Achievement Guide with Videos and Roadmap

Overview:
-Estimated achievement difficulty: 5
-Offline: 45 [900]
-Online: 5 [100]
-Approximate amount of time to 1000: 46 hours total (20 hours multiplayer, 20 hours campaign, 6 hours Zombies)
-Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1+ Rewinds to get some choice achievemnts + Replay Missions for Challenges
-Missable achievements: Mission Select with Rewind
-Does difficulty affect achievements?: Yes, there are achievements for completing campaign missions on Veteran
-Glitched achievements: None
-Unobtainable achievements: None

Roadmap:

Playthrough #1: Complete the main story mode on Veteran skipping the Strike Force missions and noting challenges needed and picking up all the intel.
Playthrough #2: Via Mission select going back and getting over 10K points on all 5 strike force missions and also playing each mission one or more times to get all the challenges complete.
Multiplayer: Check the multiplayer section of the guide but there is not much to it. Play a few modes and "grind" your way to prestige 1.

CAMPAIGN

The Strike Force missions are entirely optional and although there are achievements for them, you do not have to do them in your Veteran playthrough. They are required for a campaign achievement but I would suggest a separate playthrough.

If you need to do a story achievement you have already passed you can select Rewind Story in the Replay Mission menu to start from any mission you have completed and go forward with a new story. You retain the choices you made in mission previous to this but everything going forward is brand new.

PYRRHICH VICTORY

Gun Nut - 10 Complete a level with customized loadout.
At the starting loading screen hit Y to change your loadout. Your only real option is to add Select Fire to the FAL. This achievement will unlock at the end of the level.

No Man Left Behind - 20 Rescue Woods.
Complete Pyrrhich Victory.

CELERIUM

Gathering Storm - 20 Investigate the jungle facility.
Complete Celerium

OLD WOUNDS

PREP: Dirty Business :: You must NOT shot K in the end.
Back in Time - 10 Use a future weapon in the past.
Having now finished a future mission you can use it in custom loadout when starting Old Wounds. The achievement will unlock at the end of the mission.

Shifting Sands - 20 Gather intel on Raul Menendez from Mullah Rahmaan.
Complete Old Wounds

TIME AND FATE

Man of the People - 15 Stop the brutality inflicted by the PDF.
In Time and Fate you will come on quite a few PDF soldiers beating on men and women. Note there are several people in the side building of the opening area so be sure to help them. A man on the left and a woman in the upstairs of the building on the right as you come screaming down the hill. Simply kill the PDF and this will unlock at the horse barn if you've saved everyone.

Driven by Rage - 20 Take down Menendez and his operation.

FALLEN ANGEL

PREP: Good Karma & Ship Shape :: You must successfully complete ALL Strike Force missions for these achievements to unlock.
Hey Good Looking - 10 Plastic surgery avoided
You get this for avoiding the final flame pipe at the end of the car chase scene. You'll know your at the end because you'll come to a big glass structure and you'll be told that "a chain reaction" has started. Keep to the far right to avoid this flaming pipe to get the achievement.

Waterlogged - 20 Gather information on Raul Menendez' suspected terrorist plot.
Complete Fallen Angel

KARMA

PREP : Good Karma :: You must either directly save Karma or then immediately save Karma in Second Chance
PREP : Showdown :: DelFalco must escape at end
What Happens in Colossus... - 20 Find the Karma weapon.
Complete Karma

SUFFER WITH ME

Dirty Business - 15 Listen and think before you shoot.
This will unlock in SUFFER WITH ME when you get to the hotel room if you listened to all of K's story in OLD WOUNDS. (Meaning you resisted the urge to shoot him during the interogation).

Family Reunion - 10 There are two futures.
In the mission SUFFER WITH ME do not go for a headshot at the end. Hit the body to make him crumble to the ground, then give it a second and put one in his kneecaps.

False Profit - 20 Capture Manuel Noriega and bring him to justice.
Complete Suffer With Me

Old Fashioned - 50 Complete "Pyrrhic Victory", "Old Wounds", "Time And Fate", and "Suffer With Me" in Veteran.
This will unlock at the end of the mission if you have finished all of these missions on Veteran up to this point.

