I did and they said its not their problem and to contact Rockstar.. They said they need to develop a patch to fix said problem. Told this to Rockstar and they wanted to know who at ms said such a thing. None have any idea what's going on lol.

So basically we're SOL. Unless they fix this there's no way I'm supporting R* in the future, that's just laziness. Even if that means no GTA 5 for me.

Same here. they even brought out an update the otherday and it didnt patch the problem we are all having .-. im done with rockstar if they dont do anything about this and ive been a loyal fan since 2002. i didnt waste 40hrs doing NYM Hardcore or waste 2400msp on the rockstar pass if i knew i was gunna get ripped of AND screwed out of the achievements. dissopinted rockstar

Spoke with Microsoft again today, they have opened a case and shall be investigating the matter internally and with Rockstar. I have also sent Rockstar another email explaining what MS have said and plan to do. I am now waiting until MS call me back tomorrow with an update. If it is anything of interest I will keep you all informed.

That sounds promising. And if you're to speak with them again, could you mention this has happened to multiple people? If you haven't already. It seems like they just kind of arbitrarily advance certain cases, and hopefully if yours goes through we'll all benefit.

Guy from ms phoned me today.. Didn't offer much advice other than he has passed the query to the escalation team who will have a deeper look. However he did mention that they wonder if it may be due to me downloading it through the max Payne 3 game instead of through the normal marketplace..

Typical, no solution. Thanks anyways, hopefully it gets sorted out. Btw is there possibly a way to wipe all Max Payne data possibly? Maybe that could be a solution, as I doubt anything will happen between R* and MS.

This is what I asked R*, to wipe all the multiplayer data so it registers again a kill with both those weapons. I think it's not working because even though we removed our achievement, the data is saying we already did it.

Dunno if it makes any sense

It IS Microsoft's fault though, as its THEIR website which wasn't updated, thus resulting in our messed up achievements. I hate how everybody chooses to point fingers rather than actually do something. Is there something else we could do?

Ive tried deleting all the DLCs including the rockstar pass going legend again. and nothing :/ i wonder if i actually bought the Hostile Negotion Map Pack from the marketplace maybe then it would reset the achievement.. idk.. thats my only thought and im not wasting 800msp to try get a achievement i already had. just fuck MP3 and its shit dlcs. im not even gunna do the rest of the dlcs. SOLD

The next DLC for Max Payne, the painful memories pack is to be released on December 4th. If anyone who has experienced the faulty achievement downloads it please give us a heads up if it fixes the cheevo!

Hello,

Unfortunately I do not have any information as to what will be released in future patches

We're sorry to hear that you're having issues with one of our titles. Below you will find some Console Troubleshooting steps which may help resolve the issue. These are the official troubleshooting steps provided by Microsoft on their support site:

Before troubleshooting, please check the following:
1. Turn the console off and on.
2. Unplug all power cords and accessories, and then plug them back in firmly. Make sure all connections are secure.
3. Update your console software (this article from Microsoft details how to check if your console software is up to date http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-3...m-updates-info)

Clearing the System Cache:
1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
4. Select Clear System Cache.
5. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

Clearing the Game Data:
(Prior to clearing the game data, ensure that you back up any Save Data so it doesn't become deleted)
1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press A on your controller.
4. Select Games and Apps.
5. Scroll through the list until you find the game you want to clear the data, once you find it press A on your controller.
6. Delete any game related files which are not "save" files, if these files are deleted they cannot be recovered.
7. Once all of the files have been deleted, go back to the Xbox Dashboard Home.
8. Reboot the game.

I asked them to reset our multiplayer stats because it must have something to do with it, otherwise we wouldn't be able to re-unlock the 720spin achievement and not the other.

Of course no response.
