Missing Link worth it?

Obviously its only 600MSP for a few days and I have 600 spare points, I've only recently rebought Deus Ex so I am assuming I'd have to finish it all again before tackling the DLC.

The main put off point for me is losing all your upgrades etc, is this a big game changer or not? I imagine playing this game with non of the cool upgrades to be kinda dull

Saying that a guy from work said it works very well and he thoroughly enjoy the DLC.

Opinions

I started it yesterday and so far I'm loving it. Sure I miss my cool augmentations but you'll have them back pretty quickly.

Honestly for 600 msp it's a steal.

Not for $15.00 no. I personally wrote a review on Deus Ex The Missing Link and Deus Ex Human Revolution.

I've read some mixed reviews about this one, some say it's great and some it's ok. Is it possible to play this DLC just alone without playing the original game to the point where this DLC takes place?

Yeas it is. It is pretty well written as it doesn't spoil what is going to happen, but still answers lots of questions.

I just bought Deus Ex and I'm considering buying Missing Link. Does anyone know if it will work with non-English edition of Deus Ex? Because I have the game in Polish and I don't want to waste points buying something I can't use.

I'd say it's probably more worth it to get the director's cut, which contains this DLC (and all other dlc) by default.
And unlike the original missing link dlc, The DC missing link is baked into the story, rather than being a semi-stand-alone mission.

If the price is an issue, you can probably find the DC pre-owned at a gamestop near you for cheap?
