Most Wanted - Latest News from Gamescom 2012

Quote:
In Need for Speed Most Wanted, players will be able to drive almost any car they want, right from the beginning. No grind. "If you can find it, you can drive it."

Need for Speed Most Wanted will make use of Autolog 2 and a new CloudCompete function, making it the most socially-connected Need for Speed to date. (Vita, PS3, 360, iOS, etc.)

We’re now seeing a demo of Autolog/CloudCompete in action. Friends’ milestones and records are instantly visible upon pulling up to points of interest, like speed cameras and billboards.

Driver is racking up lots of Speed Points. You'll earn these for just about everything you do in Need for Speed Most Wanted.
I don't understand how an AMG doesn't outrun a cop car, but that demo was sick!

They could of done a little more with the showing at the conference, but I suppose they would know better.

As long as the game works online, I will be happy with the latest showing of the game. I'm sure we're all aware that EA has some pretty shit servers.

Hurricane Of 87's Gamercard
Burnout Paradise had some bonkers hit detection, like eliminating people just because of a near-by handbrake turn or being taken out by someone driving past at high speeds but not hitting me.
