Clock puzzle solver

I wish I would have found it sooner...

Explantion:

Solver Site:
http://nyusuke.com/game/ff13/ff13-2puzzle.html

0 = the 12'oclock position, then clockwise counting up until you reach the top again.

But wait, this tool has 12 slots will it work for puzzles with less numbers? Yes! The programmer built it dynamically, just fill in the numbers on the puzzle and it will solve them all for you.

not trying to make you seem like a dick, nor myself, but people really do need to use those sticky threads or search function a bit better.

He knows how to use the search function. Though he has 11 posts, he has been on the site for quite some time. He did use the search function but did not check the encyclopedia portion. That's all, simple mistake. Was he trying to help? Yes. Should he get rude comments? Nope.

Also versus just linking you, he explained how it works and posted a youtube video.

Quite off-topic, but how does this puzzle work, anyway? He said something in the line of "I s**k at math", but what does the puzzle have to do with math? What I'm asking is how to solve these kind of puzzles yourself?

The clock puzzles can be quite annoying..

You start the puzzle by activating a certain number with the A button. Then the clock hands will move the amount of spaces away from your position equal to that number you activated. Clear all the numbers off the clock to complete it.

Basically you need to find a start point based on which number can't be reached through another number. So then you pick that (say it's a 3) and the clock hands will move 3 spaces both left and right. Then you have to choose the next number from the 2 choices that will allow you to move to another number. The goal is to clear the whole clock and not have any numbers left over. So you need to plan out your moves so you don't get "stranded" without a way to get to a number. There really isn't any math involved per se, it's more of a logic puzzle than anything else.
