an enemy with the grenade before it hits the ground it will explode on contact. All other grenade type weapons do not count toward this achievement. You can only carry three of these grenades at a time. To get more you simply need to kill enemies as they will drop refills randomly. If you're like me and didn't get this after completing the campaign, load up chapter III, checkpoint "Mayan Streets" and grind it out there. The streets are narrow and make it hard for enemies to dodge should you miss a direct hit throw. Plus the enemies drop a lot of grenades to refill your supply.
Destroy all hidden TRANSFORMERS symbols in Campaign.
There are 27 of these symbols in all and there is no menu to track which ones you have and which ones you don't. The only indication you'll get of your progress is every time you shoot a new symbol a tracker will pop up on the screen. To find these it's best to follow a collectibles guide. xRogue 5x has created a text version that can be found HERE. If you're more of a visual person, below is a video walkthrough.
Complete the Campaign.
In all, there are seven chapters in this game. Upon completing them all you will be awarded this achievement. Difficulty has no bearing on this achievement so unless you want a challenge, it's best to play the game on the Easy difficulty.
Chapter 1 Achievements
Chapter I - 25
Complete Chapter I on any difficulty.
In this chapter you will control Bumblebee. Given that this is an introduction level, nothing here should be too overwhelming for you. At the end of the chapter you will take on some helicopter Decepticons. The easiest way to shoot these enemies while they're in the air is to change into vehicle form and use the lock on feature with . The achievement unlocks when the final cut scene for the chapter begins.
Top Score: Bumblebee 25
Complete Chapter I with a score of 1000000 or more.
In order to get your multiplier up the fastest thing to do is melee enemies. You can get the multiplier all the way up to 30 if you wish but having it over 15 is still a safe bet. Your multiplier and score can both be located in the lower right corner of the screen. The enemies in this first level are very weak. Except for a few spots, you should be able to melee everyone of them you see. After you break through the 1,000,000 point barrier, I'd suggest working on either flak grenade or vehicle form kills. The achievement will pop at the end of the level provided you exceeded a score of 1,000,000.

Change into vehicle form before reaching the change form tutorial in Chapter I.
The moment you gain control of Bumblebee in chapter I, press down on the . The achievement will pop immediately.
Boot Stomper 25
Kill 3 Enemies with Bumblebee’s Kick Ability in Chapter I.
You can do this anywhere you want in the level but I suggest doing it on your first encounter with the Decepticons. In order to use this ability you must have an enemy in front of you and press the . The ability recharges on its own so after you use it just take cover until it's ready to go again. You know it's fully recharged when the icon in the top left of the screen is yellow.

Chapter 2 AchievementsChapter II 25
Complete Chapter II on any difficulty.
In this level you will be controlling Ironhide. The only two parts of the level which may give you some trouble are the ones with Mix Master. In the first encounter with him I suggest falling as far back from him as possible and snipe the enemies while standing behind the columns. Use the grenade blossom with as much as possible as well since it will kill everything. After Mix Master jumps down simply keep a column between you and him and use Heavy Iron on the pulleys once it's charged with . In the final encounter with Mix Master just use Heavy Iron 2.0 on him with and avoid his attacks in robot form while it recharges. The achievement unlocks when the final cut scene for the chapter begins.

The achievement will pop at the end of the level provided you exceeded a score of 1,000,000.
Seek and Destroy 25
Kill 25 Enemies using Grenade Blossom in Chapter II.
As with all abilities, you must kill enemies to recharge with grenade blossom ability. It's best to use this ability whenever you enter a new area with enemies. This will ensure the maximum amount of kills per use. A tracker will appear on the screen periodically to let you know your progress toward the achievement.
Rule With An Iron Fist 25
Kill 20 enemies with Ironhide's Melee attack in Chapter II.
If you're going for the Top Score: Ironhide achievement then this should be a breeze. Ironhide doesn't have a special melee attack. Simply press in front of an enemy to melee them. A tracker will appear on the screen periodically to let you know your progress toward the achievement.
Chapter 3 Achievements
Chapter III 25
Complete Chapter III on any difficulty.