ACHILLES' VEIL

PREP: Good Karma :: IF you killed DelFalco your choose doesn't matter, IF you let DelFalco go you must choose to shoot Harper.
PREP: Ultimate Sacrifice :: You must choose to shoot Menendez. Right after achieve save and quit to choose other option.
PREP: Showdown :: You must choose to shoot Harper.
Ultimate Sacrifice - 15 Only one can survive.
In Achilles' Veil you must choose to shoot Menendez.

Deep Cover - 20 Capture Menendez.
Complete Achilles' Veil

ODYSSEUS

Showdown - 15 A duel between rivals
You need to have let DeFalco escape in KARMA. Then have Farid kill Harper in ACHILLES' VEIL. Karma can NOT be present so you need to skip SECOND CHANCE Strike Force. They will both then be on the Obama in ODYSSEUS. You will unlock this achievement during the cutscene near the end of the mission.

Good Karma - 20 Crack the celerium worm.
NOTE: As this is a multiple mission achievement you can NOT get this with Mission Replay. It must be on a campaign playthrough meaning New Game or Rewind Mission. Again, using Mission Replay you will NOT get this achievement.

OPTION 1:
A) Complete ALL Strike Force missions successfully.
B) Save Karma immediately in Karma killing DelFalco.
C) Choose to shoot Harper.
D) Shoot Briggs in the leg.

OPTION 2:
A) Complete ALL Strike Force missions successfully.
B) Let DelFalco escape.
C) Save Karma in Second Chance Strike Force.
D) Choose to shoot Harper.
E) Shoot Briggs in the leg.

The achievement will unlock at the end of the mission.

Ship Shape - 10 Reinforcements on the way.
NOTE: As this is a multiple mission achievement you can NOT get this with Mission Replay. It must be on a campaign playthrough meaning New Game or Rewind Mission. Again, using Mission Replay you will NOT get this achievement.

You need to have successfully completed ALL Strike Force missions (Not counting SECOND CHANCE) for everyone to be on your side. You also need to only shoot Briggs in the leg so he can reactivate the defenses. This will then unlock at the end of ODYSSEUS.

Sinking Star - 20 Interrogate Menendez.
Complete Odysseus

CORDIS DIE

Late for the Prom - 20 Escort the president to the secure location in downtown LA.

JUDGEMENT DAY

Dead or Alive - 15 Jailer or executioner.
Complete Judgement Day and you must make the choice to shoot or let him live. If you take too long and the game makes the decision for you, it doesn't unlock.

Death from Above - 50 Stop Menendez once and for all.
Complete Judgement Day

Black Ops II Master - 15 Complete the campaign on Hardened or Veteran difficulty.
This will unlock at the end of the last mission. You do NOT need to do any Strike Force Missions.

Futurist - 50 Complete all future levels in veteran.
This will unlock at the end of the game.

High IQ - 20 Collect all intel.
This will unlock at the end of the mission that you complete it on. You do NOT need all the collect intel challenges checked off, you just need to get all the intel.

STRIKE FORCE

As I said Strike Force is NOT required for the Vet achievement but it is part of the Ten K and there are achievements for each of the missions. If you don't do them as part of your campaign playthrough you can access them via Replay and the points count towards the 10k per mission. Each mission also has a individual achievement for it.

Singapore Sling - 15 Successfully neutralize the SDC freighter at Keppel Terminal.
Complete Shipwreck

Defender - 15 Successfully defend FOB Spectre from incursion.
Complete FOB Spectre

Desert Storm - 15 Successfully escort the VIPs to safety.
Complete I.E.D.

Blind Date - 15 Successfully rescue HVI.
Complete Second Chance

Art of War - 25 Successfully assassinate SDC Chairman Tian Zhao.
Complete Dispatch

Ten K - 15 Minimum score 10k in every mission
You need over 10,000 points in all the Strike Force and all the Campaign missions. You can check your progress in Career Record from the Replay Mission menu. This does NOT need to be done in one playthrough. You can select missions from Replay Missions.

MULTIPLAYER

Trained Up - 10 Win 10 multiplayer games while playing in Combat Training playlists.
This is the human vs bots learning mode. You still need to be LIVE connected to selet it. Most of the mode locks out at level 10 so I would suggest doing this first. Objective is the only mode open after 10, but counts.

