Achievement List

Achievements do contain spoilers so some may want to avoid looking at the list. Gonna require at least two playthroughs

Thanks for posting this, I've been waiting in anticipation for awhile. Looks like a pretty cool list. I would say at least 2 playthroughs. Probably more if you want to actually enjoy the game. It seems trying to accomplish all of these on two playthroughs would be tough/frustrating.

List looks good and some remind me of Deus Ex:

Ghost
You completed all missions after the prologue, alerting or killing no one but key targets

Shadow
You completed all missions after the prologue without alerting anyone

I managed to complete that without being seen, so this shouldn't prove too hard. Only thing that will cause issues will be this achievement if you go to do it in one playthrough:

Mostly Flesh and Steel
You finished the game without purchasing any supernatural powers or enhancements, besides Blink

The game will probably be best done in 2 playthroughs, unless you can save and then reload. As some of the achievements require you to kill and use certain powers, but as shown above, you can't if you want to do it in 1.

The secret cheevos are out (SPOILERS, naturally) - looks to me like most can be done along the way, but at least a couple are at cross purposes. 2 Play throughs for sure, maybe three depending.

It's definitely possible to do this in one play through. No doubt you can save and reload.

Practically, you'll probably need two unless the game is pathetically easy.

Doesn't look like there's any difficulty related achievements surprisingly. Seems like I'll be playing through it a lot too. Writing an achievement guide could be a real challenge for whoever's doing that.

I'm on the fence with this one. So far, what I have seen of it, I have liked. Having said that, the list looks like this is going to be a minimal of 2 runs to get the 1000g. On top of that, it looks like it's going to be a fairly long game, which if the story, graphics, and gameplay are up to snuff, then that's right up my alley. Having said that, It better be a solid game and not the steaming pile of shit Darksiders 2 turned out to be. I don't mind working for my achievements, nor do I mind doing multiple runs of a game (Skyrim, Dark Souls, Fallout, etc.) but, the the game better be fucking solid to warrant 2 complete runs. Otherwise, I'll pass.

Looks like a cracking list to me. Sounds pretty challenging and should take a while to 1000. Won't worry too much about getting achievements on my first run however as I'll want to mess around with the various powers, etc

It looks like you'll have to play through this multiple times.

Works for me.

Some of these achievements seem very ridiculously annoying to get.
Can't wait to try and get them though lol.

I think it is worth noting that none of the achievements seem to be difficulty level related, which may make a HUGE difference on that annoyance factor.

I have a feeling that some of the achievements will be kinda difficult regardless. The one for not killing anything will certainly be a nice challenge.

Indeed. The Pacifist will be challenging. Unlike Deus Ex 3 , you can even spare the bosses.

My first playthrough will be purely enjoyment based. So at least 3 playthroughs for me as this game looks fantastic and I do not want to spoil the game in any way by worrying about specific achievements.

Thankfully no. I don't think this game even has multiplayer. Which is a nice thing to see. I hate when developers tack on a multiplayer mode just to get a bullet point on the back of the box or charge more money for an online pass.

The list looks really fun to me. I'm definitely going to go for the completion. It should be very enjoyable. The game looks great.

True, unless those secret achievements about completing the game in low chaos and high chaos are actually difficulty levels...

I'm pretty sure I heard a developer use the chaos terms when talking about the different endings. He said something to the effect of "If you go through the game without killing anyone. Then you'll be in low chaos and get the appropriate ending. But if you go through and kill everyone in sight. Then you'll be considered to be in high chaos and get a different one." That's in no way a direct quote. But it was something like that. I heard it during the E3 coverage.

So hurrah for optional difficulty levels. I like to play on higher difficulties for the challenge. But I don't like to have an achievement tied to it because that makes me feel forced into playing it even if I don't want to. Spec Ops the Line is a perfect example of this. I played it on the Hard difficulty (Suicide Mission) on my first playthrough. It was grueling in certain spots but doable. Then I finished and unlocked FUBAR difficulty. Let's just say it is very aptly named. It was the only reason I didn't complete the game. It annoyed me for a while since I loved the game and like to complete games that I enjoy that much. But it's no big deal at the end of the day. I look forward to going for the 1000 in this game. Bring on the challenge.

It doesn't official release until tonight at midnight. There are some people that got the game early though. And of course there are people that pirated it. I'm not saying anyone on this site did that. I'm just pointing out that it has happened. I'm picking my copy up tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. when GameStop opens. I'd go to the midnight release, but I'm feeling pretty tired right now. So I doubt I'll be up for it.
