After 1.2.3, I think they will deserve more money because of how much work it is/will take to re-code everything. I hope they will update this as closely to the pc game as possible and charge us REASONABLY (MS shouldn't take advantage).

I think its a mini console setup to your tv that connects with its controllers ideal for freeware type games. the video I posted was released yesterday with an expected release of March 2013. Their Kickstarter has over triple what they expected to need to start. They has another video on their Kickstarter linked here that explains more.. and on their site it answers quiet a few questions. I'm hoping for the best

just to clear the confusion about the charging etc, if things a4re released as updates on the 460 (same thing as patches in this context btw) they d not and cannot charge players for them, so anything minecraft release as an update will be free to us

when they talk about charging fr them they are talking about the excessive sums of money that microsoft charge the developers to patch their games

these things are totally unreleated to DLC which is what they can choose to charge the players for

it´s a handy build as a console (no joke)... the hardware is a little bit better than 360 and it´s open source...

it will run with Android 4.0...
it´s a little bit console and some multimedia stuff, but open like PC...

Features:-
- Added Pistons & Sticky Pistons.
- Added Stackable fences.
- Added Shears – required to get wool from sheep, and to collect leaf blocks.
- TNT needs Flint and Steel or Redstone to detonate.
- Redstone wire will now connect to a repeater.
- New textures for Cobblestone and Brick.
- Added Character Skin Selector to allow players to choose their skin from the default skins, or from Downloadable Content skin packs.
- Added lighting improvements (brought forward from 1.8.2 update) and snow & rain improvements.
- Added a save file cache to improve the speed of displaying the saves list.
- Added ban list functionality to allow players to self-ban from levels they feel contain offensive content.
- Added a ban list section to the How To Play menus.
- Added an option for the host to limit online games to only players in their friends list (no friends of friends).
- Added a seed display to the level load screen (requires existing levels to be saved out again to add the display).
- Changed the tooltip display setting to in-game tooltip display, so that tooltips always display in menus.
- Added the crosshair to the list of things affected by the opacity slider.
- On using the quickselect bar, the opacity of the quickselect, tooltips, splitscreen gamertag display, and crosshair will be set to 80,
and will fade back down to the user opacity setting after 6 seconds of no quickselect bar use.
- Added some more Tips & Trivia to the loading/saving screen display.
Tutorial World changes & additions:-
- Added optional tutorial for Pistons and Redstone.
- Added a self-building bridge to the castle using Pistons.
- Added some sugar cane, cactii and clay to the world.
- Added a few other things for players to discover.
Fixes:-
- Fix for only the host being shown the pop-up when any player attempts to place lava near the spawn point.
- Fixed tooltip for Flint and Steel.
- Fix for Note blocks not showing notes.
- Fix for Leaderboard reads taking too long.
- Fix to block players re-entering a level they have been kicked from, until the level is restarted.
- Fix to stop players being able to join a game when they are not a friend of any player in the game.
- Fix for Netherracks re-appearing after being mined.
- Fix for a rare crash on entering the Nether.
- Fix for attacking enemies at a different level not damaging them.
- Fixed a problem causing some save games not to load.
- Removed Herobrine.

Front page is updated! And I'll update it tomorrow again for what's coming in 1.8.2 I actually already have a list made up!

Though my plan to have this thread so people don't make a bunch of other threads about the updates seems to have failed. Oh well.

Things will be a bit easier (or at least more efficient) since they're adding a seed display. You should then be able to take your seed and enter it into one of the online slime chunk finders to locate where to dig your slime farm. I'm definitely looking forward to that. I've had no luck at all digging out random spawn rooms.

ive actually not bothered looking for slimes yet as i assumed they were being released with pistons and are just rare

now it seems they are rarer then i thought if its possible to locate them before the update

It takes a lot of work to make a proper Slime factory. basically make a 60x3x60 cave system at y = 7 and light it up and you should beginning to get slime

not forgetting to find an old version of the programs that works with this version, the codes been updated several times since 1.7.3

60*60 is only 4 chunks and slimes spawn in 10% of all chunks.. or close enough anyway

so with that area your not giving yourself that much chance for them to spawn

From what I've read online, both of these work for the xbox version. I've yet to try them out since I'm on a random seed but I'm hoping that they do.

You know you are playing by the new rules right? If I remember correctly slime spawn more frequently in older version of the game like this one.

All I know is it worked for me twice so apparently I'm extremely lucky.

Just because it's coming on the 13th doesn't mean it's coming at midnight wherever you are. It probably won't be here until much later (especially considering its only 10PM on the 12th here.

Someone really should post when it does go live though (and if the skin pack came with it) since I will probably be asleep. I'll update when I wake up.

But its the same everytime something is released, they say a time and never makes it in time.

i created a 40x4x40 at bedrock level and didnt light up at all and there spawn all types of monster including slimes you just have to wait at tthe spawn and slimes will be spawning i prefer torching up the corners. They always spawn near the torches, so i think they spawn where enough light is. Torchers dont have affect on the spawn of slimes..

4AM GMT = 5AM EST (dunno if ur +1 means plus an hour but if it does that would mean 6AM EST) 6 AM EST is about 4 hours away, 5 AM EST is about 3 hours away. it should not be out yet. right now it is 2:12 EST

See the whole UCT/GMT to your current time zone is really odd.

If the update is supposed to roll out 2 AM UCT my time zone CST is 6 hours behind it. So that means, the update was supposed be out at 8PM I think.

I dunno it is very confusing sometimes. Either way, usually in the past updates didn't happen till around 4 to 5 AM EST. If not around 6 to 7 AM EST.

I guess it'll be out when it comes out. Can't wait for the pistons though...finally.....been going back and forth between pc and xbox.

Yep I've been playing around with the pistons for about 30 mins now. Pretty awesome sucks though as I can make them in my old save but in order to get slimes for sticky pistons I had to start a new world correct?

Or at least hope that my old save would spawn them on easy...sigh.

The scientists are from Splosion Man and Ms Splosion man, and from the looks of it, the trials character is 1 from Trials HD and the rest from Evolution. Not 100
% on the trials ones though