Big Leagues - 20 Win 5 multiplayer League Play games after being placed in a division.
You need to play 5 games just to place. Then when in a league, win 5 games.

Party Animal - 10 Win 10 multiplayer games while playing in Party Games playlists.
At launch the Party list is: Gun Game, One in the Chamber, Sharpshooter & Sticks and Stones.

Welcome to the Club - 10 Reach Sergeant (Level 10) in multiplayer Public Match.
Level 10 is 24,300 XP.
Welcome to the Penthouse - 50 Prestige once in multiplayer Public Match.
Prestige is 1,249,000 and it took me 16 hours to do.


ZOMBIES

I Don't Think They Exist - 10 In TranZit, kill one of the denizens of the forest while it is latched onto you.
This one is probably the first one you can get. Instead of taking the bus run through the smoke which will cause the little ones to spawn. They are small little creatures that jump up and latch to your face. You need to blast the RS to hit them off. When you do the achievement will unlock.

Happy Hour - 10 In TranZit, buy 2 different perks before turning on the power.
You can buy the first perk Quick Revive right away for 500 in the bus stop. Create the TURBINE and then head to the farm. You need 750 to open the diner and then you will need 3000 to buy Speed Cola, so I suggest you ride to the farm and do Double Tab in the barn as that only costs 2000.

Standard Equipment May Vary - 25 In TranZit, acquire 4 different equippable items in 1 game.
There are 5 items that can be made at benches at each stop that can be picked up and used. Each item can ONLY be put together at the correct bench. The benches are wooden work stations with a large blueprint behind them. You can only carry one item at a time (including bus parts) so add it to the bench immediately. Once you have all the parts you can have 1 equippable bonus item at a time and once created items will always be available to grab from the bench during the entire length of the session.

Bus Stop - Turbine - Mannequin, Toy Plane Wing & Fan
Diner - Zombie Shield - Dolly & Car Door
Farm - Turret - Machine Gun, Ammo Box & Lawn Mower
Power - Electric Trap - Battery, Base & Speaker

The parts are NOT set in exact location so you will need to find them in the area.

Don't Fire Until You See - 30 In TranZit, have all doors opened without being set on fire.
The hardest part of this is the Diner area as the bus stop on the lava. Also getting into the house without being set on fire is VERY hard.
Bus Stop - 1 - Main door
Diner - 2 - Diner door and garage door
Farm - 2 - Gate and the house door
Edge of Town - 1 - Door to power house
Town - 3 - One is 1,000, other 2 are 750
Total: 7000
You also need to open all the Power Doors with the Turbine and activate the Green Power door that is right as you drop down to turn on the Power.

The Turbine is created from the 3 parts in the opening Bus Stop area. The Mannequin, Fan, and Toy Plane Part. Then placing the Turbine in front of things requiring power, powers them on. They will close again when you pick up the Turbine but count has being opened.

Fuel Efficient - 10 In TranZit, use an alternative mode of transportation.
Once you turn on the power you some of the lights around the entire map will turn green. Allow a face hugger to grab you outside the safe zones and then take it to one of the green lights. It will jump off and burrow into the ground and create a hole you can jump into to randomly teleport around the map. Doing this teleport will unlock the achievement.

Tower of Babble - 75 In TranZit, obey the voices.

Undead Man's Party Bus - 15 In TranZit, complete all additions to the bus in 1 game.
This is to acquire all 3 bus parts. The Grill, the ladder, and the roof access. The roof access can also be used to get the Gloves from the diner roof, but then you lose the ability to add it to the bus.

You Have No Power Over Me - 15 In TranZit, defeat "him" without being attacked by "him"
You need to turn on the power and then use a EMP or Trap to eliminate him without getting hit.


The Lights Of Their Eyes - 5 In Green Run, pacify at least 10 zombies with 1 EMP.
The EMP can be gotten from the random box at the Diner randomly (dahhh) for 950.

Dance On My Grave - 5 In Green Run, acquire your Tombstone.
The Tombstone perk is at Power.

CHALLENGES

NOTE: Challenges are only saved on completition of a level. You must complete the entire level for a challenge to register. Do these on Recruit as there is no reason to do them on a higher difficulty. I will make notes and videos for some of the harder challenges. A lot of these require you gaining access to weapons and drones you won't be able to get without using the ACCESS PERK. So make sure your loadout has ACCESS. The defaults all do.