In this level you will be controlling Mirage. The level is just as easy as the previous two. After you lose your weapons and vehicle form, you will only be able to melee and cloak. I found it best to cloak with sneak up on an enemy and kill as many as possible before cloaking again to retreat and regenerate. Other than that portion the level is just about killing wave upon wave of enemy. The achievement unlocks when the final cut scene for the chapter begins.
Top Score: Mirage 25
Complete Chapter III with a score of 800000 or more.
In order to get your multiplier up the fastest thing to do is melee enemies. You can get the multiplier all the way up to 30 if you wish but having it over 15 is still a safe bet. Your multiplier and score can both be located in the lower right corner of the screen. In the portion where you can only melee, I suggest killing everything. The large tank-like and cat-like enemies may give you some trouble but they give you a good amount of points and set you up for an easier time once you get your weapons back. After you break through the 800,000 point barrier, I'd suggest working on either flak grenade or vehicle form kills. The achievement will pop at the end of the level provided you exceeded a score of 800,000.
Good Driver Discount 25
Avoid taking any damage from Starscream’s proximity mines in Chapter III.
At the start of the level, after the timed portion, Starscream will shoot bombs into the road that will explode if you get too close. Once you see the first one, take your time and shoot all of the ones in your path. You can stay in vehicle form for this. There is no time limit so don't feel hurried.
Body Count 25
While holding out for Reynolds to send backup in Chapter III, 30 Decepticons are killed.
For some reason, people seem to have a lot of trouble with this achievement. The achievement begins after you activate the item atop the Mayan Temple and then fight the Enforcer. The main problem with this achievement is that Sideswipe and Bumblebee are too efficient. The best way I've found to get this achievement is to focus on the enemies at the bottom level. Be sure to use as much as possible as well. After you kill about 10 enemies, let yourself die and reload the checkpoint. Then continue killing the enemies and the achievement should pop no problem. If you miss this during the campaign, load up the Ancient Ruins checkpoint, fight the Enforcer and try again.

Chapter 4 AchievementsChapter IV 25
Complete Chapter IV on any difficulty
In this level you will be controlling Soundwave and Laserbeak. I actually liked and hated this level at the same time. I really enjoyed using Soundwave and Laserbeak but hated the extremely long corridors you had to travel as Laserbeak. There are really no hard parts in this level to be honest. The hardest part may be just not getting lost. If you do get lost, try to retrace your steps. It may also be helpful to investigate any doors you see as some open only as you get close to them. The achievement unlocks when the final cut scene for the chapter begins.
Top Score: Soundwave 25
Complete Chapter IV with a score of 1000000 or more.
In order to get your multiplier up the fastest thing to do is melee enemies. You can get the multiplier all the way up to 30 if you wish but having it over 15 is still a safe bet. Your multiplier and score can both be located in the lower right corner of the screen. This may actually be the easiest level to get one million points on. Soundwave's stun attack makes it really easy to control large groups of enemies and melee them. Also the very large Autobots can give you tons of points if you have a high multiplier prior to killing them. After you break through the 1,000,000 point barrier, I'd suggest working on either flak grenade or vehicle form kills. The achievement will pop at the end of the level provided you exceeded a score of 1,000,000.
Kill 10 Autobots with Laserbeak's ram ability in Chapter IV.
Ram is an ability so it will recharge over time. I found it easiest to use Laserbeak's secondary weapon that shoots electricity that stuns the autobots then using ram on them while stunned. If you try and rush in without stunning they will often dodge. Once you ram an enemy just fly around and avoid being shot until ram is recharged. A tracker will appear on the screen periodically to let you know your progress toward the achievement.
Stun 10 Autobots with Soundwave's stun ability in Chapter IV.
Stun is an ability so you must kill enemies to recharge it. It's best to use this ability whenever you enter a new area with enemies. This will ensure the maximum amount of enemies affected per use. It's also a line of sight weapon (not omnidirectional) with limited range. Be sure there's a few enemies grouped up in front of you prior to using it. A tracker will appear on the screen periodically to let you know your progress toward the achievement.
