Skyrim Beat the Main Quest.. Still so Much to Do

Quote:
I went into Skyrim with a mission and a set of rules.
One, I would not pick up a single weapon. I started the game with my fist and the ever so useful flames spell. I ran around getting into mischief, running away from dragons and looking everywhere for magical loot.
This applies to me, but I love the fact that the game simply never ends, nobody will ever complete Skyrim. There's so many side quests left, to get to a level 50, level 100 my skills, etc.... I'm only at 450 for achievements in the Game, I have so much more to do.

Can't wait for the DLC.

I can't enjoy the game completely until I have gotten 1000/1000, It feels like a chore, So my first playthrough I destroyed the achievements.

Second and third playthrough are way more fun, I don't have to worry about getting this or that.

Where do you find the time?

I've barely touched the main storyline, instead i'm trying to knock out the misc quest and factions, but the world of Skyrim is so distracting.

Well, I run my own Personal Training business and gym, So the only time I actually work is when I have to get replacement equipment or train clients who want a private session.

So honestly I just sit back and make money, I carry my profile/save game on a USB drive, which I don't have to do now because of cloud, and I have an Xbox in my office and at home lol.

Man it's impossible to do everything. Everytime I hop on a quest, I start it...get to the location...get distracted...start exploring...next thing you know I'm over encumbered, then I head back to sell/drop loot, then I enchant, make some potions, then end up overhearing someone talking about some problem they have...then I start their quest...and the cycle starts over...can't ever just complete something...

FKING GAME OF THE YEAR FASHO! lol

In all honesty... Once I 1000/1000, The game will be shelved for awhile.

I love the game, but after I finished the main story and main side quests, the questing kind of became un-important. I'm level 46 and can comfortably take on any foe, I like my armor, and I have about $300,000 with nothing to spend it on. I'm not sure what else I could gain from doing quests, other then little rewards i'd probably just sell for more money.

I will probably pick up Skyrim again (Definitely when the DLC starts hitting), but right now I have too many unplayed games to complete every little thing in Skyrim just for the sake of doing it. lol.

I've only just finished the main quests (how freaking awesome were the final couple of main quests?) as I left them to "last" on purpose. I say last in quotation marks because even though I've done all the Thieves/Mages/Companion/Dark Brotherhood/Daedric/Civil War quests, found all 11 of the treasure hunts, found every word of every shout, I still haven't finished this game in my opinion. I still have several side quests and misc. objectives that I haven't started (but know how to due to having the guide) and I still have probably 100 or so dungeons/locations to discover and/or clear because of my glitch with an early side quest caused by exploring Geirmund's Hall before I was supposed to. I then played the rest of the game with a fear of exploring for fear of stuffing up more quests. Not to mention all the random encounters that I have yet to see. Oh and there are several effects that I haven't witnessed from the Wabbajack yet that I really want to. 310 hours in and counting. Second playthrough will be just as fun to make a different character race and see how that effects dialogue and NPC interaction throughout the game. Also to make the opposite choices as playthrough 1 and see those outcomes also.
