Thumbs up Achievement Guide and Road Map

Overview:
+Estimated achievement difficulty: 5/10
+Offline: 50 (1000) (Some can be obtained online)
+Approximate amount of time to 1000: 20-25 hours
+Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1
+Number of missable achievements: None (Chapter Select)
+Do cheat codes disable achievements? N/A
+Does difficulty affect achievements? Yes (Campaign/Special Ops - Veteran)
+Glitchy achievements?
+Unobtainable achievements? None
+Extra equipment needed? A co-op partner for Spec Ops

Road Map:

1. Campaign on Veteran
There are a total of 16 missions spread out through 3 acts in campaign mode. Veteran difficulty is available from the start of the game, so if you are familiar with the CoD franchise and want to delve into the shortest route possible for 1000GS, fire it up on Veteran. Like all other IW Call of Duty games on the 360, you are a bullet and frag magnet, and your allies only push up on your lead.

Just starting up the campaign will earn you one achievement "Back in the Fight"

There is an achievement accompanying the completion of each mission with the exception of "Dust to Dust":

"Too Big to Fail" - Black Tuesday
"Wet Work" - Hunter Killer
"Carpe Diem" - Persona Non Grata
"Frequent Flyer" - Turbulence
"Up to No Good" - Back on the Grid
"One Way Ticket" - Mind the Gap
"Welcome to WW3" - Goalpost
"Sandstorm!" - Return to Sender
"Back Seat Driver" - Bag and Drag
"We'll Always Have Paris" - Iron Lady
"Vive Le Revolution!" - Eye of the Storm
"Requiem" - Blood Brothers
"Storm the Castle" - Stronghold
"Bad First Date" - Scorched Earth
"Diamond in the Rough" - Down the Rabbit Hole

With the completion of the level 'Dust to Dust', the achievement "Who Dares Win" will unlock

And likewise with previous Call of Duty games, the veteran campaign achievements comes in sets of missions;

"The Big Apple" - Black Tuesday, Hunter Killer
"Out of the Frying Pan..." - Persona Non Grata, Turbulence, Back on the Grid
"Payback" - Mind the Gap, Goalpost, Return to Sender
"City of Lights" - Bag and Drag, Iron Lady
"The Darkest Hour" - Eye of the Storm, Blood Brothers, Stronghold
"This is the End" - Scorched Earth, Down the Rabbit Hole, Dust to Dust

And of course, the hardened/veteran completion achievement "The Best of the Best" will unlock after completing all the missions in either difficulty.

There are also mission specific achievements in a few select missions as listed:
"This is my boomstick" - Black Tuesday
"What goes up..." - Persona Non Grata
"Flight Attendant" - Turbulence
"For whom the Shell Tolls" - Back on the Grid
"Kill Box" - Return to Sender
"Danger Close" - Bag and Drag
"Menage a Trois" - Iron Lady
"Nein" - Scorched Earth

Finally, there are non-specific achievements (ones that can be done in any level, spec ops included) that can be obtained through single-player play (in brackets is the level that it is easily done on)

"Strike!" (Persona Non Grata)
"Jack the Ripper" (Stronghold, Spec Ops)

You should also take the time to collect all 46 intel for the achievements "Informant" and "Scout Leader".

2. Spec Ops Missions on Veteran
Just like in Modern Warfare 2, Spec Ops Mission Mode is a series of 16 special operations missions designed around various tasks. Other than the 1st mission (time-based for 3 stars), the required completion of the other 15 current spec ops missions on Veteran difficulty to attain all 48 stars for the achievement "Overachiever".

I'd advise you to play these missions with a partner, just for the fact that instead of dying, you go down and have a chance to revive each other. Veteran is very unforgiving in terms of yourself being a complete bullet/grenade magnet, and at times you will find yourself quite frustrated. If you get stuck on one mission, go play another one (they do not unlock in progressive succession but rather off of your rank) and then come back to it later.

The following achievements are done in this mode;

"50/50"
"No Assistance Required
"Brag Rags"
"Tactician"
"Overachiever"

3. Spec Ops Waves
There are currently a total of 16 maps available for Spec Ops, coming in sets of 4 of increasing difficulty that unlock at ranks 8, 15 and 25. Along with the needed completion up to at least wave 15 on every map (Unstoppable), there are also a few specific achievements that can only be unlocked in this mode.

