Cant move profile from Xbox to USB, Or even delete profile from Xbox

Hello

I own several Xbox's and I want to move my main account from 1 xbox to another.

Just last week I used a USB flash drive i own, to move my main account from 1 xbox to another. so I know it works fine

However just then... I tried to move my main account from 1 xbox onto the USB drive and It said "Cant perform Action, There was a problem performing that action"

I tried to delete the account off the xbox so I could recover it but I also got: "Cant perform Action, There was a problem performing that action"

so now im stuck, any ideas?

No idea why it won't let you transfer the account but you can just download your account from XBL right onto any xbox you want. That or you can download your account directly to your USB drive.

I see now, you weren't clear on which xbox you were moving the profile from. I didn't realize you were trying to move it off from an xbox that was offline. Try using a different slot on your xbox or possibly another flash stick.

If those don't work, I'm out because I have no more ideas..

Ive fixed it, heres what I did... quote is taken from xbox official forums:

Hi Guys,
Not sure if this was solved already, but I came across a solution.
I had the very same problem. In my case was it the Auto-Login feature of my account that prevented me from moving my Profile from my HDD to my USB.
If you have the Auto-Login feature for your account enabled do you need to disable it.
Profile -> Sign-in preferences -> Profile Auto Sign-In off
Once you changed it restart/reboot xbox and transfer your Profile.
I hope this can help you guys...
Cheers.
This fixed it for me

Sorry I couldn't be of help but at least you got it to work. I'll keep that auto sign-in answer if someone ever has the same issue.

I was trying to delete my profile the other week and re-download it.
It wouldn't let me delete it, turned out I was trying to delete it from "All Devices" and not my Hard Drive HDD.
