On bowls where when you have the position set and you press A, theres the little blue circle that goes big then small then big again is it better to press A when the blue circle is smallest?

Yes, the smaller it is the more precise the shot is.

Thanks ! Also a guy on one of the other pages suggested downloading 9 men morris game, I'd highly recommend it. After some tedious moves where the game makes real dick moves across the board to stop you the computer(on my laptop) from winning but eventually got one over on it!

I tried to follow it and it helped at least get me halfway through a game. I had to win them on my own afterwards but it worked out. He kept picking random stuff after like 6 moves. It is extremely hard and in my opinion the hardest achievement in the game (specifically if no outside help).

Okay so the Zillions of Games software demo finally worked for Fanorona, but when/how do I get the other two games and the thief challenges?

He eventually made the exact same moves as in the video after losing about 1000 dollars. Good guide

Fanora is impossible to win. Haven't beaten it in over an hour. It's just such a stupid fucking minigame/achievement.

EDIT: After about 1.2 hours of fucking up, my game finally synced up perfectly to this video and I was able to mimic the video to win. As annoying as it was, thank you for the video man.

This took me close to two hours to win a game or fanorona. I finally did it legit. I agree with Tyger because this is the hardest cheevo in the game.

I found it easier to trap his pieces rather than drop him down to two so you do not have to deal with his free movements when he has three.

I let him go first, let him take the easy first piece when we both fill up the 2nd circle, then set up my mill factory to start removing his pieces. It is easier to set up the mill factory if you go second because you get the last placement on the board.

Once I got him down to 4 pieces I STOPPED making mills, and just started moving my pieces to box him in. Remember you can also win if he cannot move any of his pieces.

I was able to beat the computer at Fanorona and Nine Men's Morris by using the java games on the internet, you just let the computer in AC3 got first, and put those in the game and the computer will play the move, then you play that move in AC3....it worked out pretty well...won first game of each...bowls will take a while but the trick is to get your ball closest, there may be times where its best to knock his balls out of the way too

heres a little help with Morris:

--pick one of the rings (i like the outside) and put a piece in a corner, such as at 1.
--put your next piece at the opposite corner in the same ring, as in 2.
--by now you probably have to block the AI's first mill. if not go to the next step.
--put your next one in corner 3.
--you should now have two options for a mill as in 4, and the AI cant block both. make a mill and remove the piece they put to block one of the mills.
--if the AI is going for another mill, block that obviously, if not, you should be able to make the other mill at 4. now that you're up a couple pieces, it should be considerably easier, as hopefully you'll be able to slide 1, 2 or 4 to keep making mills.

Thank you so much for this. It took around 10 restarts before Achilles made the same moves he did in the video, but he got there. I'm glad that is over.

Connor, please call 1-800-BETS-OFF. You have a gambling problem. I've seen you spend countless hours losing money and you've yet to win a game of Fanorona or Morris.