You will also need to reach Rank 50 of Special Ops (you can gain xp to rank up through playing both survival and missions). The Type 95 assault rifle requires rank 50 to unlock for purchase and is needed for the achievement "Arms Dealer".

For Spec ops waves, it is advised to play in a team as that will make the overall experience much better, as well as some of the achievements easier to earn. This is pretty much CoD's zombies replacement, except I personally feel that it's more fun, especially since you have access to all the armory after wave 4.

The achievements that are available to be obtained by playing this mode are;

"Birdie"
"Serrated Edge"
"Arms Dealer"
"Danger Zone"
"Defense Spending"
"Get Rich or Die Trying"
"I Live"
"Survivor"
"Unstoppable"

4. Conclusion

For the absolute fastest route to 1000GS, start and complete the campaign on Veteran whilst obtaining the mission specific achievements as well as intel. Then complete each of the 16 special ops missions on Veteran (preferably with a partner), also while obtaining the specific achievements in that mode. Finally, play each of the 16 maps in spec ops wave mode up to wave 15, whilst obtaining the specific achievements there.

All in all, this game is quite an easy 1000GS, especially if you are a grizzled Call of Duty veteran and know what this game is all about. There are really no multiplayer-based achievements (although you can consider the spec op achievements 'multiplayer') because you can do them all offline with 2 players.

5. Credits
bLaKgRaVy - for some of the early suggestions and optimizations, as well as pointing out missing bits
DOPE BOI - Better location for "Strike!"
raptor_256 - suggesting method #2 for Jack the Ripper"
Zombiehugger - confirming armor dmg for "Birdie"
Tuzky - confirming purchase accumulation for Armory achievements

Single Player Campaign

Back in the Fight - 5
Start the Single Player Campaign on any difficulty.

Start the campaign on any difficulty, and cutscene kickstarting the story will play. After the cutscene is finished the achievement will unlock.

This is My Boomstick - 20
Kill 30 enemies with the XM25 in "Black Tuesday."

In the first mission “Black Tuesday”, you will start out with the XM25 (Hit Y to switch weapons). The XM25 is a grenade launcher, so take aim into a group and start firing. You start out with 8 shots, but use them ASAP (ammo refill after jewellery store and ammo crates just inside the stock exchange). The stock exchange area on the 2nd floor has a ton of enemies, so if you haven’t gotten the achievement by then, this area is your best bet to start spamming your XM25.

Too Big to Fail - 10
Destroy the Jamming Tower. Complete "Black Tuesday" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Wet Work - 10
Take back New York Harbor. Complete "Hunter Killer" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

What Goes Up... - 20
Destroy all the choppers with only the UGV's grenade launcher in "Persona Non Grata."

Near the end of the mission “Persona Non Grata” you take control of the UGV bot to clear out a path for Price and Soap to escape. The RT fires an unlimited machine gun, but the RB fires a limited number of 25 grenades. There are a total of 5 helicopters.
  • 1 above you right when you drive out of the shack
  • After going down the street and onto the roof of the building, 3 more will come
  • Last helicopter comes when you reach the last construction area where you defend your escape helicopter

Carpe Diem - 10
Escape the mountain safe house. Complete "Persona Non Grata" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Flight Attendant - 20
Kill all 5 enemies during the zero-g sequence in "Turbulence."

During the mission “Turbulence”, after the plane gets hi-jacked, leave the conference room and in the next area as soon as you step out into the open, you will enter the zero-g sequence (zero gravity). Make sure you pick up one of the AK74s-u from the enemies you had to kill, and use that along with your pistol to kill the 5 enemies before the sequence ends.

Neomop's Gamercard
Frequent Flyer - 10
Defend the Russian President. Complete "Turbulence" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

For Whom the Shell Tolls - 20

Destroy all targets during the mortar sequence with only 4 shells in "Back on the Grid."

After you get compromised, quickly progress through the map until you reach the area with the mortar shelling you. Take out the enemy firing the mortar, then go up to his perch. More enemies and cars will come shortly after down the road. Bunch them up and shell the trucks (explosion kills count) as they drive in.

Up to No Good
- 10
Infiltrate the village. Complete "Back on the Grid" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

One Way Ticket - 10

Make it to Westminster. Complete "Mind the Gap" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Welcome to WW3 - 10

Save the US Vice President. Complete "Goalpost" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Kill Box - 20

Kill 20 enemies with the Chopper Gunner in a single run in "Return to Sender."

