Yeah, just finished it and it was quite good. Sometimes the blocking was frustrating and didn't work but it had pretty good controls too...Interested to see how this ties in with future Fable titles!

Being somewhat new to the Kinect and all the games that uses that platform myself, I have to say that this game definitely is one of the best if not the best game on the Kinect so far.

The story was really fantastic. Even if you haven't played the previous Fable games or know much about the Fable universe, I think you'll still enjoy it as a standalone title. The themes in this story deal with fate, courage and a heroes reluctance to accept his destiny. I felt Gabriel as a character was relatable and human as someone who was a happy-go-lucky who always fantasized about being a hero like past fables that went on all kind of exciting adventures. I also appreciated his relationship with his horse, Seren, who he had a rich history with and loved very dearly.

The Kinect controls worked well for the most part (except for it failing to detect when you're blocking as someone else mentioned), and this is one of the few games that I can say that it was more immersive and enjoyable with the Kinect controls. In fact, I'd almost say that you could not be able to make a game like this with a traditional gamepad. The horse riding was fun at first, but felt a bit tedious near the end, and the magic mechanics felt pretty intuitive and fun.

Overall, a fantastic game in general and one that utilizes the Kinect in unique but enjoyable ways.

Best surprise game for sure. Fully expected it to suck.

Gunstringer is my favourite overall.

Best Kinect game is probably the first Dance Central.