Chapter 5 Achievements
Chapter V 25
Complete Chapter V on any difficulty.
this level you will be controlling Starscream. This level is a little different from the previous ones in that you'll be spending most of it flying. The only thing that may throw you off is that there is no auto tracking with in vehicle form. Instead you must use your reticule to lock on to enemies. You'll know you're locked on when the square around them gets really tight. Other than that it's just about barrel rolling with and avoiding damage while you kill the other planes and Stratosphere. The achievement unlocks when the final cut scene for the chapter begins.
Wipe out all secret base ground defenders within 60 seconds in Chapter V.
This is literally the very first part of chapter 5. Once you gain control of Starscream, simply use his rocket launcher, melee attacks and flak grenades to kill every enemy as fast as possible. Once you kill the big Autobot the achievement will pop.
Furious Flyer 25
Fly through the canyons after Air Raid in 120 seconds in Chapter V.
In the beginning area, after Air Raid stuns you and the lasers deactivate. You will follow him through some canyons. All you need to do is focus on flying as fast as possible through this area. Be sure you're holding down to fly faster. The thing that will make or break you time is how quick you can kill the two missile turrets next to the lasers that will block your path. Kill these as fast as possible and you should be able to beat this part of the chapter in plenty of time. The achievement will pop right before you enter the semi-circular tube before you see Stratosphere. If you miss this in the campaign, load up the "Canyon Chase" checkpoint.
Surprise Package 25
In the air battle, activate Starscream's Guided Missile ability 5 times without dying in Chapter V.
This ability requires you to kill enemies to charge it. You don't actually have to kill anything with it either. You'll know you're ready to fire the missile when there is a white missile over Starscream's cockpit. Press to fire the missile. You can aim for Stratosphere but be warned that if you damage him too much the enemies will stop spawning and you will be unable to charge up the missile again. I preferred to press as soon as the missile was fired to ensure I didn't hit anything. Then I just locked onto other planes by aiming my reticule at them and killed them until it was time to fire another guided missile. If you miss this in the campaign, load up the "Stealth Force Engaged" checkpoint.

Chapter 6 AchievementsChapter VI 25
Complete Chapter VI on any difficulty.
In this chapter you will be controlling Megatron. His fusion cannon is far and away his most powerful and should be what you primarily use. Drain is also very useful when you get surrounded since it will refill your health and damage all enemies within range. The big thing to remember is to keep shooting enemies while you drain them for free shots. The battles with Warpath and Optimus are simple if you just use and abuse the fusion cannon. The achievement unlocks when the final cut scene for the chapter begins.
Top Score: Megatron 25
Complete Chapter VI with a score of 2000000 or more.
In order to get your multiplier up the fastest thing to do is melee enemies. You can get the multiplier all the way up to 30 if you wish but having it over 15 is still a safe bet. Your multiplier and score can both be located in the lower right corner of the screen. Not much different to do here. There's plenty of enemies to melee to get your multiplier up and some that are on ledges that you'll be forced to shoot. I personally didn't use the hatchling ability at all except where required. Again the large autobots off huge points if you kill them with a good multiplier. After you break through the 2,000,000 point barrier, I'd suggest working on either flak grenade or vehicle form kills. The achievement will pop at the end of the level provided you exceeded a score of 2,000,000.
Autobots are Weak! 25
Defeat all 3 waves in Megatron's Lair without dying on Hard Difficulty in Chapter VI.
If you're playing the campaign on easy (and you should be) then you'll have to replay campaign to get this one. Reload the first checkpoint "Mission Start." For the first wave use drain to start out and thin out the crowd a little bit. After that, hide away as best you can and let your allies to all the work. Only fight when absolutely necessary here. For the second and third waves it's much of the same except you can use the fusion cannon to speed things up a little bit. Be careful not to get too exposed and use drain if you get in a pinch. The achievement will pop once the blast doors close behind you.
Drain 5000 health from enemies in Chapter VI.
Drain is an ability that requires you to kill enemies to use it. Once you can use it, be sure you're in as big a crowd as possible as this ability will affect all enemies within its range. Using it on large enemies is also recommended as they cannot die to it thus allowing you to use the ability for the longest amount of time possible. A tracker will appear on the screen periodically to let you know your progress toward the achievement.