In the mission “Return to Sender”, you will remotely take control of a chopper gunner to clear out multiple enemies in the first area. I found it easiest to attempt this on the 2nd run (you get 2 runs total). Enemies are marked with the red boxes, so spam your fire down on them. Do not let go of your right trigger unless you need to re-stabilize your aim because the chopper gunner does not run out of ammo.

Sandstorm! - 10

Assault the shipping company. Complete "Return to Sender" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Danger Close - 20
Take down a chopper with an AC-130 smoke grenade in "Bag and Drag."

In the mission “Bag and Drag”, you will come across the narrow street where you are given smoke grenades to take out a tank. Right after this part, helicopters will come and air-drop enemies on the plaza in front of your position. Toss one of smoke marker grenades under the helicopter, and when the AC130 rains shells down and knocks out one of the helicopters, this achievement is yours.

Back Seat Driver - 10
Track down Volk. Complete "Bag and Drag" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Ménage à Trois - 20
Destroy 3 tanks with a single 105mm shot in "Iron Lady."

At the start of the mission “Iron Lady”, you get to take control of an AC130 gunner to clear out the large circular street in front of your teammates. Switch to the infrared vision to get an easier view on enemy units. You will need to wait a minute for a couple of the tanks moving in from outside the street to bunch up, then fire a shell at the middle of the 3 tanks to knock all 3 out.

We'll Always Have Paris - 10
Escape Paris with Volk. Complete "Iron Lady" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Vive la Révolution! - 10
Reach the church. Complete "Eye of the Storm" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Requiem - 10
Escape the city. Complete "Blood Brothers" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Storm the Castle - 10
Discover Makarov's next move. Complete "Stronghold" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Nein - 20
Kill 9 enemies with A-10 strafing runs in "Scorched Earth."

After getting to the top of the Reisdorf and sniping the opposite building for Granite team to land, you will be given command to call in A-10's on enemies and tanks down on the street directly below. Wait till the group of enemies come outside from the building close to where the tanks are driving down, and place your strafing coordinates there.

Bad First Date - 10
Find the girl. Complete "Scorched Earth" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Diamond in the Rough - 10
Rescue the Russian President. Complete "Down the Rabbit Hole" on any difficulty.

Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.

Who Dares Wins - 40
Complete the campaign on any difficulty.

You get one achievement for completing each mission worth 10G, and then the 40G for finishing every mission. There are 3 acts for a total of 16 missions. You will want to grab the intel as you complete your campaign, as well as unlocking the mission specific achievements while you’re at it.

The Big Apple - 25
Complete "Black Tuesday" and "Hunter Killer" on Veteran difficulty.

Unlocks after the completion of all the listed missions. See "The Best of the Best" for more details.

Out of the Frying Pan... - 25
Complete "Persona Non Grata", "Turbulence", and "Back on the Grid" on Veteran difficulty.

Unlocks after the completion of all the listed missions. See "The Best of the Best" for more details.

Payback - 25
Complete "Mind the Gap", "Goalpost", and "Return to Sender" on Veteran difficulty.

Unlocks after the completion of all the listed missions. See "The Best of the Best" for more details.

City Lights - 25
Complete "Bag and Drag" and "Iron Lady" on Veteran difficulty.

Unlocks after the completion of all the listed missions. See "The Best of the Best" for more details.

The Darkest Hour - 25
Complete "Eye of the Storm", "Blood Brothers", and "Stronghold" on Veteran difficulty.

Unlocks after the completion of all the listed missions. See "The Best of the Best" for more details.

This is the End - 25
Complete "Scorched Earth", "Down the Rabbit Hole", and "Dust to Dust" on Veteran difficulty.

Unlocks after the completion of all the listed missions. See "The Best of the Best" for more details.

The Best of the Best - 100
Complete the campaign on Hardened or Veteran difficulty.

Just like in previous CoD campaigns, you can play on Hardened or Veteran for this achievement, but you will unlock the grouped missions achievements playing on veteran. As far as tips go, keep advancing up whenever possible (just like in previous CoD games your AI squad will sit back until you move up). If you have trouble pushing up in certain areas, use flashbangs and kill enemies yourself to create space. Just remember that in this mode, you are a bullet magnet, so never straddle around in the open during a firefight.

Strike! - 20
Kill 5 enemies with a single grenade in Single Player or Special Ops.

