How long did you take to beat the game?

It took me about 11-20 hours the first time because i was going for a lot of the achievements. The second time on hard mode it took me less than 10. And I just got 1000 in the game. those big daddies are tough on hard mode

I'd have to guess 11-20 hours, I spent a while looking for Nitro Splicers and getting the items for the achievements before taking down the final boss. But I think I ploughed through the story quite quickly.

11-20 i guess, but i backtracked a lot and did searching.

not as much as i could have done, but enough to keep me occupied until i felt the need to continue with the story. would have taken a lot less if i always purely ran towards the arrow and wasnt going for other achieves i.e research.

ya, i backtracked the first time to get the audio diaries but i found out i missed one in the control room. so i had to get those during hard mode so that made it a bit longer

I'd say about 11 - 20hrs on the first run through on normal. I got 700 out of it then, but messed up a few achievements in my haste, so now I'm going back on easy to be more careful. Gotta do the damn thing on hard afterwards *sigh* But at least (hopefully!) I wont have to worry about achievements, and can shoot through it lol.

$130?

How the hell did you spend that much money on it?

It was only $70 for the most expensive version over there. I sincrely hope you are talking about adjusted dollars, cause you got ripped off big time if you aren't.

Still haven't been able to play this yet. Tomorrow's the day tho!

I'd say about 16 hours, although I felt I rushed through it way too quickly. Was so consumed with getting achievements that I really didn't listen very carefully to the diary messages. Got 900 on first play through, now gonna use my save before final boss to backtrack for diaries I've missed. Gonna leave it a while before playing through on hard, then hopefully I'll appreciate the story even more. Oh yeh, why on earth would you just want to leg it through a game like this in under 10 hours?

yeah my first playthrough was about 2 days of exploring, but the second one was just for achievements and took about 10 hours running through with a guide.

It took me approx. 20 hours gaining 960 points my first playthrough on normal I took my time got every diary and tonic and weapon upgrade. I think it will take me probably another 8-10 to beat it on hard.

Under 10 the first time I played it, but it was on normal, and I wasn't concerned about diaries really....but when I was going back through to get the diaries and other achievements it took me longer...

Overall, the total time played for this game for me was probably 20-30 hours...
