How do I use the Catalogue 1 DLC?

I grabbed this the other day and couldn't figure out how to use it, so i looked it up online, but got no answers. When I try to use the DLC in the dashboard, it says to use the game it came with, and the DLC description says you can't access it on the disc, and I can't find it.

From what I gathered from googling it for a few hours, it's supposed to be a list of all the create a soul equips, which I'd like to see, but it seems nobody anywhere knows how to use it...

Suggestions?

The Catalogue is simply that.

A "catalogue".

A list.

It lists the equipment already there. It does not add anything new.

As your player profile grows the creation options grow as well.

Don't be too cross.

It was free.

There's a ton of stuff available for character creation. Just keep playing and you'll eventually unlock it all.

I don't really think you comprehended my post that well....
I know what a catalogue is, and I know how to unlock things, which is not what im asking for help with.
My question was how do I use the DLC, if it both requires the disc and cant be run on the disc...
There's no way to access the Catalogue, so explaining to me what a catalogue is is pointless in this situation.

Don't the items just go straight in to the character creation section?

I mis-read it and mis-understood it as well.

Sorry about that. I'm not really sure. Best guess is that it allows you to view extra stuff other people have on their characters but that's only a guess.

No idea how to access it.

Are they not in the Character creation bit?

No. You are thinking of the wrong thing, probably. I'm not asking where the downloaded create a character items are.
One of the dlc's is supposedly a catalogue that allows you to see a list of the equips you can get. Except they made it so its not accessible in any way or form...

Umm, last I checked, in certain games, catalog DLC's are supposedly compatibility packs in case you don't have the DLC and the other person online does so you can view it.

Isn't that just for online use? Try there.

I would have considered this except it said nothing about it being a compatibility pack, and didn't say the compatibility pack was necessary anywhere in the other DLC descriptions.
Usually if it's needed it'll tell you, from all the packs I've seen.
I wont say that isn't what it is however because they pretty much said it isn't accessible in any way shape or form anyhow..

Oh well. Didn't hurt to ask. I guess if someone finds out exactly what it is for sure, may as well post it, but till then it's just garbage.

Yeah it's so that you can see all DLC CAS items worn by other people online. Still got some appearing naked though despite downloading it...

I downloaded the catalogue as well. Seems Matt36 totally missed the point.
I'm assuming it's a document you can view from the dashboard, except.....diddly squat. Nice goin Namco.