There are numerous opportunities to do this achievement on throughout the game. The first spot in this game that is easiest to perform this achievement is in the mission "Persona Non Grata". After getting information from Nikolai that there is an UGV that your team can use to clear a path for extraction, make your way down the street, until you come to the point where you have to move into a building on the right. The path to the front though, has a big gate blocking and probably 10 enemy troops firing at you. Cook a grenade and toss it through the gate to get this achievement.

Jack the Ripper - 20
Melee 5 enemies in a row in Single Player or Special Ops.

Method 1: In the mission “Stronghold”, after entering the compound and going downstairs, Price will tell you to put on your night-vision goggles and then he will kill the lights. Start running around in this cell area and just knife enemies because they cannot see you (or at the very least, react very late).

Method 2: Start a game of Spec Ops Survival. The first wave will have enough enemies for you to melee, and they carry the slow-shooting Model 1887's and have terrible accuracy. Run around and knife them.

Informant - 20
Collect 22 Intel Items.

Collect 22 Intel items in the single player campaign. See "Scout Leader" for more details.

Scout Leader - 35
Collect 46 Intel Items.

There are a total of 46 intel in this game spread through 16 missions. Each mission has at least 1 intel, with 2 missions having up to 5. Most of the intel are in straightforward locations, but if you need to, use the intel guide as you go along to ensure you do not miss any. Here is a list of the # of intel items in each level.

Black Tuesday – 5
Hunter Killer – 2
Persona Non Grata – 4
Turbulence – 2
Back on the Grid – 3
Mind the Gap - 3
Goalpost – 3
Return to Sender – 3
Bag and Drag – 4
Iron Lady – 2
Eye of the Storm – 2
Blood Brothers – 1
Stronghold - 2
Scorched Earth – 5
Down the Rabbit Hole – 2
Dust to Dust -3

Here is a detailed picture guide to all the intel locations.
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f...d.php?t=340566

NOTES:
- There are a lot of people saying that they can only get 45/46 intel. This is NOT the case. On the mission "Mind the Gap", the pause screen will show 2 intel available from the start of the mission until you reach the crashed subway part. After you crash the subway, pause again and it will show the last intel available

Special Ops Wave

Birdie - 20
Kill 2 enemy helicopters without getting hit in a Special Ops Survival game.

First off, choose a map where the Survival Air Support Armory is located inside to protect you from helicopter fire. The following maps are good choices;

Carbon (Tier 2)

This is probably easiest done early in the game when the first 2 helicopters show up at about wave 6.

Method 1: Predator Missiles (Safe Method)
Each predator missile costs $2500, so you will need $5000 for both helos. Shoot a missile at one helicopter, then quickly buy another one and finish off the other helicopter (You can only have 1 air support package/weapon at a time). For the waves that have enemies that come along with the helicopters, it doesn’t matter if the enemies hit you, just don’t let the helicopter hit you.

Method 2: Shoot it down with guns (Risky Method)
The helicopters are actually pretty weak, and you can take one down with a full clip of pretty much any assault rifle or equivalent. Just make sure when you run/peek out to take the shot, the helicopter is either facing away from you or it has just finished a set of rounds and is reloading.

Notes:
- You can take hits from the helicopters while wearing body armor and still get this achievement. It only identifies taking a "hit" when you actually take a bullet with no body armor, and thus have to "regenerate" your health.

Serrated Edge - 15
Finish a Juggernaut with a knife in Special Ops.

Juggernauts have high health, but they're still quite easy to take down in the early rounds. You will need at least 2 clips of assault rifle ammo or equivalent, flashbangs, and money to buy more flashbangs.

Shoot the juggernaut with the equivalent to about 2 clips of assault rifle ammo, then start spamming flashbangs and knifing it 2-3 times when it’s stunned. It is advised to do this nearby the equipment armory so you can buy more flashbangs ($1000/4 flashbangs) if you run out.

  • Sentry Gun (cost: $3000, unlocked at Lv. 17)
  • Sentry Grenade Launcher (cost: $4000, unlocked at Lv. 31)

Get Rich or Die Trying - 25
Have $50,000 current balance in a Special Ops Survival game.

To get this achievement you must have a current balance of $50,000. This means your counter has to show $50,000+. Spend only when you need to (ammo, armor, claymores etc), and try to rack up killstreaks and other bonuses for extra cash each round.

The easiest way to attain this achievement is to play with a partner. There is an option inbetween rounds to share funds between each other at the Survival Weapons Armory, so you will only need a total of $50,000 between both people. When you have enough, have one person share their money to the other, then share it back so both can get the achievement.