These two challenges are in every main mission level.
Collect intel #3
- Once you pick up the intel it is yours period. You can unlock High IQ without needing the challenges. The challenge will NOT unlock until you finish the mission.
100% survivability rating
- You can not die at all. This means you can't get killed (obviously) but also the game killing you for straying too far or taking too long will also void this challenge.


PYRRHIC VICTORY (Angola 1986)
Complete 2 challenges to unlock Fast Hands
Complete 5 challenges to unlock Combat Axe

Eliminate enemy personnel (x15) with machete
Destroy all MPLA tanks
Eliminate enemy personnel (x5) with one mortar explosion
Kill (x4) enemies with one mortar primed animal trap
Eliminate enemy personnel (x10) with animal traps
- You must first get the Mortars from the tipped over truck to the right of when you get the eliminate mortar team objective. The first piece of intel is here also. Then you must get the animal traps when you head to the radio tower.
Sink enemy vessels (x5)
Dive to prone on an enemy grenade and survive
- The enemies at the end will throw grenades at you. You need to dolphin dive near one and survive.
Use elevated improvised positions for confirmed sniper kills (x20)
- Grab the Dragonuv that is leaning against the shed with the animal traps and then get 20 kills as you escape to the water. You have to be on top of the small wooden tree forts.
Collect intel (x3)
100% survivability rating

CELERIUM
Complete 2 challenges to unlock Adjustable Stock
Complete 5 challenges to unlock the Executioner

Eliminate enemy heli before lift off
Destroy sentry turret (x2) while disabled
Eliminate enemy personnel (x4) with one round from Titus weapon

Buy Tombstone for 2000 points at Power Plant down your self then when you respawn pick up the tombstone(where you got downed) and you'll receive your weapons and perks you had at the time of downing(apart from Tombstone) not sure if you have to fullly go down and respawn next round my mate got downed come back the next round and it wouldnt let him collect the tombstone so maybe glitched??? that was on ps3 tho so

It starts from scratch each time and it only counts if you finish the level. The only exception is the intel, that is completed once you get it, but you still need to complete the entire level for it to be checked off.

~~~~~Dance on my grave~~~~~
Must be done in co op
You get the tombstone perk in the lab area / 4th stop. Buy the perk for 2000 Points and down yourself, when your downed hold x when it says "Do Not feed the zombies" you will die and a glowing tombstone item will appear where you died. Get your friend to start a new round up and run over it to get your weapons back.

~~~~~~You have no power over me~~~~~

This achievement is kinda luck based to get the guy to spawn.
He is looks like a stickman who with an electric texture, he turns into a ball of lighting.
He will appear randomly when your playing and he shoots lighting bolts which dont have that good range. Just keep your distance from him and he will eventually fly off when he flys off you get the achievement. I Was shooting him for quite a long time and that didnt seem to do much then he randomly flew off, so im not sure if you have to shoot him or not.

~~~~~Fuel efficient~~~~~

This one is quite easy to do, all you need to do is turn on the power to get the green street lights to turn on in all areas. Then once you done that you want to go up to one and try luring a monkey jockey thing from the fog to it, then start jumping to get the jockey to come of your head. It will then borrow into the ground opening a 1 use teleport. Then all you need to do is jump into the portal, BUT it will teleport port you to another green light in the map which most of time are in the middle of no where. The easiest area to do this is either at the bus stop / area 1 behind where the bus goes. or at the diner/area 2 next to the "need power source

