Custom Halo 3 Spartan Armor Suit on sale on eBay

From the eBay auction:
Quote:
You are bidding on the best and most accurate Master Chief Costume on Ebay. This suit is my own personal suit that I am now giving up. The suit is so awesome, it has been featured on Spike TV, G4 TV, and in a Dell Commercial. This suit is FAMOUS!

Now it can be yours. The suit is made from a very hard Urethane Plastic. It isn't one of those cheaply casted vacuum formed suits. You could probably pound in a nail with your forearm if you wanted to. I'm 6"1' in the pictures, so you can figure out how well it might fit you from that.

Also included is an Assault Rifle Display. The reason I say display is because it's ONLY HALF OF A GUN - the other side is flat. See pictures for what I mean.

Included is:

The Best Halo Helmet in Creation. Perfectly accurate, and the right size. You can see perfectly out of the visor, and is very comfortable.

* Chest/Back Piece
* Shoulders
* Forearms
* Hand Plates
* Belt/Cod Piece/2 Belt Pouches
* Thighs
* Shins
* Ankles
* Toe Plates
* Boots
* Assault Rifle Display

You can have this suit in time for the halo launch! Wait until people see you walk in the door with this thing on! People will love you. Then, you can win all sorts of costume contests when Halloween comes around.

It looks like he painted the top of the helmet with tipex. Any bets on how high the fanboys will be bidding?

I'm going to say upwards to at least the $7,500-10,000 region. Its hard to guess who will throw their hat into the ring and who might get aggressive at the else. Also they might have to start confirming bids because of people driving the price up but not being able to pay for it.

I'm not a halo nerd at all, infact ive never played any of the games; but ive got to say, that outfit looks pretty dam cool. I'd love to take that paintballing and use that as my costume. I bet it'd get pretty hot in that armor though... And you got to be seriously rich or just stupid to spend $7,500 on that..

Current bid's at $5,300 with 6 days left. I want that thing, but not for that much money. Think of all the cool home entertainment stuff you could get for that cash to actually enhance your Halo3 experience! I wish I had that kind of $ to blow.

If I had some spare 20 grand to blow on that I would, but I guess my priorities are all wrong...bills and such come first.

Sorry to bring up a semi-old thread but i thought people would like to know that the suit finally went for $21,149.00 to a person called directsalesprice, i just hope its worth the money for their sake.