I Live - 10
Survive 1 wave in a Special Ops Survival game.

Pretty simple, start a special ops survival game on any map and complete the first wave. Only ground troops, very easy.

Survivor - 20
Reach Wave 10 in each mission of Special Ops Survival mode.

Complete up to wave 10 on each of the 16 special ops survival maps. See "Unstoppable" for more details.

Unstoppable - 40
Reach Wave 15 in each mission of Special Ops Survival mode.

For this achievement, you will need to play each of the 16 maps and get to at least wave 15 in each of them. Every map has its own rank list so you can check which ones you need to get to wave 15 on. Most maps have an effective spot to camp at, so set up shop with sentry guns/delta squads in the area. For the most part, wave 15 is not very hard to reach.

The follow maps are needed for this achievement:
(Unlocked at start)
Resistance
Village
Interchange
Underground

(Unlocked at Rank 8)
Dome
Mission
Seatown
Carbon

(Unlocked at Rank 15)
Bootleg
Hardhat
Fallen
Outpost

(Unlocked at Rank 25)
Lockdown
Arkaden
Downturn
Bakaara

Spec Ops Mission

50/50 - 20
Complete a Special Ops Mission Mode game with the same number of kills as your partner.

To earn this achievement, you must play with a partner either splitscreen offline or co-op over Xbox Live. You must end up with the same number of kills as your partner does at the end of any spec ops mission. This is done easiest on the missions "Stay Sharp" and "Breach & Clear". Both these maps are similar as they are like field training missions where you run around an obstacle course shooting targets that pop up as you move from area to area.

No Assistance Required - 20
Complete a Special Ops Mission Mode game on Hardened or Veteran with no player getting downed.

- Start any Special Ops mission game (with the exception of Stay Sharp & Breach and Charge) with a friend either via splitscreen or Xbox Live and complete the level without getting downed. Like you should with Hardened/Veteran modes, do not rush forward blindly and use cover and wait for health to regenerate should you get hit.

Brag Rags - 10
Earn 1 star in Special Ops Mission Mode.

Complete any one of the first available missions on any difficulty to earn 1 star.

Tactician - 20
Earn 1 star in each mission of Special Ops Mission Mode.

The special ops missions awards stars based on completion of difficulty. 1 star is awarded for each mission on regular, 2 stars for hardened and all 3 stars for veteran. For this achievement, you will need to have completed every special ops mission on at least regular.

Overachiever - 40
Earn 48 stars in Special Ops Mission Mode.

The special ops missions awards stars based on completion of difficulty. 1 star is awarded for each mission on regular, 2 stars for hardened and all 3 stars for veteran. For this achievement you will need to have completed every special ops mission on Veteran.
All missions can be done with a co-op partner, and they are quite a bit easier with one because you can revive each other if one goes down.

The guy who has ruined the guide with his unesescarry post, no doubt this will be deleted soon.

Decent guide, needs some punctuation corrections but should be useful.

Most of the areas have limited spawns, I haven't actually done a full veteran run-through yet but from all the missions I have played, most spots naturally progress if you kill enough enemies.

For the 5 kills with one grenade acheivement you mention a method using *mind the gap* mission but then go on to talk about another mission . Mind the Gap is in london with the tunnel sequence but the method you talk about is in the desert with the sandstorm.

You are missing the achievement descriptions for:

Flight Attendant
Kill all 5 enemies during the zero-g sequence in "Turbulence."

For Whom the Shell Tolls
Destroy all targets during the mortar sequence with only 4 shells in "Back on the Grid."

I see that you have the mission names in quotes for the achievement solutions (for example: "In the mission “Bag and Drag”, you will come across the narrow street where you are given smoke grenades to take out a tank.") You also have the reference to other achievements in quotes as well (for example: "Unlocks at the end of the mission. See "Who Dares Wins" for more information.") I would maybe bold the reference to other achievements ("Who Dares Wins") and leave the mission quote how they are ("Bag and Drag"). It would break up the monotony and perhaps avoid some confusion to the reader. Just a thought. That's how it's usually done.

Maybe list the best maps to get "Birdie", ones that have a secure indoor area and which indoor area that is closest to briefcase to buy a Predator drone.

You might want to mention that you get more cash for having killstreaks and not getting shot. Would be helpful for the "Get Rich or Die Trying" achievement.