~~~~~Happy hour~~~~~
Fairly simple achievement all you need to do is start a game in solo mode then create the wind turbine in the little bus station where you start out, buy quick revive for 500 points. Use the turbines on the 2 doors to get you outside, then do 1-2 rounds till you get 2750 points. Head to the farm area 3rd area then open the litlle gate for 750 points and head left to the barn with crates in head upstairs and on the back wall of the barn is double tap place your wind turbine in front of it and then buy the perk then the achievement should unlock.
Alternatively you could get 3750 points after buying quick revive and get speed cola in the diner.

~~~~~Standard Equipment may vary~~~~~

For this achievement you need to make all the parts in each area.

1.Wind turbine

Area 1 Bus stop

Bench is right in front of you when you spawn as you start the game.

#Part 1 Fan - On the chair in front of the Crafting table.

#Part 2 Manaquin - Leaning on the pillar/map in the middle of the room facing towards table.

#Part 3 Name ??? - Its on the Left telephone On the wall next to the M14.

2.Meat shield/riot shield.

Area 2 diner.

Bench is in the garage where the mystery box spawns at the back of room.

#Part 1 Car door - Is either on the car In the garage which is in the room next to bench or on the table on the right as soon as you enter the room.

#Part 2 Trolley with tape?? - In the diner either in front of the cookers or next to the table at the opposite end of speed cola.

3.Sentry turret lawnmower.

Area 3 Farm.

Bench is in the farm house on the right downstairs in the first room with a table and 2 sofas in.

#Part 1 Lawnmower - Spawns Either next to the back door fo the famhouse, next to the right of some chrops which are to the left of the farm house or in the barn as you go in from the big entrance next to some barrels in front of you to the left a bit.

#Part 2 Rpd / Gun - Upstairs is either on the balconny near the mystery bos in the farm house or upstairs in the barn to the right of double tap on top of some barrels.

#Part 3 Bullets - On a table next to the tv downstairs of the farmhouse, they are also in other locations which i cannot remember right now.

4.Electric trap

Area 4 Lab/powerstation.

Go in the lab and around to the power room then, Either turn on the power to the lab to open the shutter door or use a wind turbine to open it then go upstairs and on your left.

#Part 1 Battery - Spawns on either of the barrels next to the tombstone perk, also on the barrels right infront of the jump. or in the corner of the just in front of the bench.

#Part 2 - Some wierd thing with a a pole on it with a ball at the end - to the right of tombstone perk or at the top of stairs 2nd stairs in front of the bench.

#Part 3 Speaker??? - Is either on the Window on the right at the top of stairs or the windown the otherside.

5.Jet gun.

Area 5 town
Crafting bench is in the bar building to the right of stamin up
This Part is by far the hardest so i will start easiet first and are spead out through map
#Part 1 wires- They are in Area 4/lab and are in the power plant section. They are at the bottom of the jumb bit on a small island on the left side of room on top of some barrels next to the hole in the wall which is next to the stairs leading to the electric trap bench bottom section or on top of the generators at the end of the metal bridge dead end on the bottome section.

#Part 2 jet turbine - is In between area 1 bus station and area 2 diner you have to jump of the bus about half way through you will see 3 metal shutters on the door side of the bus and a weapon on the wall jump off the bus and the turbine is either in at the top of the small stairs to the right of shutters. next to one of the cars in the middle or in leaning on the wall the otherside of the metal shutters next to a small building with a zombie window.

#Part 3 torch head???- In the cabin between area 5 town and area 4 lab if you jump out of the bus when you get to a green light and run south east to where the bus is going you will find the cabin. You can find the torch on the floor in the middle of room or on either small table to the left and right of the room.

#Part 4 trigger -Which is in nacht de untoten.
To get there you need to jump of the bus at the 1st or 2nd gap in the corn chrops on the same side of the doors of the bus in between Area 3 farm and area 4 lab/powerplant. if you jump of at first gap follow path then you will turn left and then look for a small gap on the right quite soon after. If you jump of the 2nd gap you need to follow path turn right and look for a small gap on the left. keep on following the paths and you will find the building go inside and go to the desk blocking the stairs and the part is on that or just to the left on the fileing cabinet.

Im in the process of doing the easter egg achievement i can make a guide when i done it.

And Don't Fire until you see achievement possibly glitched. i have opened every door i know off twice know without being set on fire. i checked my theatre videos to see if i did and didnt. I opend the wind turbine doors opened roof of diner and pack a punch area. every door i know off and still didnt pop. ive done it co op and solo. i also made sure i didnt get hit or hurt by the fire zombies.


You can use these if you want for your guide and put in your own words if that helps.

For the zombie achievement for opening all doors without catching on fire there are 3 missing doors in the list. There are an extra 3 on the next stop after the door leading to the lab power room. I opened all of them all 9 without catching on fire and the achievement did not unlock. Do doors opened by power count?

Yes. The power doors (including the green power door right at Power) need to be opened also. You just need to activate the green power door, not get inside.