Chapter 7 AchievementsChapter VII 25
Complete Chapter VII on any difficulty
In this chapter you will be controlling Optimus Prime. The entire chapter happens in the same room you start in. You start with a fight against one driller arm, then a brief skirmish with Shockwave, then a fight against all four driller arms and the head followed by a final showdown with Shockwave. To defeat the arms quickly, use the machine gun to damage them and gain energon. Once the shoulder rockets are charged, unleash them on an arm for great damage. The only thing to know when fighting Shockwave is that he is only damageable on his back. Any attacks to his front will do nothing. The achievement unlocks when the final cut scene for the chapter begins.
Fleet of Foot 25
When one Driller arm is attacking, avoid all attacks in Chapter VII.
This is done during the first battle of chapter VII. The easiest way to do this is to stay back away from Shockwave and the arm as far as possible on the platform. When the arm poses to do it's sweep attack across the platform, jump off it into the cryo fluid. Then go back on it and continue fighting. The arm also does a straight on attack that's super easy to miss and deploys spiders. I'm not sure if the spiders count if they hit you so it's best to avoid them as well. If you use rockets as much as possible and pelt the arm with machine gun fire you'll most likely kill it before it even deploys spiders. If you miss this in the campaign, load up the "Secret Weapon" checkpoint.
Counting Coup 25
Use only melee attacks on Shockwave's power core to make him retreat to his cryo platform.
Immediately following the opportunity to get Fleet of Foot, Shockwave will jump from his platform and attack you. For this achievement, the only attack you can use is melee with the . He is only vulnerable on his back so wait for him to attack, get behind him and attack. Be patient here to avoid dying as there is no time limit. After about 12 hits on easy difficulty he will move back to his platform and the achievement will pop.
Primed for Combat 25
Activate Optimus' Shoulder Rocket ability 5 times without dying in Chapter VII.
The shoulder rocket is an ability that requires you to kill enemies to use it. You gain energon in this level by damaging the arms/Shockwave and killing the spiders. If you're playing on easy it shouldn't be hard not to die. The rockets are really helpful when killing the four arms of the driller. The amount of energon the arms give for damaging them is huge. In fact, I got this achievement before I even entered the final battle with Shockwave.

The Champion 25
Reach level 20 in any single class in Multiplayer.
There are four classes yall. They are Scout, Hunter, Commander and Warrior. For this achievement you only need to get one of these classes to level 20. Each class has it's own benefits and it's up to you to figure out which one you like the best. You can only gain experience in public matches so don't bother trying to boost in private. The best mode to gain experience in is conquest. All you need to focus on in this mode is capturing beacons. Once the opposing team captures on, move in to recapture it. You can kill people along the way but capturing is easier and gives you good xp. I personally think that scout and hunter are easier to level up in conquest because they're vehicle forms move faster, allowing you to go from beacon to beacon quicker. Overall classes level up very quickly in this game and it should only take 5-10 matches of conquest to hit level 20 in one class.
Survive 60 seconds in a public multiplayer match without being killed.
Public matches are found by using the "Find Match" option in the multiplayer menu. For this achievement I suggest playing conquest. The reason is that so long as you stay away from the three beacons you most likely won't find an enemy in your path. The other thing to do is to take vehicle form. Reason is that you're stronger in this mode, harder to see and can make a quick escape should you encounter an opposing player. The achievement pops once you die or the match ends.
Power Surge 25
Use an active ability 5 times in a public multiplayer match.
Your active ability is the one that refills automatically in robot form. It will not refill while in vehicle form. For this achievement I suggest playing conquest. The reason is that so long as you stay away from the three beacons you most likely won't find an enemy in your path. Once you're alone, just stand in a corner and let your ability charge, use it and wait for it to recharge. This achievement is across the match so if you do die don't worry. So long as you press use the ability 5 times in the match the achievement will pop on the fifth usage.
Be the first one eliminated in a public multiplayer match.
Although you can get this achievement in any mode, I suggest using conquest. As soon as the match begins, change into vehicle form and make a beeline to the beacon closest to the opposing team. Hopefully you get there and get slaughtered. There's a lot of luck to this achievement so don't get discouraged if you don't die first. Also keep in mind that you usually join games in progress when using the "Find Match" option. This means you'll need to stay in the lobby after the game ends to be able to spawn at the beginning of a new one.