For "Serrated Edge", what gun does the most damage? Would a LMG be better than an Assault Rifle, or would a Sniper rifle be best to get the Juggernaut's health down before knifing him? Do the Juggernauts appear with other enemies, or on their own?

For the "Armory" achievements in Survival Mode, it would be helpful if you listed how much each item cost, and bullet list them, like so:

Defense Spending - 20
Buy all items from the Survival Equipment Armory.

The Survival Equipment Armory comes online after Wave 3 and consists of:
  • Claymore x5 (cost: $1000)
  • C4 x5 (cost: $1500)
  • RPG-7 x2 (cost: $2000)
  • Body Armor (cost: $2000, unlocked at level 10)
  • Self Revive (cost: $1500)
  • Riot Shield (cost: $3000, unlocked at level 37)
  • Sentry Gun (cost: $3000, unlocked at level 17)
  • Sentry Grenade Launcher (cost: $4000, unlocked at level 37)
  • SAM Turret (cost: $2750)
You can also refill frags and flashbangs here (for $1000 each). It is unknown whether or not all the items have to be bought in a single game or can be accumulated through multiple games.

Arms Dealer - 20
Buy all items from the Survival Weapon Armory.

The Survival Weapon Armory comes online on Wave 2 and consists of:

Assault Rifles
  • M4A1 (cost: $3000)
  • M16A4 (cost: $3000)
  • SCAR-L (cost: $3000, unlocked at level 5)
  • ACR 6.8 (cost: $3000, unlocked at level 14)
  • Type 95 (cost: $3000, unlocked at level 50)
  • G36C (unlocked at level 39)
  • FAD (unlocked at level 32)
  • CM901 (unlocked at level 43)
  • AK-47 (cost: $3000, unlocked at level 24)

  • P90 (unlocked at level 46)
Light Machine Guns
  • M60E4 (cost: $7000)
  • PKP Pecheneg (cost: $7000)
Shotguns
  • Model 1887
  • USAS-12 (cost: $2000)
  • Striker
Handguns
  • Five-Seven (starting weapon)
Machine Pistols
  • G18 (cost: $1500)
  • Skorpion (unlocked at level 3)
  • MP9 (unlocked at level 17)
  • FMG9 (unlocked at level 37)
Attachments
  • Red Dot Sight (cost: $750, unlocked at level 7)
  • Holographic Sight (cost: $1000)
  • ACOG Scope (unlocked at level 3)
  • Shotgun Attachment (unlocked at level 45)
It is unknown whether or not all the items have to be bought in a single game or can be accumulated through multiple games.

Danger Zone - 20
Buy all items from the Survival Air Support Armory.

The Survival Air Support Armory comes online after Wave 4 and consists of:
  • Perk Care Package (see below)
  • Predator Missile (cost: $2500)
  • Air Strike (cost: $2500)
  • Delta Squad (cost: $3000, unlocked at level 14)
  • Riot Shield Squad (cost: $5000, unlocked at level 21)
  • V-22 Osprey Package Drop (cost: $???)
The Perk Care Package itself consists of:
  • Quickdraw (cost: $3000)
  • Steady Aim (cost: $2500, unlocked at level 8)
  • Extreme Conditioning (cost: $2000, unlocked at level 36)
  • Last Stand (cost: $5000)
  • SitRep (cost: $???)
  • Stalker (unlocked at level 22)
  • Sleight of Hand (unlocked at level 50)
It is unknown whether or not all the items have to be bought in a single game or can be accumulated through multiple games.

It makes the guide look nicer rather than having a wall of text.

Nice guide but I would lower the difficulty to 5 or 6. Veteran is one of the easiest CODs ever.

For the Strike aka 5 kills one grenade.

Mission Persona non Grata

Fight your way through the court, through the village (with the civilians) then you have to go right and left until you get the mission objective to get the mobile ground drone. You will see a great iron door in front of you and Captain Price kick of a door to the right to avoid a russian blockade. Don´t follow him!

In fron of you you see a big group of russian soldiers, above there head flights an attack chopper. Cook a grenade and throw it over the iron door, you will get an easy 5 kill (or more) streak of enemys. Achivement plops right after this sequence.

Why is this listed as 7 in difficulty section of the road-map? It's more difficult than Batman lol?

I guess OP thinks spec ops is really hard.

Was thinking the exact same thing. No way can the spec ops be more difficult than the challenges in Arkham City. He even goes on to say in the road map that it's a pretty easy 1000...
